Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. We ordered the chicken empanadas and the meat platter(steak, chorizo and rotisserie chicken with fries and salad). Everything was delicious! Definitely coming back!

Best truly authentic Latin food. We had the Tula and fried plantains. They did not disappoint in the least! The rotisserie chicken had an amazing flavor and was falling off the bone. Request the chimichuri, it is delicious. Will definitely be back for my Latin fix!

I had the ¼ chicken, sautéed vegetables and the beans and rice. It was some of the best food I’ve had in Little Rock. I’m definitely coming back!

We love this place!!! My husband & I found it on Unilocal today as we were passing through Little Rock. We haven’t had good Latin food since leaving Miami & had basically given up trying to find our favorite foods anywhere else… Today we FINALLY found a place that has yucca & plantains cooked perfectly! The food was very fresh & cooked to order. We both had ½ chicken, quinoa & plantains– all excellent. Had the empanadas & ice cream for desert & those were yummy as well. Service was stellar & staff was super friendly. I do have one request– like a couple of other reviewers mentioned, it would be nice to have the soft, mushy, carmelized maduros that are made from super ripe plantains as an option. No matter what, this place will be on our faves list. I just wish we lived closer. For now we’ll just have to find excuses to drive from Fort Smith

I was so excited to try this place, and it did not disappoint! Definitely lived up to expectations, though, in different ways than I expected. We started off with the plantains and fried yucca basket. The yucca was THEBEST I have ever had. And I’ve had it in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica and these guys nailed it. The plantains were not the«fried» that I expected. They weren’t smashed halfway and refried. However… my sister got just the basket of fried plantains, and she got exactly what I wanted. Delicious, crispy fried plantains, rather than just seared. So, next time, I will order a large order of fried yucca and a small order of fried plantains.(I can make these at home… just some work) The side salad exceeded expectations. As did the black beans and rice. I am not a rice fan, it is just a filler. However, our amazing waitress suggested topping the Lulu’s green sauce on this item, and I ate it all! So good! That lulu’s green sauce is amazing, I put it on everything! The only thing I was not impressed with was the chicken. I wanted more crispy skin, more spice. It was still a good rotisserie chicken, but nothing more than what I can get at walmart or Sam’s…I know that sounds offensive, but that company has rotisserie chickens down! However, our appetizer and this shared meal(half chicken with two sides) was too much for my hubs and I to eat. We took half of the chicken home… covered in our leftover sauces. I am eager to go back, get the fried yucca, and try the steak, and the choripan. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was so great. She even let us have extra sauce for free. BTW, all sauces are good. But the chimuchurri is really good, and lulu’s green sauce is awesome! The owner even came around and asked for feedback. What a great place!!!

Finally made it by to try this place and WOW! I loved it. So glad there is a place in little rock to get this type of food. We had the fried yucca and plantains as a starter and they did not disappoint! The two sauces served with them were delicious too. I had the rotisserie chicken with grilled veggies and fries. It was tender and juicy. I got he chimichurri sauce and it was good, but the green sauce is better in my opinion. I’m excited to go back for dinner when I can try the caipirinha! All in all, great, quality place for a delicious meal. Not much ambiance in this location but the food is worth it.

Amazing! Jamie, even with 8 tables all by herself did an outstanding job being our server. The food, full of flavor and delicious. I had the ¼ chicken with black beans and rice with vegs. My friend had the Choripan sandwich. These dishes were excellent. His sandwich for being chorizo was not greasy. The cocktails were also good but could’ve been stronger in alcohol but with the atmosphere it felt like summer! Will be back again.

Tried Lulu’s for the first time today with a friend. We shared the Parillada(roasted chicken, grilled steak, 1 charizo sausage, fries and a large salad) along with a regular side of black beans and rice, and a plantain and yuca root basket as an appetizer. The amount of food can be shared between 3 people easily, we were both stuffed and satisfied! I had a cocktail & a glass of wine and split the food and spent $ 38 before tip. The flavors were nice and mellow, I would love to try something spicy. I will definitely return!

Ate here last week with my wife and we both loved it. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly service, and great music. This place is a winning combination and definitely worth checking out. The empanadas were perfection.

Well damn. This place just rocked my socks off. It’s a small quiet eatery. Clean and comfortable. We had empanadas, fried yucca and steak. All of which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Lulu’s is a hidden gem in a bustling neighborhood. My family and I will definitely be returning.

I love Peruvian Chicken and thought I was having to give it up when moving to Little Rock. I’ve only had the chicken, beans, and plantains. The chicken and beans were great, although I share similar thoughts about the plantains the other user pointed out. They were less sweet than I’m used to, but I secretly hoped that meant they were healthier as I ate my weight in delicious chicken. The place is small with ten or so tables. Definitely a solid spot and addition to Little Rock’s culinary scene.

I would like to say I loved this place. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The service was good and the food was amazing. I came here with my mom, step dad, sister and brother in law and their kid. They did have to move a table to add to their tables so if you have a large group you might want to call ahead so they can set it up for you. They were not very busy so moving the table up wasn’t a problem for us. We got an appetizer of fried ucha(sp) and fried plantains for the table. They were great. My niece is a little over a year old and hates potatoes but loved the ucha. I ordered the rotisserie white meat chicken with beans and rice. The chicken was great and the beans and rice were amazing. The only reason I would say 4 star and not 5 star is because the children’s menu was only 1 item(rotisserie chicken and French fries) and the menu in general was kinda small. It did seem like you could make a great«family style» dinner off the menu though. Great food and great atmosphere. Good job lulu’s

Aaaah-mazing! My husband and I had the Parilladas for 2(includes 3 meats, fries, a salad, sauces) that fed both of us and our 5 year old. I cannot pick my favorite item. Seriously. My husband is a very picky salad eater and he demolished the house salad as-is to the point I thought if we were in a less civilized environment that he would have licked the bowl… As I nearly did myself! We had the entrée, 2 bar drinks, the apple empanadas and a side of ice cream for our son and our tab was just over 50.00. For a West LR shot of culture and really great food, I thought that was a steal. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy. From what I can remember about the hours, they are more often open at lunch but as a patron, I think the dining experience is better enjoyed at dinner. Maybe not. Our nighttime experience was great as we had time to really savor the food and enjoy our family outing. Speaking of family… They do have a kids menu! I’m of the belief that if they have a kid’s menu, they’re usually kid friendly. I found this to be true of Lulu’s. They do have high chairs and we were even offered a couple of puzzles upon seating. I did not expect this when we walked in so I was pleasantly surprised! Now, full disclosure, I have a VERY picky eater so the kid’s menu may not be for every kid. However, in the end, my very finicky eater found happiness with our platter and there was plenty for 2.5 people! I can’t say enough great things about Lulu’s Latin Rotisserie! We will definitely become regulars and I urge anyone on the fence to go ahead and hop over. If you’re shy about venturing away from a «pizza and cheeseburger» menu, DON’T!

Wow! Great addition to Little Rock! Friendly service, tasty food and a good value! The chicken platter was amazing! Marinated and juicy! The salad presentation was beautiful and the homemade dressing really made it stand out! No red tomatoes or iceberg here. The black beans and rice were seasoned perfectly and reminded me of ‘home’ . I also had the Yucca Fritas and I highly recommend the Lulu sauce with them. No question that I will be back with friends and family.

Good wholesome food. Good size portions for the price. We had the chicken, rice and beans, empanadas, yuca and plantains. Everything tasted good. Although the plantains were simple and the empanadas could use more filling, we liked the food. The menu is limited. They need more options including green plantains –they only have sweet plantains(Tostones vs. Maduros). Nevertheless, we will return.

I love this place so much, I went twice in two days. Day 1: Ordered takeout: quarter chicken with yucca and rice and beans, beef empanadas, kids meal with yucca. The quarter chicken had so much meat i was able to get 2 meals out of it! It was moist and perfectly seasoned. Had the green, creamy sauce and it was addicting. Empanadas were also very tasty. Yucca was good but a little dry. Day 2: hubby was jealous I didnt bring him home takeout, so we went back. I had quarter chicken, salad, and yucca. Hubs had quarter chicken, roasted veggies, and regular fried. Son had kids meal. We left stuffed and happy. Best part? Total, including tip, was only $ 30!

Pretty average all-around. I was hoping these guys would nail it because I love Latin food and some great Peruvian Chicken. Unfortunately the chicken was just OK, but the real miss for us was the fried plantains, empanadas and Beans/rice combo. While fried plantains usually are sautéed in a skillet and caramelized with a bit of butter/salt/dash of sugar, these were really just fried and pretty dry– not much flavor. Empanadas didn’t have much filling inside– but they are just $ 6 for 3. The service is really friendly and fast– it took us 6 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. Also, the prices are pretty solid for a niche restaurant. $ 8 – 12 for a quarter to half chicken with two sides. The portion sizes are relatively small(you won’t leave stuffed unless you go with the $ 19 whole chicken) but this enables you to try everything. Overall, a decent spot to try once to see if you like it. I may pop back in a few weeks to see if the food has improved a bit but nothing really stood out to pull me back in.
