It’s FREE! The Lombard Spray Park is maintained by the Park District and it’s a nice little spot in downtown Lombard. There’s adjacent parking and a two picnic tables covered by an awning.
The spray spouts are pretty tame. Many just jet out of the ground. It’s fenced-​in and opens at 10. Other than the picnic tables there isn’t any other seating. A big plus is the full bathroom with running water. It was pretty clean the day we visited. There’s also a pop machine for cold drinks. There’s nothing spectacular about this place, it’s basically between an apartment complex and a bank so there isn’t much space for anything other than the splash area. But you’re close to some good eats like Bricks Pizza just across the street.
Nice spot to stop when we’re running errands in the area and the sidekick (and mom) needs a break to cool off from the summer heat.
