Finally found a place that has taken the time, every time, to understand my taste. Always on the mark! I love the personal attention. Michael, the gracious owner, Ray, my personal connoisseur have me walking out with several fine bottles each week. I love my weekly indulgence!

Had the good fortune of finding this place while en route to a party in Locust Valley and in need of a bottle (FYI the «partner» store ‘Curds and Whey’ is also a great shop). Owner was very knowledgeable and helped me find a great bottle at my price point. The selection was also great for such a physically small shop.
Having left with such a good taste in my mouth, I contacted the owner again regarding possibly supplying champagne favors (splits) for my upcoming wedding. I reached out to Michael Chait and discussed my ideas for the champagne. He was more than receptive and did a lot of leg work researching and ordering various bottles for me to consider. After ultimately deciding, the ordering process went through without a hitch and the bottles were a success.
It was a pleasure doing business with Marquis, and I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Village liquor store.
So– a new place opened a week back in the village and they do not have that coveted liquor license yet. Marquis is the benefactor of that!
The selection is good, but it is a small place so what they have is still pretty good considering the size of the place. The prices are a little steep — but so is most everything else up here.
Knowledgeable guy behind the counter — gets you in and out in a jiff.
