I would give this place 3 stars. It seems to be a locally own staple which is nice. There’s a very extensive menu, and offers loads of catering. Staff here is always very friendly. The food however I believe is hit or miss. It’s also pricey for certain items, like 12 dollar sandwiches which are roughly half at most places. For instance I find the turkey I had to be very dry and tasteless but have had decent breakfast platters. I’ll be back, but not not frequently.

Great tasting food and good people serving it. I stopped by on the way back home. Picked up a sandwich. Loved it.

Horrible!!! I tried to place a catering order for our office, the girl that picked up the phone was so rude, I could not believe she would talk to anyone that way. We are an office in town that orders lots of lunches from them, will not be using them again. There are plenty of places in town that will take our catering orders and treat us with respect.

I. Love. This. Place. Everything you want a deli to be — and it’s much, much more than a deli. Everything from breakfast to sandwiches to soups to burgs to take-out dinner dishes is scrumptious. One is better than the next. And you can hang there as long as you want. They make you feel like a regular from the first visit and now that I am a regular I try to send as many people there as possible. You’ll not find a better place around. You guys ROCK!

This is a great little place! Tried to go to breakfast but none of our choices were open. Thankfully Argyle was just down the street and I had heard good things about it. The atmosphere and décor is casual. They have a «home town deli» kind of feel with the self serve coffee and the super friendly staff. We both got the challah french toast, which was excellent. I definitely plan on going back to try their other yummy looking sandwiches and salads. Only down side is their tiny parking lot but it seems like most people get take out anyway and the turn over is quick.

I’ve lived down the street from this little gem and didn’t realize it until just recently. One of my coworkers suggested we order in from there and I’m so glad we listened! The menu is large and there are options for everyone’s needs and desires. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. They also have a unique, eclectic store with a little grocery area like the true delis have. Whether it’s dine in for a quick meal or take out, you surely are going to get a great meal. Don’t miss it as you’re driving down Northfield. The parkinglot is tough to access sometime, but it’s worth the stop!

This is for breakfast delivery. Food is fresh and hot when it gets there and it’s yummy! They have saved me a time or two breakfast wise!

Good food good portions. Today I asked for 2 chicken meatballs, if I can purchase them individually instead of a dinner. The server said, yes, sure. He then charged me a full dinner price without asking. Quite disappointing.

Decent salad place, very friendly staff. I had a good time interacting with them and the price is very reasonable. I got two salads which were prepared very quickly, and tasted great .the location of the store is also very convenient. All in all, not a bad experience

Work next door and it’s a great, go to place to have lunch, everyone there is wonderful and they give you huge portions of food for your buck, I think I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. Always nice to see everyone and I make sure to stop in to say hello even walking by… There matzoh ball soup is my FAVORITE!

Disappointed. Waited a very long time for two salads. When finally finished, the salad maker puts them on top of the counter. I asked for a bag as holding two plastic containers filled with salad out the door is an invitation to drop and have an accident. This seemed like a reasonable request. He takes the salads all the way up to the front(I had to go to the front earlier to pay) and they sit on the counter while the older counter guy gabbed with another customer. Finally, he takes care of me while my salads were waiting, and I asked that they be put in a bag. His answer” What do you think I am going to do? I have been working here XXX number of years”. Rude. After waiting so long for the salads to be prepared, and simply asking for a bag, I wasn’t prepared for such a rude response. Also, it is expensive. Will not be going back.

Skimpy .I ordered 2 subs with cheese and they literally cut 1 piece of cheese in half. And not a much meat.

The food is good, but not amazing. Their prices are high and they don’t throw in any extras(chips, side salad, etc). In fact, the last time I ate there, they have me the tiniest piece of pickle with my sandwich. With their steep prices, they could put a little more into the accompaniments. Today, I stopped in for lunch with my coupon. I spent the necessary $ 10 and when I went to pay, I was told that they are no longer accepting the coupons. I understand that they have the right not to accept the coupon, but the least you can do is put a sign in the window! If I knew they were not accepting the coupon, I would have gone somewhere else. The owner didn’t even seem to care that I was inconvenienced. Again, I hoped for something as an apology. Maybe a bag of chips or dessert, something other than, «you will have to call the company to get a refund.» I’ll be patronizing other businesses that are better priced and have better customer service.

I was curious as to how good this spot was after reading the reviews. I was not impressed. I’ve gotta say, the Italian Sub ranks as one of the worst sandwiches I have had. I also ordered a burger. I definitely asked for it to be well done, it comes rare. Very unlikely to order here again.

I went here for lunch with some family, and my son’s grilled cheese was perfect. Tasty, buttery, lots of sharp cheese, so good! The adults all raved about their subs, and the people in the deli were so eager to greet us, help us, check on us, everything. I cannot overstate the friendliness and helpfulness of all the employees! The prepared food in the cases looks wonderful too. I’ll definitely make Argyle a regular stop!

Argyle has updated it’s look a bit. More restaurant/deli than corner store. Great food. Especially salads and specials. Need to pick up dinner? Stop here.

I was in the area and didn’t have time for breakfast before leaving my house so I drove around the area while waiting for some family at St. Barnabas and came across this deli/marketplace. All I have to say is thank goodness I decided to grab something to go from here rather than eat at the diner across the street. I walked in and thought to myself this is different than a regular deli; they had some groceries, a wide selection of drinks and snacks(some Italian cookies that looked fresh) and an extensive menu. They even had food laid out in cases similar to Wegman’s such as Chicken Francaise and Turkey Meatloaf; all of which looked so good and the quantities were huge! I ended up ordering the Argyle Breakfast Wrap on a bagel, which by the way the bagel looked so good and tasted fresh, with turkey bacon. When I got the sandwich I was amazed on the size/quantity and it was by far the BEST breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! If this sandwich is any indication of the rest of their menu, I am definitely going to be going out of my way to visit the Argyle Marketplace again and again! Here’s to the owner and staff on their quality food and service, bueno appetito!
