This place is a great place to study or work. Free wifi and plenty of plugs as well as areas to sit(two rooms and an expansive patio). Their food and drinks were inexpensive and fresh. Note: this coffee shop is connected to a church. Religious music was playing in the coffee shop and a group was briefly singing together in the hall outside. Neither were overbearing but as a nonreligious person myself I would recommend bring earphones it that isn’t your thing. Staff and customers alike were friendly. 10% student discount with ID. I would stop by again.

I needed a place to get some work done, and this was perfect! Right by the front entrance to the church, two different lounge rooms and a patio to choose from. Great prices on drinks, and they have sandwiches too. It wasn’t too crowded or loud which was really nice, seems like a place that church small groups meet to talk. I do not attend this church, so no bias here!

A cute gem. Warm inviting area with lots of comfy seats. The staff is always super sweet. I stop by on my way to work for tea or coffee and I can’t resist their scones — amazing! The prices are reasonably low, so not much else you can ask for.

Inexpensive but quality coffee. Tastes great but still a great cup. Great seating and a warm feel. Located next to/within the Cornerstone church but a separate entity itself. Cozy place with good coffee.

Full disclosure: I attend church here so I’m fairly biased that it’s a place folks should go. But here’s what I’ll say and hope it’ll be helpful… Free wifi. If you go to Las Positas, check it out. They give a student discount. If you go to Costco and you a café drink, stop in. So close, walking distance. I’ve used it primarily to meet with people. It’s a good place for that. You can sit in the café, couches and tables, on the porch, or in the church lobby(huge) with lots of little gathering spaces. The workers are friendly and knowledgable. The price is fair. There is a decent little book /CD area.

Great place for coffee and the people here are very nice. Located in the Cornerstone church with an entrance just outside the front door. Free wi-fi and lots of space to unwind. Also has a small bookstore. Serves Starbucks coffee. I love supporting this coffee shop as it helps support the local community.

This place is old school meets new school. Great coffee and amazing service with books and magazines and NO attitude. Just what we always want in a coffeeshop and no 7 dollar mocha chino half calf soy mint dry foam nutmeg blah blah blah

I love coming to this café to meet with people, pick up a drink, or even read. The wifi sometimes has problems, but that is only if there is a flood of people trying to use the wifi at the same time. I never use the wifi on Sundays in between services.

Great place for coffee, tea, iced and blended drinks! Great for doing homework and studying. Parchments offers a quiet and always positive atmosphere! Las Po students also get 20% off which is awesome!

Take a very friendly staff paired with an inviting atmosphere and you’ve got Parchments Café! They care quick to serve you, but the environment encourages you to take your time and stay a while. Not to mention the coffee drinks are right up there with the bigger name cafes… Delish!

Awhile back I wasn’t too fond of the coffee but it has improved greatly! They give Las Positas students discounts which is sweet! Good coffee, small selection of books & music, great atmosphere(very chill & friendly), & also a really good meeting or study place!

I like to support the local businesses as much as the next gal. But I think that Parchments is «meh» at best. The café is associated with the non-denominational church, Cornerstone Fellowship. Just to be clear, my lack of appreciation for organized religion has nothing to do with my mediocre review for this coffee joint. So, don’t send me hate notes, religious zealots! The coffee itself is just ok. AND they refuse to deliver on Wednesdays when I have the majority of my large meetings/webcasts. Not useful, Parchments! As an aside, I call the swill they serve«Jesus coffee». I’m pretty sure I’m going to hell for that.
