Winterose Training

I was referred to Cora through a client of hers that I happened to meet at a business event. I saw very quickly that I had landed with a high quality person/​instructor. Cora is extremely knowledgeable (like a horse whisperer!), patient, intuitive through her vast experience, and is a highly skilled instructor. Her teaching style is effective and you develop the skills you need to be a good rider at any level. There are no short cuts. She is truly «the real deal,» has provided me with the best instruction, knows the path we need to take, and I have a quality lesson horse. As the business owner she also helps her clients with leases and horse purchases (and more). I take comfort in knowing that Cora will be the person I work with for any of our transactions; lessons, training, leasing, horse purchase, stabling, etc. I know I can trust her, and in business and as her student/​client, that says a lot!
She is also a beautiful rider! More people need to know about her.

I first met Cora when she was working as an assistant trainer 13 years ago. She brought out the best in my stubborn, difficult horse. I still have, and love, that horse, which many trainers would have given up on. Cora continues to be a good friend and mentor. I’ve watched her over the years work very difficult horses and bring out the best in them as well. She’s patient with her range of clients, from adults wanting to get back into riding to children just starting out. Cora is a beautiful equitation rider who will make sure you have a firm foundation for jumping. She cares about clients and horses, treating both with respect. She’s very professional, prompt and yet giving of her time to make sure her clients have the best experience possible.

Winterose training has given my daughter an enriched equestrian experience. Cora Treadway-​Cook is a brilliant mentor. She is kind, patient, and intuitive. She easily recognizes when it is time to give my daughter another challenge and push her to the next level. I couldn’t be more pleased with her training style and my daughter’s success.
