Good but not great pizza, good service and good prices

Ok so it’s not gourmet pizzas but it’s a quick, healthier alternative. As long as that’s kept in mind, you’ll enjoy their thin crust delights. They just added spicy fennel. Not totally impressed with it. Processed look to it, tastes alright. They could make it more whole foods like the other ingredients.
All in all, a good pick if you’re looking for a healthier option of pizzas.

Great service, great pizza, great location, great amount of toppings in the pizza. We were very satisfied!

Papa Murphy’s has become our pizza of choice in the last couple of years. The reasons:
— Their pizza’s are tasty and loaded with ingredients. Our kids like the straight-​up cheese pizza, my wife and I experiment with various specials, like the delightful chicken bacon artichoke pizza. We often get a half and half — ½ cheese, ½ «whatever the grownups want.»
— It is inexpensive — we rarely pay more than $ 10 (with coupon or their various deals).
— The service is fast and friendly — no waiting 45 minutes for a pizza to be delivered.
— they honor coupons without a fuss, including online coupons (we have used the Unilocal checkin coupon for free cookie dough on more than one occasion).
— finally, and IMO the reason they’re able to deliver on the first few, their «we make it, you bake it» business model. This transfers the choice of how and when to make the pizza to the customer, and we have not had a cold or under/​over baked pizza in a long time.
So if you haven’t given PM a try, go for it!

So the previous night I ordered 2 pizzas and asked for one of them to be family sized. Upon pick up I never checked the receipt or the order. It wasn’t till I got home that a realized the mistake. Both my pizzas were large and they had forgotten to family size one. I called them to complain and the guy who had originally taken my order and made my pizza remembered and apologized. He then offered me a coupon upon my next visit. So I came back to get another pizza since I didn’t feel like cooking again. They originally didn’t want to give me a coupon understandably but after checking something in the back they happily gave it to me. It’s nice to know customer service is is a priority with them alongside quality.

I order one of those heart shaped pizzas on Friday for Valentine’s Day. Although it tasted good, it looked nothing like a heart. :(

I had been craving pizza all day, so by the time I got home from work I knew that’s what I would be ordering. However, I didn’t feel like spending tons of money and I was also feeling adventurous and wanted to try a new place. After reviewing pizza places on Unilocal and never having tried Papa Murphy’s, I thought, perfect. I’ll give them a try. They definitely seemed to fit the bill if what I was looking for.
I didn’t know if they made the pizzas as ordered or if they already had then ready to go for pickup, so instead of ordering by phone I jut went in. As it turns out, they make it fresh in front of you. Awesome. I ordered both the Veggie Delite and the Gourmet Chicken. Both were absolutely delicious.!! In fact they were so tempting even before they were baked that I was picking the mozzarella off while I was waiting for the oven to heat up, haha :)
The reason I took one star off is because the girl at the register was not friendly at all. Not rude by any means, but not at all welcoming and did not smile once. When I walked up to her I had to greet her and ask ‘how are you’, an her only response was, «Good.» Really. At least say hello back. Anyway after all is said and done and eaten, I will definitely go back. Great pizza at a totally affordable price.
**tip– if you order two pizzas like I did, best to be patient and bake them separately. I was super hungry so I cooked them both one rack on top of the other and the top pizza was still a little doughy in the middle.

We eat a lot of pizza in my house. We try to cook as much as possible. But sometimes after a long work day, we are just too tired. We always have frozen pizzas on hand and do Little Caesars sometimes. But when I sent my boyfriend out for pizza, he came home with Papa Murphys. I had never had it before. We fired up the oven to 425 and in 18 minutes had some pretty yummy pizza. It’s much better than frozen and way better than Little Caesars. And for $ 10 for a large combination, a really good deal too.
We will be back for sure.

Situation: I recently wanted a pizza, was too tired to cook, and didn’t want to pay a fortune or eat a pool full of grease.
Solution: Papa Murphy’s.
I ordered the Meat Lover Pizza (minus beef, awkward?) and the Cheesy Bread Sticks. The guy on the phone was friendly and instructed me that my order would be ready for pickup in 15 minutes. When I got there, he let me know that because of my selections, i was eligble for a free liter of soda: win! And he didn’t have to tell me, I really wouldn’t have known otherwise, which was very nice of him.
Took the pizza home, snagged some snacks off of the top of the Meat Lovers before throwing it in the oven, and waaahhlahhh, out came some delicious cheesy bread and a fantastic meat pizza, all for around $ 15 (for a large pizza mind you).
Great Value. Great Deal. And plenty of leftovers.

Customer service has always been awesome here. Yes, they are young kids, but it IS a pizza place. From when I call to when I pickup they have always been polite and nice. That’s one of the reasons I like coming here. I usually mooch ranch dressing off of them (which I’m sure everyone knows is awesome for pizza dipping) and they always go the extra mile. The pizza is probably 3 stars. Nothing amazing, but it gets the job done. And the price is right.

This Papa Murphys location is my favorite. Staff is friendly, I dont EVER feel rushed, Instead, Im greeted by a someone who is patient and dosent make it hard for me to choose when i just cant decide. WHAT PLEASES ME MOST… Its sooo CLEAN IN THERE! And I appreciate that along with a good pizza pie that everyone At home enjoys, and looks forward to Pizza nite frm Papa Murphys. Good work! A+

Use Papa Murphy’s often for happy hour and other parties. Many times people like it so much they ask where it came from. We often get the delight style which has a lot less calories. The people working here are always friendly and service is very good.

This is the joint I send the husband to on the nights I had to work late. It was the only thing he could cook! He isn’t as picky as me so don’t know about the customer service. Love that I get coupons in the mail, every time we use one and get either the cheesy bread or cookie dough on the side and it’s still like 12 bucks! I think you can’t beat that. It has never tasted bad ever, always delish! If you do have time, you can call ahead so you don’t have to wait. Or if you’re like me you can order, and then run into Lucky to grab something in between!

Ok, so I have two little ones, both like light sauce. I ask the kid who was taking my order to do a large with light sauce on HALF the pizza. He assured me that there was no possible way for me to identify which side had light sauce. I was speechless for about 5 seconds. My brain full of thoughts about this kid and his future. How he will support a family when he grows up. What kind of politician he will vote for. What kind of drugs he was on, or looking forward to after work. I regained my composure and asked him «since your putting pepperoni on it, can you put a row of pepperoni down the divided sauce line»? He became very frustrated with me, said it will be 15 minutes, and while I was saying «ok, thanks see you then» he hung up. I sped up to get there ASAP because I was afraid that he was going to «give me a surprise in my pizza». As soon as I walked in, I knew which one I talked to. OK, so the pizza is done, and I was keeping one eye on him to make sure he didnt cough on my pizza. He shows me the pizza, and teh row of pepperoni is covered with cheese and olives. He says «I told you that there would be no way to tell which side the light sauce is on». Again, my brain full of thoughts and simpathy for Dennis. Wondering why he couldent put a row of olives down the dividing line. Or a small line on the cardboard pan that the pizza lays on that indicated where the line was. Or take those sizers that are sitting there by the register, and make a small cut on the cardboard. You need to think outside the box young man. Be creative. Try to impress people instead of disappointing them. So, two strikes and your out kid. Dennis. You missed an opportunity to be creative and go beyond the call of duty to help a customer. Guys like you will be washing my kids cars, cleaning their toilets, and bussing their tables in ten years. We’re in a recession jack ass, and if you worked for me, I would fire you. Your boss should have figured it out that you are a punk by now. Times are tuff kid, my employees go the extra mile, speak kindly to our customers. They know where their paycheck comes from, and it’s not Obama. It’s our customers. Small business baby. Small business. Good luck kid. Fellow Unilocalers, dont punish the owner, support local business. It is hard to hire good help these days when the government pays people to stay unemployed.

I like Papa Murphy’s pizza. Their ingredients are fresh and the price is reasonable. In our area, we regularly get coupons, which makes it even more desirable. However, I’m giving a two star rating, for THIS location because they don’t accept their own gift card!!! I brought in a gift card and they told me that their system is not set up to take their own Papa Murphy’s gift card. I was quite disappointed.
Update: They do accept gift cards now.

I had a fresh salad made because they didn’t have any premade, and I just to eat it (went in the fridge shortly after buying it) and 60% of the lettuce was browning. How disappointing. :(

They take «Food stamps» and since you don’t have a job and other people have to take care of you. This is your best bet.

I love this place! We get the veggie supreme pizza with a side of ranch for dipping. It is like a salad on a pizza — sounds gross but there are tons of freah veggies and a flavorful white sauce. The concept is genius — pick up a made to order pie and bake it at home!

3 stars for now because the pizza was good. I didn’t actually go into the location (hubby picked it up), but the pizza was pretty tasty. We got the Chicago Style pizza. Yum! I’ll update when we go back!

I know… I can’t believe I am reviewing a Papa Murphys shop but I had to express how great the customer service was here tonight.
I called to ask about their specials… the guy on the line was polite and friendly to me… I could tell he was a teenage kid and he was still very professional *scores points there*
Showed up with my Mom and Grandma (who was paying! Yeahh!) and ordered our pizzas. Half way through waiting, I realized my Aunt wanted the garlic sauce rather then the red sauce on one of the pizzas! UH OH! I totally forgot. My Mom asked the girl making pizzas if it was too late to change the order. She was totally cool about it and said No Problem! She re-​made a new pizza for us quickly and we were out the door with a 49er Special, the Jack-​o-​Latern special for my little cousins and some Cinnamon sticks.
They had about 7 teenage high school kids working in this shop and of course Homecoming and boys were the topics of discussion while we were waiting but they were really cool! The did their job and were not mad when we asked about changing the sauce. Okay… so I don’t hate teenagers so much anymore!
