Great lunch buffet! Chicken tikka masala is fantastic. Friendly staff. Big restaurant with plenty of room. Recommend supporting this restaurant since it’s a bit hard to find and needs Unilocalers to try it out!

I’m surprised to read so many glowing reviews. I’ve been to India Nepal Oven a number of times, but not recently until this visit. We went for the lunch buffet. The service was extremely poor, which is all the more remarkable because we were the only diners in the restaurant for the first 10 – 15 minutes. Our dishes didn’t get cleared between trips to the buffet — they just stacked up on the table. Our beverages were never refilled. We never got naan. The buffet table was incomplete — there were labeled entrees that were never added to the buffet — just empty slots promising an item that never arrived. The food was OK — not exciting, kind of bland, but not distasteful. Maybe their individual entrees are better than the buffet? Or maybe they were just having a bad hair day, but that really doesn’t account for the neglectful service, especially when the restaurant was nearly empty. I’ll be back and try them again. It wasn’t awful — it was OK — but definitely not four or five Unilocal stars. Honestly, three stars is pretty generous for our experience this visit.

The only reason I did not give five stars is due to pricing. However, the service is very friendly. The meals are delicious. And I would definitely return.

We were waiting for a very long time to get food, but it was well worth the wait. An amazing meal, but the service(we were the only people in for lunch) could be improved.

Not the place to go if you have any place to be afterwards. There were two tables occupied with a total of 4 patrons in the restaurant and it took 20 mins to get our appetizer of Naan bread. While it was delicious, that’s quite a wait. We had the Wings and Curry Shrimp. Both were amazing. They have beer here but it’s super pricey! 8 $ for a beer. I stuck with the cheaper Shiner! A favorite of mine anyway. The food is good and the staff is attentive. Next time though, due to the wait, Ill order to go.

Best Nepali food I have had outside of Nepal. If you are looking for delicious Nepali food, this is the place for you. You must try the tungba. It is well worth the drive from any place in metro Denver.

I really really love this place! After moving to this part of town I was in dire need to find a good Indian place and am so thankful I found India Nepal! The service is always friendly and attentive as well! I usually come for the buffet on the weekend, which is nice because they don’t put out a lot of food at once letting it sit so its always fresh. When I order off the menu I stick to Chicken Makmahl or the Chicken Tikka Masala, both excellent and a lot of food! If you aren’t going home to take leftovers I highly recommend sharing a dish!

Started off well with management change several years ago. Freshly made Naan with lunch buffet. Seems very understaffed at dinner time. Last attempt at dinner we were told by the offhand waitress she could not even take our order for 30 minutes as the kitchen was busy. We were not even offered water so after 10 minutes we left. Not been tempted back for the lunch buffet since.

This place is close to my house so I’ve tried it several times. Nice seen it go through different names and I am assuming owners. Although the staff are super nice; unfortunately the food just doesn’t measure up. Most consistently, the past there times I’ve ordered take out here, the chicken in the tikka masala tastes days old. The spices are nice but out of balance. I love spicy Indian food, and like a medium spice, a 5 out of 10 at this place seems more like an 8. Sadly, I’d skip it and drive a little further for fresher food.

Pretty much everything I have had here has been spot on and wonderful. The reason for three stars is the service and the cost. The service is always sub-par and slllloooowwww. And the cost is way too much.

Fantastic food, friendly service, and generous portions! Glad to see that the old Italian place got replaced with something equally tasty.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!! Love this spot in Littleton. Great, authentic Indian food and such friendly wait staff you can’t go wrong! My husband come here once a month and can’t get enough of the chicken Tikki Masala and Chicken Vindaloo! There cheese naan bread is on point too! There buffet needs a little work, long wait times for staple items leave customers hangry!

Had the sweet potato masala because it was recommended by another Unilocaler and it was awesome. The service gets two thumbs down though. Waited a long time to be seated when the restaurant was empty and server took several minutes before greeting us and rarely came back to check on us.

I ordered the lamb boti, chili chicken, and naan for takeout. When I was asked how spicy I wanted the chili chicken, I said 10⁄10 because I like spicy food. Well, I was disappointed when I got home and it was about a 1/10, no spice at all. The lamb boti was WAY overcooked and very chewy. The naan was good and they gave me a small sample of chicken tikka masala(which was too salty). Coming from the plethora of Indian/Pakistani restaurants in Houston, this place is just not up to par with what I am used to.

Haven’t tried this place in a couple years(and some owner changes — which turned out for the best). Had dinner last night and really, really good. Chicken korma spicy(I asked for a «7» out of 10) was really spicy and flavorful. Chicken tikka Marsala was hot at 7, but delicious. Mixed appetizer fried, but tasty. Buddha beer went well with everything. Best Indian food I’ve had in Denver area on a long time. Will be back!(Hope buffet is as good as dinner)

Came here for dinner and it was excellent! We had the chicken korma(which was creamy and full-flavored) and the lamb vindaloo(which was spicy, tender and some of the best lamb I’ve ever had!). Legit Indian food with the depth of spicy you crave! We’ll be back. TIP: Tons of people were leaving with take-out so call ahead and grab your food to go!

I wish I could update with a higher rating. the food was certainly very yummy and the chili chicken was definitely very spicy(I loved it) … but when you come in for a lunch buffet with a 2 yo and a 4 yo and get charged $ 6 each plus the adult buffet … that is way exorbitant !! So, the food was better than the last time and this time arrived as the first table seated for the lunch buffet. The food was fresh and the Naan was delicious. The chicken Tikka was good perhaps even better than average and the chili chicken was spicy enough to make me sweat(very yummy) but this time the service was very disappointing and got 2 saucers of food for my toddlers, yes coffee cup saucers with a little rice, I split a samosa between them, they each got a drumstick, and a little chucken tika on the rice on on that saucer … so getting charge $ 12 for that … no way that was worth it … so disappointed. Not sure I’ll be back

This was second time here. First was for a treat from friend. Loved the soft onion kulcha & garlic naan. The butter chicken was mouth watering. But too much color was added. Not sure it was natural /artificial color. Otherwise good experience. Would definitely come by again & recommend to friends.

I went to this place on my prom night with my friends. I’ll be honest if one of my friends haven’t been to this place before I would have never even step food in the place. But I’m glad I did. The people were very friendly, and being in a group of 6 seniors we were loud, but they were very nice to us. The food is amazing I have been craving their food so much lately. Try it. You won’t regret it!

Always nice and polite, buffet is good but we always grab chicken tikki Marsalas and cheese naan, always so delicious, taste exactly like my favorite indian place in Albany, NY! Feel some places have different recipes from different regions, this one is perfect!

Went to the lunch buffet last week. We had been looking for a good buffet since moving here last year. Unfortunately, this did not live up to our expectations. Borderline 2 ½−3 stars. The cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. The white tablecloth on my side had red sauce stains on it. Couldn’t tell if it had been washed and still had stains or if they were recent. The air vents in the ceiling were coated in black gunk as well as surrounding ceiling tiles. That lack of attention to detail always makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. The buffet selection was decent, not as good as our favorite Indian restaurant back in PA. The dishes that had been sitting in the buffet were lukewarm. When they brought new dishes out, those were piping hot like all of the food should have been. The wait staff was nice enough, but two separate people came to our table multiple times yet never cleared our dirty dishes, which we had to pile to the side. While we were there, there were only 2 – 3 other tables, so no reason for the lack of service. Dirty dishes still there when we left. Maybe the menu items are better like other reviewers have stated, but we like the variety of a buffet. And sorry, if the buffets sucks, why would I want to try the menu? A restaurant should strive for consistency after all.

Seriously guys: Order. Off. The. Menu. The buffet is okay if you’re in a hurry but I’ve never had anything that’s knocked my socks off from the buffet: everyone, just like you, is in a hurry-hurry-hurry at lunchtime and eats all the naan and all your favorite dishes and just makes your life rough because you have to wait around and ask for the buffet to be restocked. Go when you have some time. Order off the menu. Sit down with your friends or family and enjoy a leisurely meal. Or order online(double check your spice level if you’re really wedded to it) or on the phone, pick it up and take it home. I promise you won’t be sorry. For reals.

A low 3. Let’s begin with the good stuff. Attentive service. The staff is quite friendly. Riesling is nice and fair priced. Free wifi. Bad thing about here is that I cannot compliment about the food. I was eating off of salad. Normally when I do that is because the vegetarian selection is so boring. Today they are serving Veggie Korma(too thick) and Saag Paneer. Tips if I may, cook something to stand out in a town full of indian/nepalese/himalayan food joints.

A workmate of Indian descent recommended this place as having the best Indian lunch buffet around, so three of us headed here for lunch from work. India-Nepal Oven features a lunch buffet with a small but tasty selection — the standard naan, saag paneer, chicken curry, basmati or white rice, spicy pickle, salad, Tandoori chicken, vegetable pakora and vegetable samosas, and a few other dishes to compliment the selection. I found everything I tried to be tasty, with the caveat that Indian buffets in Denver tend to be under-spiced so as to not scare away unsuspecting American clientele with no taste for the exotic spices common in Indian food. My workmate said that if you come for dinner you can order just about anything from 1 to 10 on the heat scale, and that the staff bills the lunch buffet as a Zero on that scale. I’d love to come back and give it a try in the evening, and will update this review should I have the opportunity.

I came here on recommendation of a friend who actually is Indian and she did not steer me wrong. I am always a sucker for my favorite dish, Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan, and veggie samosa! I tried the lamb vindaloo which was just ok, not great! The other dishes did not disappoint and service was prompt and very good. Nepal serves buffets only during lunch. For dinner, dishes can be on the pricey side, but eating family style is the best way to go. For a party of three we ordered two curry dishes, an appetizer and naan. Each curry dish is accompanied by saffron rice. Don’t be fooled by the small looking portions that the curries come in, they are quite hardy dishes. At the end the bill come out to be $ 13 per person. I would come back to this place but since buffets are always cheaper I’d like to try the buffet next time.
