This is my second time going to bella to get my weave installed and she did an amazing job on my hair! I walked in there a bit ashamed and embarrassed by my dry, severely damaged broken hair but bella was kind and put my mind at ease tackling my problem hair. She deep conditioned my hair, applied the all right products to keep my dry hair moisturized and had me walking out of her salon snatched!

I’ve been going to Bella about 2.5 years now. My experiences have been good from the beginning. This most recent experience is what will keep me coming back. I recently decided I wanted a change. I purchased new hair — a type and texture I had never tried before. Unfortunately, I gave NO direction, NO vision and asked NO questions. Once the hair was installed — I absolutely hated it. HOWEVER, Bella salvaged the situation and I went home to try it out for a few days. Day #3 — I still hated it. AGAIN — NO fault of Bella’s! She did the best she could with what I gave her to work with. REALCUSTOMERSERVICE: I called her 3 days later to schedule an emergency appointment. She worked me in. She installed the new hair — which is GORGEOUS!!! And at the end of the appointment — she said, «Now let’s talk about pricing»!!! Now in the back of my mind I was hoping I wouldn’t have to pay for two full weaves within one week, but ladies you know… when you are in the midst of a hair crisis you might give up your first born! Ultimately — we agreed on a very fair price! My hair is back to that which I know and love and I will continue to be a client for a long time to come!

I unfortunately didn’t have as great of an experience as everyone else who reviewed on here. –In Short– *Pros: — Cheap — In the ghetto(so it should be a good weave, right??) — Bella is nice — She does hair care(trimming your hair, adding products, etc) *Cons: — Tracks started coming undone after 2 weeks — By the 4th week, my closure piece was barely hanging on — Her placement of tracks are terrible(too heavy around the ears, not enough placed in the back to prevent that gap of no hair when you move your hair to the front) — Wait time was TWOHOURS before she was able to see me — Looks wiggy when you leave(i.e. — don’t go on a date after you get your hair done. You need to go home and fix it to make it look decent). — Not too helpful over the phone(refers you to her website) –Explained Review– I went in to get a weave with a closure piece. The price was VERY affordable($ 150, listed on her website) which is why I went in; but sometimes, a low price equals a bad product. I scheduled my appointment and went in. I arrived about 8 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I really enjoyed how Jenet commented that she didn’t have to wait once she arrived because I too HATE having to wait past my scheduled appointment. However, when I arrived, there were two people ahead of me and I had to wait for 2HOURS until she was ready for me. I brought it to her attention and asked if that kind of wait time is typical. She informed me that her first client didn’t tell her that she needed extra things done so it put her behind. I believed her(whether it was true or not) because I’ve heard of beautician’s being blind sided by client’s coming in and adding additional services. The rest of the appointment went nice and she put in my weave. Upon looking in the mirror, I didn’t like it. It looked wiggy and LOOKED like I paid a cheap price for it. I left and instantly regretted my decision. When I got home, I toyed around with the part and it looked SOO much better. The next morning when I woke up, I loved it. However, that’s where the love ended. The first thing I noticed was that she lays the tracks VERYHEAVY around the ears. She does a «U» sew where she starts around your temple, has it fall over your ears, comes around the back, and up the other side. This left me pushing hair up(literally, because the braids were already loose) and off my ears. And even worse, it left that unsightly gap in the back because all of the hair is around the ears. After the second week, 4 tracks were already coming loose(to the point where you need to use bobby pins to keep it in place). I have light wear and tear on my weaves(the hair stays straight and I always wear it down) and my weaves usually last me about 2 – 3 months before coming loose and needing to be re-done. One of the tracks that she sewed fell down so I had to re-sew it back on. This wasn’t even sewn on properly. Probably in her haste to get me out of there, she took a track that was BIGGER than my whole head(I know this because I wound up cutting it out). It turns out that she sewed it to fit on half of my head. How did she do this, you ask? By placing one stitch in the middle of my head and the other at the end of the track, letting the whole thing just hang down. This is the type of work from someone who says that they’ve had their license for almost 20 years! The next week, the edges of the tracks were starting to come undone and so was my closure piece. By week 3 or 4, HALF of my closure piece had come off. I literally had to sew soo much of my hair back on, it was ridiculous. I definitely won’t be back. When I first got my hair done, I referred her to my sister. She called her and had a lot of questions and Bella referred her to her website. My sister isn’t tech savvy and wanted to talk to someone on the phone about her hair and what she wanted. But Bella didn’t do that for my sister so she went somewhere else. If you are really low on money and trying to ball on a budget, go to her! But it won’t last you past 2 months. I’m already looking around for another place to get it re-done at.

Bella of A Bella Touch is awesome. I was looking for a stylist closer to home and I found A Bella Touch through Unilocal.Because Bella was booked up, I wasn’t able to get in for a consultation before my first appointment. As you know, going to a new stylist can be stressful. So I emailed her a photo of the style I wanted and asked a few questions about things that I was concerned about. She replied to my email quickly, answered my questions and assured me the style I had chosen was not a problem. The day of the appointment, she was just finishing up with a client when I got there. I do not like to wait past my appointment time so that was a good start. Bella was very thorough with washing and conditioning my hair. She didn’t braid too tightly and did an awesome job on the closure for my weave. The appoinment did take longer than I’m used to, 4.5 hours vs. 3 hours. But I’m hoping that was just because it was new for the both of us at that as we get used to each other it won’t always take that long. I left happy with my hair style and with my new stylist! Her prices are great too~
