I would not waste your time trying to sell anything here, I had brand new free people jeans worn twice that were still selling at Nordstrom that they didn’t buy. I also have an lv bag I would like to sell but I would have to leave it overnight who wants to leave a 1200 $ bag somewhere overnight?

If I can post a photo of the like new sandals from Paolo, and once worn dress jeans from 7, you would appreciate them. Close Mentor didn’t so at this point I’m taking it personally. Growing up in the Mid West where manners were drilled in to my family of 6, I know I didn’t offend any of the clerks… Not sure why they don’t want my business. I’ve looked at many of faded coats and some ring around the collars and walked away from those items. I also bought some shirts.

Good for shopping. Terrible for selling items. There was an older gentleman there who was pretty snarky. He seemed to hate the idea of going through people’s clothing. Why do you work there?

Great place to find in-style name brand clothes. The are very picky about what they accept which means I can always find something I like and I’m not wasting my time going thru a bunch of garbage. The prices are very reasonable and they often have sales which results in even better deals. The staff is fantastic. They are all very helpful and way more friendly than most mall shops. Everyday they get new things in, so their selection always changes and I can always find something.

I haven’t shopped here but have no desire to after the experience I had selling items. It’s honestly not worth the trip for the amount they offer for nice clothing(a lot of my stuff still had tags). I’d rather just sell my nicer, brand new items on Ebay or Craig’s List than waste my time packing it all up, trucking it over to this place, then waiting for 2 hours for them to go through it all and decide what they want. Not worth the time or effort IMO. Again, can’t speak to the shopping experience there, hopefully they are passing some great deals on to their customers since they definitely don’t pay much for their pieces.

Prices for some of their designer bags and shoes are very close to the original price for the item across the street at the park meadows mall. So that alone is offsetting since for a little more you could go to the mall and just get new designer stuff with similar prices. Second their customer service is horrible. Every time ive been in the staff doesn’t speak to you, great you, let alone acknowledge you. I’ve over heard some of their conversations with other customers who come to sell their clothes and they are very snippy with their customers and have an overall snoody attitude towards their guests. Finally the last straw for me coming in to this place is when i was in a week ago and their was two older ladies behind the counter laughing and making fun of one of their clients clothes that got dropped off. I work in retail management and i was shocked to hear associates making fun of customers out in front of other customers. They seriously need to rethink the women they have hired there because the idea of this place has a lot of potential, but their staff is only driving people away.

What a joke this place is. New manager hoards everything of value that comes in. Then the manager dials 911 when confronted about a past situation and dispatcher tells her«werent we there last week on a different customer». WOWGREATMANAGEMENTDECISION. Prices on Coach are not a third of value but close to the actual retail price. Never Again.

I sold my clothes here for the first time, and I am very happy with my experience and the price that was offered! I brought in two huge baskets full of clothes, and the manager bought about 1⁄3 of the pieces I brought, which I expected. I was very happy with what they offered me for my clothes, and the sales gal even helped me walk the rest of it up the street to ARC to donate the rest! I received exceptional service from everyone there, and I was very impressed with the quality of the clothing, shoes, and accessories they carry! I’m so excited to have a place to sell my gently-used clothes! Thank you Clothes Mentor!

What a joke!!! Every time I have walked in the store they have had some excuse for not helping. They prop the door open and say they are closed, they restock and tell you to get out of the way and the high school girls don’t work they gossip! I took in clothes and no one went through criteria and then when I came back to pick up I got lectured. This is not worth your time or headache!!!

I am very pleased with Clothes Mentor and I am glad this option is convenient for me. I am particularly impressed with the pricing… never worn boots for $ 7, gently worn denim skirt for $ 14 and a stylish wrap dress for summer for $ 11. They accepted some nice business attire and casual clothes from my closet that My Best Friend’s Closet wouldn’t take(brands like Ann Taylor and Eddie Bauer, etc.) The staff here always looks like they are having fun and they are helpful with sizes, questions and advice. I think this store is particularly suited well for the 25 – 45 age women’s range.

It’s complicated. OK, so they do sell some recognizable brands. Expect to find Rock and Republic jeans, lots of Ann Taylor, Chico’s, Banana Republic and Gap. Very good section of blue jeans. But I also see a lot of not great stuff. Merona, Old Navy, Massimo, Forever 21. Things that you could pay not much for and get them new. And they sell used athletic clothes which I have a hard time with. I also had a hard time understanding their criteria. I took a bunch of J Crew stuff to sell and they bought one piece. They said it was because they only buy things that are a couple of seasons old. OK. But I’d rather buy a great(hard to find) J Crew top that’s three seasons old and silk than a one season old Old Navy cardigan. Anyway, they offer you an average of about $ 5 a piece for clothes. Less if it’s Merona or Old Navy, I’m sure. More if it’s designer stuff. I sold them a Coach bag for about $ 20. The purse section is hit-or-miss. Good selection of Coach products if you’re into that brand. But the rest is not stellar. And when they do get a good piece, it goes very quickly. I once saw a MKors purse there for sale that lasted a couple of minutes on the floor when they first opened. And they had a LV purse once but I have not seen them sell another one since. I think women might have decided they can get more money elsewhere for their designer goods(ebay, Plum’s Consignment, etc) I have to visit the area once a month, so I stop in to see what’s new but I really find that I don’t want to anymore. And this last time I witnessed horrible customer service. A woman was rushing in to pick up her stuff that she was trying to sell. The store bought nothing and was very short about it.(They do need to work on their technique here. It’s a very sensitive issue to be told that your stuff is not good enough for a store that sells Old Navy cardigans and Merona blouses. They could be a little nicer about it and in the process keep a customer loyal. Instead of just saying,” We’re not interested in any of it today.”) So this customer wanted to buy some earring that she put on hold anyway. Then this older lady with glasses and bangs too her, «I put those back. The salesperson didn’t put a date on them». The customer said«Do you still have them?» At which point the salesperson should have gone to get the damn earrings and made the sale, right? But no! She proceeded to lecture the CUSTOMER about their hold policy and tell her that they should not have been sold because the salesperson didn’t fill out the tag correctly. Seriously? Then gripe at the salesperson! Not the customer. It was incredibly uncomfortable to watch and in solidarity with this poor lady I purchased nothing and walked out. So that’s my experience. Some good(I have a couple of adorable Ann Taylor sweaters that I bought there and a good pair of jeans) Some bad(did I mention the array of Merona sweaters and blouses?) but mostly nothing to write home about.

This women’s resale shop recently opened in Lone Tree, just south of Park Meadows Mall. It’s a really cool concept that buys and sells gently worn, «nicer» name brand women’s clothing. This is for women, not teens(you’re probably familiar with Plato’s Closet for teens). You can find Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Coach, etc. Lots of clothing leans toward professional work wear, tons of boots/shoes, purses, scarves and accessories too. They cater to size 0 – 24 and maternity. I’ve lost quite a bit of weight over the last year and am struggling with the cost of replacing my entire wardrobe, especially office attire. This place is a fantastic solution for me! I was able to pick up two pairs of work appropriate pants in my new smaller size, one Ann Taylor Loft brand, for $ 16 each! I didn’t have a ton of time to shop so I didn’t have a chance to check out everything else but I will absolutely be back. I also sold them a bunch of maternity work attire. I didn’t get much, but it’s quicker and easier than trying to sell on Craigslist. And it was fast! The only thing is I wish they’d offer in-store credit for higher offer than their cash offer(like most children’s resale stores do). They didn’t want to buy most of my other non-maternity(too big for me!) work wear as it was older than 2 years, even though it was all name brand and in good condition– that’s ok though because it speaks to the quality they’re looking for to stock their shop and tells me the quality of what I purchased. The staff here are very nice the times I was there to sell and buy. There are a ton of people working there. The store was clean and very well organized; and they have at least 4 dressing rooms to try stuff on. A lot of it seems organized by color, and it wasn’t too crammed full making it easy to quickly peruse the racks for something that you liked. Definitely excited for this store to help me refill my closet in my new smaller size! I will be back regularly because they have a crazy backlog of incoming clothes which means an always changing stock!
