They have a tasting room in downtown lodi(follow the signs.) Fun people obviously doing what they love. I really like some of their wines, the syrah port, the petite sarah and the old vine zin are favorites. Stop by, have a taste and take home a bottle or two. If you are from out of town they will ship your order or you can place an order on their website.

I love this winery. I love this winery. We’ve gone probably nine months in between visits and they still recognize us. Its small, nothing mass produced. They have mostly reds, but have added a few whites in the last few years. I recently bought their 07 Zin and absolutely loved it. It had some unique flavors that made it a great stand alone wine that does not need food to go with it.

Everything is pretty good across the board. Nothing is amazing, but nothing is bad. They usually have some good sales on cases making the reasonable prices even better. If you can get a case to bring the bottle cost below the $ 10 mark as I have a few times, grab it! Anything more than about $ 15 – 20 and I would have to consider something else.

Grands Amis now has their tasting room downtown. They have a small tasting room but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their wine is great too! I’m not a big fan of port but their port is really good and the bottle is beautiful… makes an excellent gift! Prices are reasonable, between $ 15 — $ 25 for a bottle and wine tasting is free!
