While the food was okay if bland, and the actual speed of service was fine the overall experience was just odd and I strongly doubt I’ll ever go back. First as soon as we walked in, when the hostess realized it was just myself and my toddler she told me it would be a second then greeted the family of five behind us and then immediately seated them. It took her a while to come back and the other hostess thought she was just looking for an out of the way table for a highchair, but, no, when she finally returned she pretty much fought with the other hostess over who had to seat us. The second hostess brought us to a large booth in the back and when our waitress saw us she seemed displeased, probably because her section was for large parties and we were obviously not going to order much. I felt rushed from the get go and she even tried to «help» box up our food even though my daughter was still eating. On top of this, I was told that each of the deserts I asked about was sold out(at lunchtime) though the one cheesecake that looks dodgy even in the photo was available on the plus side, she did give us a free muffin to take home, which was nice, but I haven’t tried it yet so it might be from yesterday or something. Overall, just an odd experience and for the price, totally not worth it. I strongly doubt I’ll be back.

Father’s Day there was an 1hr 20 minute wait at snooze our friend loves Mimi’s. 20 minutes wait now that I know why. 2 of us had great food 2 had awful food. The waiter was not the person I would have waiting on anyone. He was texting while we waited forever for our drinks. We had to ask for our drinks and our dessert he offered before our meal we had to ask about that too. Hello it’s Father’s Day if you can’t handle it don’t be a waiter!!!

I love coming here for breakfast! I can only come on weekends though, so I was always apprehensive about it being busy, but with the great and fast service I never have to wait more than 10 minutes. I’m not a huge fan of the lunch/dinner, but that’s just because none of the options appeal to me. I’m sure it’s delicious quality!

First off, if you look at my other reviews you’ll notice we love our Sunday morning breakfast with the family. We try to test the waters and branch out to new places, and on occasion you get burned. Mimi’s Café was definitely one of those times. I had the breakfast taco’s(looked about as much like the picture as a Big Mac does) and they were flavorless and cold. The kids ordered the«puppy pancakes» with fruit, the«puppy face» looked nothing like a puppy and the fruit was, honest to God, garnishes from the bar put in a little cup. The food was terrible, the service was awful, and don’t even get me started on the state of the bathrooms… Judging by the urine build up I would say they are about two weeks overdue for cleaning. I have never wanted to leave a zero tip so badly in my entire life.

We’ve been there twice and were pleased both times. The first time we came in just before closing and stayed late and they were very courteous and accommodating. We went again yesterday and our server, Jason, was extremely proper and professional. The menu isn’t huge but there is still plenty to choose from and everything I’ve tried so far has been great. Will be back again soon.

Recently had the opportunity to visit Mimi’s Café and found alot of wonderful new changes. A new updated menu… I had the Potato Benny and it was delicious. Fresh hot coffee smelled wonderful and tasted even better. My server Bryan was great and very attentive! I’ll be back!

Our group of friends have chosen this restaurant twice for a year-end celebration. We requested a private room at least a month in advance and were assured that we had reserved it by the manager. A few days before our dinner we stopped by to confirm that we had the room. When we arrived both times, we were seated in a public area. The excuse was that the manager who made the reservation was not on duty on this particular night. This last time we came, the manager on duty said that the room was set up for a breakfast the following day! Really? Don’t think we will be returning any time soon – if ever!

Update your hours! You are closed at 10 tonight but they say 11. I’m in town on an emergency trying to find food and came to your restaurant to find it closed.

This place is probably best as brunch spot. My 3 rating is when I include their lunch and dinner menus which are just ok. I came on Sunday for brunch around 10 and we had about ten minute wait which wasn’t bad but it looked like we missed the big rush because by the time we left the entire waiting area was packed. I ordered a mimosa and I loved how it came out with a little bottle of champagne. I also got the lemon poppyseed pancakes. The rhubarb butter which comes with it is amazing! I got over-easy eggs and unfortunately the were a little too underdone since the whites weren’t cooked all the way through. The person I was with got some of the crepes which we incredibly cheesy but tasty.

Ok Mini’s are hit and miss across the country. Breakfast was good, service was good. The place falls flat on being clean. Linen napkins are stained and dirty silverware spotty makes it not appetizing to eat with

Awesome French food, absolutely delicious. Their Dijon mustard sauce is to die for. Had their salmon, perfectly cooked and the pairing of the Dijon mustard, potatoes, and spinach couldn’t have been better. Every bit of their strawberry shortcake was heaven.

Had the most awful experience this morning. Went in for a nice Valentine’s Day breakfast. Short wait for a table, then after we sat down it all fell apart. We have 2 children — 2 years, the other 5 months — so it takes a minute to get settled in. Before we even touched the menus the waitress was there asking for our order-very pushy. We asked for a few minutes and she came back in a huff. I ordered and was told that you were out of crepes, but she said that she would make it a scramble instead and bring it with a muffin. I wasn’t thrilled that you had no crepes at 9am, but she said it would be really good so I agreed. We ordered my son pancakes and my husband got an omelette. My order came out WAY undercooked and was not even edible, my husbands potatoes tasted like they were cooked for about 30 seconds and were raw in the middle. Our waitress checked on us and saw I couldn’t even eat my breakfast and she offered to get me something else. I first asked where my son’s pancakes were and she looked confused, then insisted she bring me something else. I asked for a simple bacon & eggs because we had already waited a while for the first order. My husband saw her go and talk to someone else and ask if there were and pancakes waiting, then heard the other server say no, and she seemed to realize she didn’t put them in. She finally brought out the pancakes when my son was too fidgety to sit around waiting anymore since he was so hungry. My second round came out the same as the first, runny and undercooked. The bacon appeared to have been in the pan for about a minute. I ate what I could because I was starving and we had to get going. As if this terrible experience wasn’t enough, when the bill came I was charged for both meals. After how terrible the first scramble turned out I was ready to go to a fast food drive through for my breakfast, but I only ordered because the waitress was super insistent that she could get me another dish since my first was disgusting. In the end, we had terrible service, my son being 2 was unable to handle the situation your restaurant put us in, and we were overcharged. I didn’t come in expecting a 5-star experience, but I did expect common curtesy and a qualified staff. I got neither, so I really can’t imagine a situation where I would go back. Thank you for ruining Valentine’s Day

Slow inattentive service after waiting to be seated when theres all sorts of clean empty tables. Ordered corned beef hash benedict and was very disappointed. Their«diner style» hash tastes like it came from a can at the dollar store it had a weird sweet taste that is the earmark of cheap. Two tiny eggs sitting on top of that with a little hollandaise. No english muffin underneath or anything. The potatos had a weird flavor like a funnel cake at the fair. Even the coffee was gross. We wont be back. Hubby had plate that was nearly the same as mine plus toast minus hollandaise and felt the same way.

This place is a complete disappointment and a disgrace. I don’t even know where to begin. They had a wait of about 20 minutes when I counted 10 open/empty tables. What? Makes no sense. So, while waiting for a table, I use the restroom. The restroom was so disgusting. I thought I was going to get hepatitis it’s was so disgusting. Then, with it being half empty, we placed an order & waited approx 40 minutes for a simple omelette. 40 minutes, when the restaurant is half empty? Then, finally, the food arrived. Unfortunately, they brought me the wrong item. Ugh… ok. So they send it back to the kitchen and bring me what I actually ordered. However, they served it on an ice cold salad plate. Really? You serve me a hot egg skillet on an ice cold salad plate. What are you thinking? Then I ask for a new plate, and the waitress starts to act like I am the difficult one. I eat my food, which is average at best. I decide to voice my concerns to the manager on duty. She handled my concerns in a friendly & professional manner, which was good. And the waitress brought me my bill. She literally disappeared. At this point, I was tempted just to walk out I was so disappointed with this place. I most likely will never go there again. It’s a complete waste of time & disappointment.

Mimi’s Café — a bit of New Orleans and Jazz. You have got to love it! The menu has something for everyone. It’s comfortable inside, which just welcomes you in, as soon as you walk through the door. Prices are good, and the service is very good. I truly have a hard time trying to decide what to eat whenever I go… The homemade, or house made muffins are truly scrumptious! Why not purchase a few to take to work, or even a few for some snacks later on! Why not! You won’t be disappointed, trust me! Parking — there is a large parking lot here, but it’s shared with plenty of other establishments that are in the same area. Do you need a comfortable space for a family gathering/party, or a place to hold a business meeting, why not consider Mimi’s Café? We have held several family gatherings here, and they went very well. I can’t say anything negative about Mimi’s Café. Give them a try, won’t you?

The traditional Thanksgiving Feast at Mimi’s Café was SPLENDID in every way. Our party of 3 had reservations for 1:45 p.m. Couldn’t believe our good fortune at being seated in The Lodge room with the blazing fireplace on such a wintry snowy day. Little did we know that our good fortune had only started. Our server, Cynthia, was world class, anticipating our every need without hovering. Every bite of the Roast Turkey, Stuffing, Yams, Green Bean Casserole and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was exquisite. The portions were so large that most of us took home as much as we ate. How wondrous to have Thanksgiving leftovers to which we can all anticipate!!!

One day I will listen to everyone on Unilocal.I was forced to eat here because of time crunch. It was my last choice in the area. I ordered an omelette with ham, spinach, mushroom and avocado. Sub fruit as I’m doing low carb… Service was poor as my waitress was very busy. Unfortunately no eye contact or real caring. Food came with no ham. Had to eat it as I couldn’t get anyone and had a time crunch. Finally got her attention and asked for bacon. Was informed that there would be no charge because it would replace the ham?! Fruit was a small slice of dried cantaloupe, a dry orange slice, one shriveled strawberry and a couple grapes. Bacon sucked too Stay away…

The worst! Arrived at 4:35 pm was seated an promptly ignored. I asked another wait staff member if they had happy hour. Answer«I don’t know, let me get your waiter» — 5 minutes later I found someone(no one ever came to my table) and ordered a glass of wine. My friend arrived and still no wine. Finally, Ebony arrived and took our order, Simple order… fish and chips for my friend and chicken breast for me. People all around us who arrived after us got their food after a long wait too. 5:35 still no food. I asked for the manager who said, «Oh the fish didn’t look good. let me check on your order.» He turned around and walked away — we waited a few minutes and then left and went to Sweet Tomatoes for a fresh salad and no waiting! With so many choices why would anyone ever go to Mimi’s? Never again.

Im saddened to leave a bad review however my daughter and I were at Mimis on Sunday about 11:30am and asked to sit outside. We asked for a highchair for my grandson and they brought a disgustingly filthy highchair with big splotches of dried food on it. Totally filthy and gross. I immediately took it back in, showed the hostess the filth and asked for a different one. She brought out another chair while much much better was still quite dirty. Don’t they clean these? Also there was a candle on a plate that was dirty as well. I’m shocked that things outside don’t seem to be cleaned.

Kid, family, adult, and single friendly. The good thing about Mimi’s is its predictability. You will get a seat quickly and the food is standardized throughout its many locations. Many people like their baked goods and they are great, just very butter and sugar laden. Their eggs are a tad over done but I’m very picky with my egg dishes. For the drinkers they offer mimosas and wines. They have a deal for $ 5 glass of wine or $ 20 for the bottle. The wine is their house wine and not bad for the price.
