I called and requested 4 times in the last 3 years that my service invoice be left at the side door of my home, BEHIND my storm door to prevent it from blowing away. ¼ of the time the invoice outside the storm door on the side entrance. ¼ the time the invoice is left outside the storm door of the front entrance. 2⁄4 of the time I find the invoice as a soggy lump in my neighbors yard, my yard, or never at all, presumably because it has blown away when left outside my screen door. Last year I had to bring my dog to the veterinarian after severe skin irritation on his paws because my wife did not see the service invoice left on the front door and let our dog out onto grass that had fresh fertilizer on it that had not been watered in yet. Besides the $ 120 veterinarian bill and some difficulty speaking with a receptive member of management regarding some minor-moderate fertilizer burns two years ago(fertilizer spill?), my experience overall has been positive and my lawn has looked exceptional. I do recommend TruGreen to others because of convenience and the consistency of my lawn over the last 3 years but there is significant room for improvement with customer service.

I used trugreen last year to maintain my lawn. I will not use them again. I signed up for a complete service from spring to fall. Fertilizer, crab grass control, over seeding, and aeration. Due to poor fertilizer coverage I had to call numerous times to get a new tech to handle my lawn. 1 bag to cover my 1 acre lawn! By the end of the summer my lawn had more crab grass and weeds than the previous year when i didn’t do a thing to it. Waste of money
