Amanda is absolutely amazing (and that’s an understatement)!!! I recently came in for cut and color. I gave her an inspiration photo when booking my appointment she was honest about everyone’s hair being different and that I possibly wouldn’t be able to get that light on the first try but she would try her best. Well she really outdid herself because I was able to walk out of the salon looking just like the girl in the inspiration photo. I am absolutely satisfied with my hair color and cut. It has been a total confidence boost especially when I keep receiving nothing but good comments from people. She definitely goes above and beyond to make sure her client is satisfied. She also provided me with a ton of hair tips that no one had ever bothered to share before. Needless to say she is going to be my hairstylist from here on out.

Like many people, I’m extremely picky with whom I allow to touch my hair. I have been looking for a hairstylist I can trust and regularly go to. I was ready to make a dramatic change from really long hair to a pixie cut. That cut alone is scary, so finding the right person was crucial! I was recommended by my bff because I loved her hair! After reaching out to Amanda for the first time, she has always patiently answered all of my questions and dealt with my indecisiveness. Amanda has consistently delivered what I asked for with references to my pic examples. She’s professional and truly cares about what her clients want, as well as the integrity of our hair. She charges reasonably and her schedule is flexible. I’ve never had a problem with booking. She’s very friendly and takes a lot of time in perfecting her craft. I truly appreciate that. I’ve gone to her about 3 times now and have had 2 friends go to her after and they love her too! Thanks Amanda for being great at what you do!

Okay, let’s talk hair ladies!
So let me start off by saying that I’m a unicorn at heart, so I’ve had my hair almost every color you can possible think of, pastel pink, mint, royal blue, purple, blonde, and the list goes on. I moved to Long Beach 5 years ago & I would drive to Santa Monica to do my hair, but that’s in the past now that I’ve meet Amanda! I came across her work on IG and I’m so freaking glad I did. Check out her IG account, her work speaks for itself. I went in with a dark brown box dye color in my hair, I was blonde & needed to dye it over night myself (big mistake) and ended up damaging my hair. My hair was so thin & very damaged. Amanda did a fantastic job! My hair looked & felt so much better. She has fairy like hands when it comes to hair, she’s sweet & very knowledgeable. She gave me many tips on how to maintain my hair. Amanda Marie has been my hair stylist for almost 2 years. When I first went to her I was stuck in a rut. Long dark boring hair. She convinced me to do something fun for my first appointment with her and I can say I left with zero regrets.
She ended up doing a purple/​fuchsia balayage and OMG it was amazing! My childhood dream of being a My Little Pony came to life. I got so many compliments from people. Complete strangers would come up and tell me how great it looked. This was almost 2 years ago, way before other people started doing the color trend. Amanda Marie is definitely ahead of the trends when it comes to hair.
Eventually I had to go back to a darker color (pregnancy) and Amanda did her absolute BEST to make sure my hair not only stayed healthy, but that I wasn’t breathing/​soaking in any harmful chemicals. She’s always available for me when I need advice on hair care products and is willing to go above and beyond expectations.
Amanda is a true perfectionist when it comes to her work. Definitely worth checking out.

Got my hair done again yesterday with Amanda Marie and once again, I’m very pleased! Loving my new hair do. I went darker than I wanted for my wedding to match my extensions but Amanda made me feel comfortable and reassured. She’s doing my hair for the wedding and she blew me away with the elegant modern up do that we practiced. Going to post pics after to show her work. Here’s one for now tho…

Amanda is awesome!!! I dyed my long virgin curly hair for my 3pth birthday and it came out exactly how I imagined!!! She was informative around ways to keep my color, but most importantly my hair healthy! She was able to squeeze me in last minute the Fri before labor day weekend and help make me feel amazing for my 30^th birthday!!! She works with you and talks you through what you want to really get you what your looking for! I highly recommend her!

Amazing hairstylist! Unlike others stylists she won’t give you what she wants. She listens to what you want & delivers! Talented for sure!

I found Amanda randomly through her Instagram account (@amandamariebeauty), and it seriously couldn’t have come at a better time! I’m from Northern California, and I was having a really hard time finding someone in Southern California that I could trust to style my hair. I had a very bad experience at another salon in Long Beach, and I was in desperate need of a hair stylist! I gave Amanda a try after seeing her Instagram pictures. She instantly made me feel comfortable, and she listened to everything I wanted and was empathetic of my bad experience. I have never been completely satisfied with a cut until Amanda cut my hair, and the difference is she listens to the needs of the customer, and puts effort into creating that perfect look for them! I loved my hair so much that I came in again for color, which I love just as much! I am so happy to say that I finally have found my Long Beach hair lady, and I can assure you, you wont be disappointed!

Amanda is great! I go every week to get a treatment done by her and a cut/​color monthly
If you want your hair to maintain beautiful and healthy, I recommend coming every 1 – 2 weeks to get a awesome treatment that makes your hair super soft and moisturized
I love her, won’t go anywhere else!

Amanda did magic on my hair yesterday, my hair was so damaged and broken before I went to her I had a high blonde before I met her and then I decided to box dye my hair all one color which was the worse most damaging thing I have ever done and she did a Malibu treatment on my hair and bleached it with olaplex and did and amazing job at what I wanted and she made me walk out the salon feeling the best my hair has ever felt ! It’s not healthier and shiner and softer. I would recommended her to anyone everyone loves the new hair color I got and blonde is just my color I can’t wait to go back for my touch ups soon !

I have trouble trusting people with my hair since it’s thick and hard for some people to cut. Once I find my person then I am dedicated, but as soon as I seen the work that she did on a family member of mine, I just had to get my hair done as well! I went in… And she was so sweet and nice right off the bat, knew from little descriptions that I gave about what I wanted — and she got it done! She cut my hair from mid-​back all the way short to my shoulders gave me an amazing balayage color, & lightened my virgin hair with 0 damage (thank god). I looooove my hair, and I will definitely be coming to her from here on out, no doubt about that! I would recommend her to anyone & I already have! :)

I was always wanting to change my hair up but never had the courage to do anything to it, then I met Amanda and she made me feel so comfortable right away. I wasn’t ready to do anything to drastic & she understood that– so she recommended I do an ombré, because I wouldn’t be dying my roots & the up keep would be less. I was soooo happy with my results and I go to her now for everything. I recently wanted to try something different so we did a «gray/​silver» balayage and I am in LOVE ! I didn’t think I could love my hair anymore that I already did :)
Bottom line —

Aware of budgets
And really outstanding at getting the look you want

I came to Amanda in need of help to fix my ombré and balayage that I got done somewhere else and she gave me exactly what I wanted! I’m so happy with the result. She also installed more individual extensions for me at a small cost which was much cheaper than where I originally got them done at. She’s also young and nice so I feel like she was very accommodating to what I wanted and the modern look I was going for. I’m definitely coming back to her when I need my retouch and my microbead extensions lifted. Thank u Amanda!

I am a person who is very skeptical when it comes to letting anyone touch my hair, skin, eyebrows, etc., so I’d usually end up doing everything myself … until I had my first appointment with Amanda!
She is not just a beauty professional, she is an artist in every sense of the word! She is a cut and color expert, and she is tasteful in everything she does! Sometimes I have an idea of what I want but I’m not too sure how to explain it, and Amanda always knows how to get me the exact look I’m going for! She has a great eye for style, and can recommend best options based on each client’s features, wants, needs, etc. I live in Diamond Bar, but I gladly & willingly drive 40+ miles to have Amanda work on me, that’s how amazing she is, she is my go to hairstylist no matter how far I need to drive!
Hair, cut, color, eyebrows, skin, I can go on and on! She is so well educated and knowledgeable and sweet as pie on top of it all! She definitely gets 5 stars from me!
