I came to this store because my Samsumg S3 was not holding a charge. Even after buying a new battery. I decided to activate an older phone while I shopped for a replacement phone. Carlos let me know that here was $ 20 charge to activate a phone. Okay — no problem. We discussed what could be causing the problem. The bottom line — time to dump the old phone.
He also said maybe I should consider buying a new phone from Boost. They had a big sale on phones — some more than 50% off — for current customers. They had new phones in stock that would cost me $ 20. Okay — I knew I didn’t want a $ 20 phone but check out that huge LG G Stylo. Regular price $ 199. Sale price $ 99. My 62 year old eyes are eating up this super big screen. So I purchased it.
I asked Carlos about the sign in the window indicating $ 30/​month plans. I am paying $ 40/​month. He explained it was based on data usage and that the $ 30/​month was an increasing data plan. Starting at 2 gb then increasing to 3 gb at the end of three moths but no increase in cost. But wait, there’s more (or less). If I sign up for automatic payment plan my monthly cost will decrease another $ 5/​month.
So not only did I get a great phone at a big discount, my monthly premium was decreased from $ 40/​month to $ 30/​month. I love Boost Mobile. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I left Verizon over 2 years ago. My husband and I paid $ 150/​month for two lines Now, if he gets on the same plan as me, we’ll pay $ 60/​month.
I saw several customers come in to pay their bill and all were treated with respect and kindness.
