I’d recommend the chicken pesto burger. I’d gobble this up right away because it loses its flavor if you take your time. The salad bar was disappointing, it’s cold and old. The quantity you pay for your meal isnt worth the lack of quality.

I like studying here at night because sometimes I can’t concentrate if the environment was completely silent, AKA the library. The downside is that sometimes people go there at night and are talking and laughing a lot louder than the normal volume. It’s really frustrating when it’s obvious people are trying to study at night. I understand it’s not a library but I personally think it’s being disrespectful to others when everyone is studying and you’re laughing at the top of your lungs. That being said, on Sundays sometimes they play football and basketball games on the big projector screens. It totally depends on who’s working at that time. Sometimes the workers just turn it on and leave so there is no one to turn it off when the game is over or tell someone to keep it down. Everyone fights for the outlets since there is not a lot around, so I usually bring a power strip and just share it with whoever needs an outlet. I love eating here on Tuesdays for lunch because they make pasta in front of you Chipotle style, where you choose what you want inside your pasta dish, sauces, veggies, etc. They give you a huge portion and the price is definitely cheap for the amount of food you receive. The place is open until 1am during the school year but only 11am during the summer.

Definitely a great place to study! There are an arsenal of tables that you can choose to study at as well as many couches and sofas if you’re feeling like you need to relax a bit. If you are able to find an outlet, lucky you! I do recommend bringing a powerstrip and share the love because there aren’t many outlets to plug in for your computer.

This place is a cafeteria during the day and a study hall during the night! And on Sundays they watch football with the big screen projector! Don’t forget to bring your headphones if you don’t plan on watching the game. Good place to study since they open late. Not many places around Loma Linda are open this late(0100), unless you want to study at Manna Donuts(open 24 hrs)

I’ve been coming for the last two years during my masters program. I’ve never been disappointed. Everything is veggie and vegan options. There’s a reason this is deemed as the blue zone! If your in the area come check it out!

I’m a regular here. During my lunch hour I find myself at least once a week grabbing food to go. I occasionally stop here for breakfast on my way to work. I’m a vegetarian so the options are endless. Non vegetarians can also enjoy dining here. The food is well prepared, tastes amazing and the staff are very friendly.
Located in the Student Center at Loma Linda, this place can be budget friendly, but I think it can also be a bit pricey as well because most of the food items are sold based on weight(so you can easily see how pricing for lunch can easily add up). The food here is a hit or miss, depending on what day you stop by(Indian, Mexican, Asian, Italian and so on on different days). Everything is self serve here. There is also pizza(2 – 3 different ones to pick from), made to order veggie burgers(there are a few different types) & a salad bar(like that there are dark leafy greens here) served every day. By the way, all dining establishments on LLU’s campus is vegetarian and caffeine free(since this is a religious school, Seven Day Adventist abstain from meat, alcohol, caffeine food items). The dining area here is pretty clean. Usually on Wednesdays, there is usually a long line after chapel. But in general, the lines can be a little long around noon time(Wednesdays are a bit longer). If you show you student ID, you get a discount(I believe 10% off). You can pay with cash, credit card or your student ID. There are plenty of tables and chairs and couches to sit right in front of this dining area. Overall, food is okay and pricing seems affordable(but can get costly if you don’t become mindful and aware of what you are piling on your plate). And considering that there are only a very few number of dinning options on campus, this gets the job done of feeding you.

If they have the pasta bowl, it is definitely worth the wait!

Absolutely wonderful place to go for a vegetarian meal. There are so many options that are both tasty and affordable. Wednesdays are Indian Food Day and I have to say it is my favorite day of the week at the Councilors Student Pavilion Dining! Being a nutrition and dietetics student, I love the option we have to portion out our own food and get a variety of everything being offered that day. Great for a student budget!

The vegetarian food is plentiful in selection and quality. This is the perfect place to eat healthfully as well as being yummy. I really like being able to select from the hot bar and the salad bar and being able to pay by weight. I try to eat a moderate sized meal and this way I pay for what I can eat, unlike the waste all-u-can eat encourages. I highly recommend this cafeteria for those who want to manage portion control.
