Inntiquity A Country Inn

Do not go here. Our review is a little late posting but we made reservations here. I spoke with the lady owner who was very nice. We added a package that included a candlelight dinner and verified that the room selected was part of that package. We also paid for a dozen chocolate covered strawberries. When we arrived we waited 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. We were taken to our room where we had 9 not 12 strawberries waiting. The husband owner came to our room and started yelling at his wife that this room wasn’t one that went with our package when we had been assured it was. The owner would not budge and honor what we were told. He was very angry saying it wasn’t possible to give us that room because he would lose too much money on the dinner. The wife tried to offer us another room and we did look at it and was going to accept. When we came back downstairs we heard the husband yelling at his wife about this mistake and he would not give us a room. We said forget it and that we wanted our money back. So… when she goes to refund our money instead she charges us 3 more times and had to get her daughter to come do the refund who was very rude the whole time. I was shocked at the way we were treated!!!

We had a family reunion in Logansport and one of the cousins reserved the inn for our meal. We where really looking forward to the food and festivities. We also paid extra to have a bartender available to server adult libations to those who wanted them (more on this latter).
The reservation was for around 25, and we had a couple of choices on the main course and the desert. Food was ok, but not fantastic. As for setup, they didn’t set up the room correctly, and they put another big group next to us.
They then made us pay extra after the meal for drinks that had been paid for. We were not happy with the way we where treated. I will never go back.

Antiques everywhere, journals in the rooms, rooms were wonderful, they have a library, I really felt like I was in a mansion back in the 1950’s (I really loved the feel of the entire house.) We had access to a wrap around balcony which was fun because our family was in the neighboring room and we did not have to go through the house to visit them. The next morning we went down to breakfast and realized that there 12 people lodging here. (we did not hear anyone all night). The breakfast was to die for. We had French toast that was coated with pecans; it was like candy for breakfast. The only think that I saw that needed some work was the landscaping. Other than that it was perfect.
