I started going to a Planned Parenthood clinic in Fort Collins during college, where I realized how great the organization is. When I moved further south, I started going to this location(even though it wasn’t always that close to where I lived– it was worth it). The amazing people who staff this office are always willing to go out of their way to help, regardless of what kind of medical or insurance or prescription thing you have going on. They’ve always been nothing short of spectacular in their kindness and professionalism to me. It’s incredibly easy to make an appointment online for this(or any) PP location, and I recommend that if at all possible– this place can get busy(with good reason).

I drove fifteen miles out of my way to visit this facility after being referred by an urgent care center. I should have called before making the drive – it turned out that their only nurse practitioner was out sick for the day! Fortunately, that ladies at the front desk were very helpful in finding another location that had a same-day appointment available. It was another 20-minute drive to the alternate location, but hey, that’s what I get for expecting to be seen as a walk-in!

I’ve never been to a Planned Parenthood before, so I have nothing to compare my experience to save regular appointments at doctor’s office. The overall experience at PP was fine, but I waited 30 minutes before I was given preliminary paperwork. My time with the nurse’s assistant was probably 15 – 20 minutes, but $ 40 later I had a prescription for birth control. I’m adding one star because they were able to prescribe the exact pill I’ve been on the past several years — no need to switch, and that was great. I would go back for other services, but will definitely be sure to plan for a long appointment!
