I fear I have allowed myself to fall into the same ugly dark hole I’ve noticed a number of other Unilocalers often fall into.
That ugly dark hole that causes those Unilocalers to write a low star, sour review about a place, getting all pissy or whiny about some stupid simple little thing, rather than looking at the «big picture» for that particular location or event.
Yeah that’s right, as much as I try to stay positive and focus on the «big picture», I have fallen into that same dark, ugly place regarding this particular office.
Don’t get me wrong, Dr Phan is still taking really great care of my dad, which is awesome! However unfortunately… he decided he’s no longer accepting ANY afternoon appointments at this office! ARRG!
OK perhaps I’m a bit spoiled since this office is less than 5 minutes from my house. The problem is it now it takes 25 minutes to go to or from his other office.
But… again in the overall scheme of things this is a small potatoes because my fathers health is the important thing here.
«We» get so spoiled in So Cal because so many things are so close, we whine about having to drive 10 minutes longer to go somewhere.
So yeah that’s what I’m doing people, grumbling, whining and getting all pissy because I have to drive further to see my dads doctor.

Dr. Vu Phan is awesome! Went to check on my Thalasemia. Virtually no wait at all. He is extremely nice and so is his staff. He got a full health profile and answered all the questions I had in a very friendly manner and had a good personal conversation. He has excellent reviews on other websites.
I don’t understand how other doctors can graduate med school but supposedly can’t schedule a day of patients without massive wait times (think it is likely greed). Some are such a-​holes and don’t even give you a chance/​much consideration to all your valid concerns. Refreshing to get the exact opposite with this great doctor!
