This review is for anyone having a wedding at this venue. First off, the space is absolutely beautiful. We wanted a DIY space, and this was perfect. The wrap around deck overlooking Fort Pond is awesome, and our guests had only great things to say about it. Huge windows, high ceilings and warm woodwork make for a lovely New England vibe. The ceremony was held right infront of the water, the view was perfect. Working with the venues management, however, is a tad tricky. We wanted a DIY space, but they really take no responsibility, offer zero help, and are borderline cold in their demeanor. You have to be prepared to be the liaison between all your vendors and the venue management, they won’t make much of an effort to coordinate anything(this is not their full time job, so be prepared to resend emails a few times). Also, they won’t sign for anything that’s being delivered(tables, chairs, etc.), which really threw a wrench in our plans the morning of the wedding. The other issue that makes for an unwelcome feeling, is they will watch you like a hawk while setting up, it makes you feel like they’re waiting for you to do something wrong(and trust me, if you do, they’ll pounce). They also only give you one hour to clean up after the wedding, so be prepared to have friends and family help! Again, the space is beautiful and beyond affordable, and easy access form major highways is awesome(but they don’t show up on google maps, which in the year 2015 can be problematic), but it’s clear that management doesn’t really want to be involved. EDIT: since writing this review, I have reached out to the managers of the club to ask about some lost items from he wedding. 3 emails and 11 days later no response. Just a warning, this is the kind of uphill battle you’ll be fighting.

This really is a beautiful place. It has a great relaxed feel. the monthly breakfast are great and it is a perfect place to rent out to hold your private event.

This is stunningly beautiful place for a natural setting wedding and it is near a pond too, so you can have pictures by the water. Heck, maybe you can arrive in style, being rowed in on a boat! For the budget bride who likes something a little different, this place is a find. You can submit a rental inquiry online now(thank goodness), and it includes a set price for the whole/half day, a dining/function hall 1400sq foot, hardwood floors, air conditionining, a fully equipped kitchen(for your caterer of choice), tables and seating(so you don’t have to pay more for rental). I confess, I never got to visit this place since I ended up finding my wedding site at First Parish Church United in Westford, MA, but I obsessed about this place for a long time. The outdoor wedding, the wedding pictures on a lighted deck… you should definitely consider this place if you’re very strict on budget(at the time it was $ 500 for the whole day) but still want to have a beautiful wedding for 100 people or less.
