If you want to improve the appearance of your scarring, go to Dr. Sciales. I went to him based on a rave review from my aunt. I’m an incoming medical student and had done a ton of research on lasers for chest scarring (specifically raised scars). Basically, I went in and told him the lasers I wanted and he was respectful in slowing me down, telling me about the risks, and ended up recommending a procedure that my insurance covered. Dr. Sciales gave me injections and a cream. The scars I had for over 10 years are now 80−90% better. After leaving his office I felt frustrated with the other derms I visited who recommended lasers that would cost over 1K when a simple fix was covered by my insurance. Also, the lasers could have exacerbated the raised scarring, a risk that some of the other derms didn’t discuss with me. I recommend him very, very strongly.

Update: I went to Dr. Glatt’s office in Morristown and could not be happier with my results!!! He’s extremely good, and his staff is curteous, professional and very pleasant to work with. I may have paid a little extra, but it was worth the money for a pleasant experience.
