Frontera Mex-Mex Grill

This makes me sad to say this, but Frontera in Loganville has really gone down hill. It took two hours to get our lunch specials and finish eating. They just don’t have the staff they need in the kitchen or for serving. The food was okay not good. One in our party ordered the ceviche and sent it back as the fish was spoiled. I will say that the servers are friendly and the restrooms were well maintained.

Walked in and was going to sit at the bar, but it was full of dirty dishes. All the while, no less than 6 employees are standing at the hostess station doing NOTHING. We were sat in the back near the kitchen, even though we were the 2^nd table of the evening. The entire time we were there, it was like sitting in a High school cafeteria because all the servers were yelling and playing. My husband ordered a beer and it was hot. We ask for a colder mug or different beer. He was brought back the same mug, the same beer and the server said ‘I just topped it off’. Food was decent though!

We are from Indiana and came in town for Thanksgiving. We came here Wednesday and we are back again today. This place is DELICIOUS! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the place was either under staffed or staffed with people who didn’t like to help each other out. At least 2 different parties stood at the front waiting to be seated for a very long time and ended up leaving because no one came to greet them– even though they were looking right at them! Several other parties stood at the front for quite a while as well as the different people who worked there would glance at them but not go up and greet them. But like I said, the food is delicious and we personally had no trouble being seated. We shall see how today goes!

I didn’t really a problem with the place I’ve been here a few times. But I got my taco today and it looked like someone took a bite out of the taco.

Upon arriving we were promptly seated by the General Manager working the Hostess Station (I should have known there would be problems when the GM was working the Hostess Station). We waited 15 minutes before I flagged down the GM to see if we had a waiter… He didn’t bother bringing over a waiter he just took our drink and food order. My wife and I were sharing a meal and asked for an extra plate when the food arrived. After a few minutes of not receiving a plate my wife got up and went back to the kitchen to get a plate. Someone I assume was our waiter eventually came by and asked if we needed anything… I just smiled and said, «check please»…The food was average and the service was terrible. There are too many good Mexican restaurants in the area to waste your time and hard earned money going to this place.

I’ve heard pretty terrible things about this location, but I live near by so I decided to give it a chance. It was the weekend and relatively busy, which I understand. I sat at the bar to save time and the bartender (the blonde one) seemed to know what she was doing. However, on multiple occasions, I overheard her gossiping and saying awful things about customers to waitresses at the end of the bar. The situation made me feel very uncomfortable while I was supposed to be enjoying a meal. I’m just shocked at the amount of disrespect by so-​called adults. The food/​service was mediocre, but I will never be returning. I suggest if you want to avoid this type of mistreatment then you do the same

I don’t know what it is with Fronteras. I have eaten a few across town and never been really satisfied. The one in Loganville is an absolute disaster. I have been to this one a couple of times now and every time it is pretty bad. My wife likes Frontera so we keep trying it.
The last time I went I had a California Burrito with carnitas. The carnitas were almost all fat and there was barely any of it to begin with. The rest of the burrito was terrible. Honestly I would have had a better meal at Moe’s and for less money. For over $ 9 I got just the burrito.
My wife got a fajitas quesidilla and they manged to put the wrong meat in it. After looking at the receipt we found that it was the server that screwed that up. But even that was pretty tasteless.
Overall there are better Mexican in Loganville. There’s actually one in the same shopping center. Do your self a favor and go to one of those.
The funny part is they want you to check in on Unilocal and leave a review. There’s a sign on the front door saying you get a free cheese dip if you do. Didn’t check in but honestly why would you encourage people to look on Unilocal when they have such bad reviews?

Horrible place! They reuse chips which is beyond disgusting. Horrible service and too pricey for very mediocre food. I would rather go to Taco Bell. I always shake my head when I see the crowded parking lot. I just don’t understand how that many people could want to go.

Horrible service, We elected to sit outside on patio then after 25 minutes we came inside in hopes of acquiring some sort of service. The girl at hostess stand looked at us like we were invisible. We sat ourselves, 4 of us, and finally a waitress took our order, we waited another 10 – 15 minutes with no drinks and no refill on chips. We got up and walked out. This was a place we use to frequent but not anymore.
