LOVE this place!!! The owner is super sweet which makes going there even more of a pleasure. My favorite place to shop now that I’m living in Derry. There is such a large selection of items you really need to pace yourself so you don’t miss anything. Go to fast… and you’ll miss out… which may come in handy for people like me! ;). The place is set up beautifully. It almost makes me not want to buy anything because she’s put so much care into setting things up… but then I grab something and ruin her perfect display! Lol. Anyway this place is awesome… if you haven’t been here… you have to go at least once. I guarantee you’ll return though.

I live near this shop, and have driven by countless times. A friend of mine found a great piece for her home there last year, so I finally stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon, looking to just browse and kill some time. So happy I did! I can’t believe this place has been less than 2 miles from me for years, and I never went in. So fun to browse around — the selection is amazing, from well-loved sentimental ‘junk’ to really high-end decorator pieces. There was some beautiful quality antique furniture —, and the owner(Patty, I think, from reading other reviews) was exceptionally knowledgeable and down to earth, and honestly one of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve ever met. Nearly all the furniture has a very detailed card which gives the dimensions of the piece, which was so helpful — kept me from buying a gorgeous, quirky piece that I thought would be perfect for my entryway, but a call home to my husband with the measurements proved me wrong as it was an inch too long. I’ve been re-evaluating every other room in my house, hoping I can find a spot for it, though! Anyway — after a couple of hours of treasure hunting, I left with a small Erie cast iron open kettle and dip pot, with the hanging hook — what a score! Over 100 years old, in need of a thorough season but in great condition, for $ 15! I will definitely be back. Patty is a spectacular shop-keep — old-school friendliness, knowledge, and pride of service — it’s rare to find that these days.

Good selection of furniture, and decorative items for house. Many quality items and antiques as well as less expensive ones. What impressed me was that the furniture were all fairly good presentable pieces, not the scratch and dent you would expect. Prices fair for what they present. They do have some windows/doors in the basement. Nice place for furnishing house with unique vintage items. Now i know who bought all my old stuff from the twentieth century. :-)

This is a very cool place to come exploring with great hours. There is a ton of space and if you’re looking for furniture, especially hardwood, they have it all here from complete dining sets and headboards to bureaus and coffee tables. There are many local vendors who also rent shelf space here, a room of predominantly holiday items and really neat antique items. After a terrible experience consigning somewhere else, Patty and her son made it so much easier to work with them when bringing things in to consign when I brought things in myself. I’m a big fan.

I have returned a few times over the past year to The Renewable Trading Company and really not much has turned over in terms of the merchandise. Much of the same boring stuff that is really not that exciting or desirable. Just an eh experience and I lost the high to hoping to find a treasure here.

I LOVETHISPLACE! Patty is probably the nicest person around and the customer service is reason alone to go back. The prices in the store are very reasonable and the quality of the merchandise is great. And on top of that, it’s huge once you get inside. There are always more things to look at and they are more than happy to take your information down and call you if something you are looking for comes in. I will be buying more from this place on a regular basis.

A friend who lives in Derry told me that another new consignment shop opened up just down the road from her house. Well doesn’t that just give me a good reason to come up and visit? So off we went! The Renewable Trading Co. is located in the former Town Line Furniture building. It’s quite large now and they haven’t even begun to use all the available space. The consigners have separate areas and most have furniture and home goods for sale. There is some jewelry and clothing and other odds & ends, but primarily furniture and decorative items for the home. Most items are reasonably priced. If I needed furniture I’d probably be more excited about The Renewable Trading Co. As it stands, I will definitely return just to see what they’ve been up to. The possibilities are endless! Great new business for Londonderry/Derry area!
