I have been buying their products for several months now. The hamburger is good and the chicken and pork chops are amazing. I also get their eggs and milk. Everything is high quality, which I can tell from the taste, texture and the satiated feeling I have after I eat this food — I don’t have to eat nearly as much to feel satisfied due to the high nutritional content. I really enjoy talking with Tom about their products, he is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I can tell he really cares about what he is doing. These people are our modern day heroes — support them!

This review is for the lack of knowledge from the seller at the Old Town Orange Farmer’s Market. I knew I should’ve gone with my gut, but I took her advice and got the chuck steak cut. NOTGOOD! She really didn’t know what the other cuts were either. Ugh… such a waste of money. Recommendation to owners and operators of Dey Dey’s: please instruct your sellers to learn the cuts and how best to prepare them. That knowledge will ensure repeat customers. I’ll stick with other suppliers or hey, even Costco has great prime beef and their butchers at least know how to help customers pick someone out! Maybe I’ll try one of their better cuts and update my review. Just so disappointed!

Bought Dey Dey’s top sirloin at the Beverly Hillls Farmers Market yesterday and cooked it last night. I couldn’t have been more dissapointed. It was the toughest sirloin I have ever had and one of the two different pieces had a gamey taste as well. At any price I would have returned it to the merchant, but this wasn’t possible from a Farmer’sMarket. That was my first and last experience. I was embarrassed as well, since my guest was a chef. Plain and simple… yuck!

My #1 source for 100% grass fed beef! :) Also like their pastured chicken/eggs and looking forward to the soy free chicken/eggs that they are working on!

I’ve been buying beef from Dey Dey’s at the Studio City’s farmers market. When they first started selling beef there it tasted AMAZING. The ribs and filet mignon would melt in your mouth. Once they changed packers about a year ago the beef hasn’t tasted the same. When I make ribs now, they always burn and are about 50% fat.(When you are paying $ 15 of a piece of ribs you want to be able to eat the whole thing, not give half to the dog.)
