I’m a guy, but I can still review a salon. I haven’t been to many salons in my life, but I can tell you that this is a first class establishment. Pros: –Parking: Plenty of it with large spots. –Décor: Really nice interior design from wall coverings to bench seating. –Cleanliness: Always spotless. Restrooms: Spotless. You can tell someone spent a lot of money designing the restrooms. –Café: Always well stocked with coffee, drinks, sandwiches, specialty cookies and candy, etc. Hours: Interestingly enough, every stylist is an independent contractor, so he or she can use the salon 24⁄7. I’ve always wanted to get a haircut at 2am. If you are looking for an amazing stylist, look no further than Amie Allegranzi. She is super friendly and outgoing, polite, professional, and knowledgeable.

I see Heidi Kempton for my hair. I have never, EVER liked what a hairdresser has done with my hair before, I literally avoided getting my hair cut for two years and just trimmed my bangs myself because I dreaded the experience so much. At this two year point, I decided I really didn’t have a choice anymore, the split ends were just out of control, and made an appointment at Solera. I saw Heidi, and I have never been happier with my hair! If I have a choice I will never go to any other hairdresser again in my life – seriously, that good.

I see Sarah Malbrough for my hair. She is AWESOME. I’ve been using her for about eight years and have always loved her work. She keeps up on the latest trends and techniques. She’s also honest about hair texture if you’re wanting a cut that wouldn’t work. She’s very professional and highly skilled. I’ve lived in Woodland Park for three years and have to go all that way just to see her. I don’t mind though. She’s amazing at her job and I don’t want to use anyone else. So I’ll keep making that trek to Denver for awesome hair cuts!

Don’t go to stylist Suki, terrible service. And bring cash because she doesnt accept credit cards an you have to go down to the ATM in the building and pay the $ 2.50 service fee for cash.

Buyer beware. Do not buy a weekly plus coupon to this vendor. Everytime I tried to make an appointment she stated that her next available was 2 months out. Really, who makes a nail appointment two months outs. Finally I just booked an appointment finally with her that far in advance so I could just use the coupon. I called a week prior to my appointment to reschedule and she told me that she doesn’t work monday’s or tuesday’s and had no availability on Wed March 21st when the coupon expired. I asked if she accepted the coupon past the expiration date, she said yes, but she was booked then also. I said then when would I be able to redeem my coupon, she simply stated she was booked. I asked for a refund from her and she said that she hadn’t been paid from weekly plus yet so I had to go through them to get a refund. Absolutely a joke when it comes to customer service, do not do business with this woman.

Follow up …, weekly plus says they are unable to refund my money because of a credit card rule of 120 days! They did offer to give me a credit but I can’t use this because I live to far away so I’m out of luck on this one. Again buyer beware of weekly plus and this salon who sold more certificates than they could honor. I will be writing to who ever can stop these unfair business practices.

Vi at Nails Boutique is bad. I do not recommend her. I live in Lone Tree and there are much better people at Magic Nails right across from Super Target. They are understanding and professional. Unlike Vi.

Used my Weekly Plus certificate for a Shellac Manicure and Deluxe Pedicure with Vi at Nails Boutique just in time for our wedding. While running a little bit behind, Vi was incredibly nice, and good at her job. I left like everything was a little rushed(I didn’t get my hands soaked, lotioned, or massaged), but everything looks amazing, including my black tipped shellac french manicure, even a week later with no chips. It’s a bit far for me to get out to the Park Meadows Area, but if I’m out there again, I’ll definitely stop by to see Vi!

Bummer that the previous review was so bad. I had the most incredible deep tissue massage with Lora. She blew me away. I have been working out pretty seriously 3 days a week with a personal trainer who’s been pushing me pretty hard. I begun getting really really tight in my right shoulder and it would pop every time I rotated it — when you stretch and make large circles with your arms… anyhow I was desperate for a massage and went to Unilocal to look for positive masseuse /spa reviews and was pretty disappointed with the options. I mentioned to a friend that I really wanted to be pampered and he asked if I had ever been to Solera? I work really close to where the new one opened on Yosemite and Arapahoe and had already written the place off. Afterall I figured the person responsible for such a huge construction project must be suffering financially since the commercial real estate market has been slow since last November. MYBAD! Solera works under a totally different business model. — –one that’s succeeding! Apparently the building is comprised of suites and each hairdresser, masseuse, nail specialist etc have their own business. Each has their own clientelle and decides their own schedule. You can imagine that to make this work, the individual must have the talent to maintain their own steady stream of clients. I was greeted by a smiling face behind a coffee bar. So nice to be able to grab a chai and a quick snack(their cookies are awesome). When I walked in, I didn’t have an appointment with anyone and asked if I could get a massage. The ladies were very helpful and got me a 4:30 appointment with Lora. I had an hour massage for $ 50 !! I almost don’t want to announce this because selfishly I don’t want her schedule to fill up! $ 50 for an hour massage is unheard of. Not to mention that she specialized in the upper back and shoulder areas! Immediately after she finished(as in within the 2 minutes you still feel googly and realxed) I asked if she would be available for another appointment in two weeks. I’m thrilled to have found such a wonderfully talented masseuse who knows how deep, «deep tissue» should be. There was no excess chatter, some explanations about the areas she found particularly tender, but probably not more than five sentences in that entire hour. It was incredible! I would highly recommend Lora for massage! I also got a hair cut and color done with Diane that same evening. She did a great job. I have very thick wavy hair. I totally trusted her because she repeated what I asked her to do directly and was very good about showing me what she was taking off. Her low-light job was also commendable. I walked out very very satisfied. Though I can’t say I thought it was a deal, I got what I paid for. Solera has a really great thing going on and I would suggest giving it a try. They’ve made a come-back customer out of me!

Stood up by Nails Boutique — their nail salon. Made a 3pm Monday appointment. Drove 1 hour so I could have their«1 hour deluxe pedicure» that was advertised. Arrived at 3:05PM(hard to locate), only to be «greeted» by – sorry, the nail people went home early today — you can go up the block if you need them done right away. Go up the block???: I could have gone up the block from my house, not drive an hour, and spend $ 20 in gas !!! You would think there would be an appology letter with a free certificate instead vs «Sorry — out of luck»
