Ahh… this place is a breath of fresh air!
Employees are courteous and helpful. I had to return a pair of pants with some of the tags missing this morning (after cleaning out my closet, I realized I had purchased them twice– whoops! First world problems…) and the woman who helped me was polite, friendly, and efficient.
The store itself is very clean and welcoming. The dressing rooms are comfortable, have 3-​sided mirrors, and are well furnished (you know, for a dressing room…) Now, the real reason why I love Athleta? Their clothing. Their Chatarunga tights… so so comfy. I find myself wearing them to yoga classes, to bed, to the grocery store, and even under work dresses in cold weather. They also have some awesome hoodies this season. Their fabrics are second to none, and feel luxurious. I’ll be back!

I have long been a lucy fan for my workout wear. I like Athleta, but find it pricier than lucy (which has lots of sales), although they do have beautiful clothes. However, I was going on a girls weekend and I was going kayaking for the first time. I wanted a long sleeve rash guard and board shorts. I checked a few other stores and then decided to hit Athleta. I’m really glad I did. I found some rashguards left, as it was late in the season, and they were on sale. Found a matching pair of shorts and it was definitely worth the money.
I have had some issues with finding bottoms that fit, but I may adjust my expectations accordingly for shopping for certain items here. There is a great selection of fitness/​active wear to be found here.

So having a wife and 3 daughters we spend more money than I care to think about at this store. My daughter tried to return a swimsuit that discolored after 1 wear in the ocean. We have returned many items without an invoice/​receipt. She purchased this online and the 2 snotty clerks told her that they could not take it back. Since when is a store not able to take defective merchandise back? Regardless whatever method it was purchased the company should stand by their product. I know Nordstrom does and they are right next door.
