Five Star Movers

I was moving from Davis to San Diego, PODS quoted $ 2700 for just one POD and a mega moving company quoted over $ 4000.00. I just couldn’t see it.
I rented a 26-​foot UHaul for my 3-​bedroom house which probably had a below average amount of furniture. I seriously thought I was going to drive the truck myself. Haha. I couldn’t even get it to the gas station without help.
On a UHaul affiliate website I found Daniel. For a price per mile to drive, and a price per hour to load and unload, I could save over $ 2000.00. It was risky — thinking I could get everything into 26-​feet, but I was prepared to leave some things behind.
Daniel quoted me a price for all the services, and was determined to stay in that price point. On packing day they showed up on time and prepared with dollies. They CAREFULLY and quickly loaded the truck and fit my 1900-​square-​foot home into 26-​feet of truck. I left behind a chair, a cat-​tree and a wine fridge that was on the fritz anyway … it was TOTALLY worth it!
On arrival they unloaded in about 2-​hours. Nothing was broken, they were professional and friendly. This is a GREAT option in the right circumstances (ability to fit in a rental truck) and I highly recommend this company.

Daniel and Lyle were extremely professional and hardworking, I would recommend them to anyone! They even moved our giant wine fridge down a flight of stairs with no issue. I was extremely impressed with their service!

Once again I have used this company an have had wonderful results. .they maybe cheap an affordable but they do a damn good job at safely moving my personal belongings

Best moving company I have ever used. They loaded my truck in Sacramento and drove it to live oak for me and unloaded the truck in the pouring rain and never once complained. Will use them again here n a few weeks when I move into a house.
