Edgewater Skilled Nursing Center

I am no stranger to rehab and nursing facilities as my mother has been placed in several. Most rehab facilities leave a lot to be desired either terrible people skills or food that is not fit for your own dog let alone a loved one. However I must say Edgewater has helped me and my family tremendously. My mother loved it here the staff and the residents. She stayed here about 1−½ years ago and really liked it. Recently she broke her hip (3 weeks ago) and we had need of a rehab facility again and my first choice was Edgewater however they were full. She currently is at another facility that is beyond bad (they will also get a Unilocal review but not so nice) I hope something opens up at Edgewater i would love to move my mother back.

The place itself is nice but more into letting them rest than rehab. I was trying to move my mother to another facility and when they tried, this facility said that the «family didn’t want to move her until the weekend» which was a lie. They tried to enforce a 7 day minimum and when that didn’t work they pulled this stunt.
