Enrique is the best !!! I contacted him 3 weeks before my elopement for hair and make up and I went in for a consultation. He was very understanding of what I had in mind. He scheduled me for a hair prep appointment 3 days before my wedding day to do a hair treatment and sampling of make up and eyelashes. On Saturday I arrived at 9am ready to get all dolled up ! He did such a fabulous job on my make up and hair for my special day and my photos came out beautiful ! Thank you again enrique

Absolutely AMAZING… I don’t know the first thing about putting makeup on… Enrique made me feel so comfortable as he explained every detail of what he was doing… He’s gentle as he applies and he’s very knowledgable about his products… I was so nervous. But after the outcome I was unbelievably happy. I’ll always return when I have somewhere special to go… Heck I’ll go just because I want to feel pretty… Thank you Enrique you are a true gem

I needed to get a haircut/​style and make-​up done for a wedding and Enrique didn’t disappoint! He contacted me back in a timely manner and answered all my questions. He even gave me pointers based on our conversation. I scheduled an appointment and he was punctual and did a fabulous job!
Also, it was nice to have the salon all to myself as he schedules 1 on 1 appointments!
He is extremely personable, creative and passionate about his work! He is multi-​talented and has reasonable prices. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

My review is long overdue, but prom season is coming fast so here’s a little about my experience for you soon to be prom-​goers .Last year, Enrique dolled me up for my senior prom, and i must say it was a very good experience. Seeing other makeup counters fully booked left me stressed and anxious, but luckily I found Glamarama just a week or so before and he found a way to fit me into his schedule. He took the time to fully understand what I wanted and even offered his opinion on what should i should do as far as makeup and even hair. At first I was skeptical because i have never gotten my makeup done before or even wear makeup for that matter and he made me feel both comfortable and fierce. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all while getting my makeup done. My makeup lasted most of the night but a few touchups throughout the night made me look as glam as when i came out of the store. The place was small but rather charming and he was just very fun and caring. His pricing was very reasonable and i felt it was well worth it. I will definitely come back to Glamarama again!

I went to Enrique based on his reputation in the community. I had been wearing extensions for about a year and my hair was incredibly damaged. I was planning to chop it all off to start fresh. I really didn’t want to do it but thought it was my only option. Enrique took the time to study the shape of my face and determined that I could get away with a very short a– line bob. My hair looks great! Thank you Enrique for pointing out I had another option. I’m so happy!
Also the conditioning treatment he gave me was amazing! Definitely going back for more treatments.

I’m so happy and excited that my style came out perfect!!! I was looking for the long bob (Lob) and with bangs and was nervous about taking a risk and going shorter than usual but Enrique really tailored my bangs to my face shape and added more volume to my hair. I struggle with fine thin hair and Enrique really added volume to my hair:) I highly recommend him and his lovely salon.

I am beyond amazed by the level of customer service AND results on my hair after visiting Enrique at Glamarama. I had a dip-​dye nightmare-​looking ombré that he was able to correct.

Color correction thanks to Enrique! A few months back I had purple added to my hair by another hairdresser. Then magenta on top of that. I was over it and needed help getting back to something natural. I was told by the other hairdresser she was just going to bleach it all out. I thought there has got to be another way. So I called Enrique and of course he knew a better way. Thank you for saving my hair!

Enrique is so awesome! I had an appointment with somebody else for hair/​make-​up for my wedding reception — but at the last minute I gave Enrique a call. I’m so glad I did! He was able to schedule me in, with just a couple of days notice. Immediately after speaking with him, I knew that he really cares about what he does. I sent him a picture of my dress and he knew exactly what to do. I had originally planned to do an updo for my hair, but I’m so happy that I took his advice and went with something that looked effortless. I realized that I would have been so unhappy with my original plan — that’s why you trust the pros!
In regards to my make-​up. I loved it! I’ve had my make-​up done elsewhere several times before but Enrique definitely did the best job. He knew exactly what would work for me and even added a pop of red lipstick that totally completed my look! Again, I am so happy that I put my full trust in him.
Besides the great hair and make-​up, Enrique has the cutest shop and is so nice! He’s a pleasure to talk to and I felt completely comfortable. He offers suggestions but without ever being pushy. You can tell he has a lot of experience. I know he really just wants to make sure that you look good and feel great! I got a lot of compliments on the night of my reception. Thanks again Enrique!

For sure as good as it gets… Enrique is the best!!!
I just moved to Long Beach and was nervous about finding a new hair stylist. I’m super attached to my hair and it needed some serious color correcting. It had been colored quite a few times by quite a few people and had four different horizontal strips of coloring coming from the roots. (It looked as awesomely horrible as it sounds).
I did all kinds of research, scoping out who was in Long Beach and I was convinced Enrique was it for my hair. Everything mentioned in the reviews is true! He is amazing.
We had a consultation and I completely trusted him. I could tell he actually cared about what he was doing to my hair. He listened to what I wanted and also recommended what he thought would be best to help get my hair healthy again.
Enrique was super patient with my hair in seeing what would work to even out all the madness happening — I really appreciate that I didn’t feel like he was just ‘yesing’ me as some stylists do. He genuinely wanted me to be happy with the results and was committed to making my hair as healthy as it could be.
He also got me started on Olaplaex to reconstruct my damaged hair and I’m so happy he did! I absolutely LOVE the results. He also suggested doing a micro trim on me to help freshen up my locks and since I was already so happy with how my hair turned out, I let him. And holy hell did I love it even more! He completely kept my length but my hair looked dramatically different from just the tiny bit he took off.
I’m so so so happy with my hair and it’s all due to Enrique. He is amazing on all levels! He evened out my color, got my hair healthy again, is priced great, parking is easy, shop is cute and above all — HE HAS GOT YOUR HAIR. You will leave happy and feeling sexy because your hair is bomb now. No cons whatsoever with anything during my experience.
Book with him! He knows what he’s doing.

Wow. Just wow.
Just finished getting my hair colored and cut at Glamarama and I’m so happy with the results! I’m very low-​maintenance and don’t spend much time on myself, but am so glad that I took the afternoon to get pampered by Enrique.
He took the time to listen to what I wanted, and wasn’t pushy at all. My color is so natural; it looks sun-​kissed even though I have been trapped inside taking care of my baby for a year! And Enrique gave me the cutest «curly lob» cut! I can tell that it’s going to look great even if I don’t have time to style it every day. But in case I have a few free minutes, Enrique gave me a super easy styling lesson.
I loved this place and will definitely be back!

Enrique is a genius and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Not only did he give me the best cut & color of my life, but I had the best time with him. Glamarama feels like home, but with far more style than I could pull off. He knows what he’s doing and gives great advice, but really listens to you. And the hair, makeup and body care products are top quality and more affordable than most salons. I can’t imagine going anywhere else again.

Enrique is great! He’s professional and very experienced. He did my hair and make up. I felt totally at ease cause he carefully listened to what I was wanting. He’s very detail and takes a lot pride in his work. He will take his time to make you exactly how you envision. He’s also fun and sweet and you will enjoy your time with him.

It’s 5AM and I’m totally writing a review because I had such a great experience getting my hair cut and basically color fixed last night with Enrique at Glamarama!
I booked an appointment for a cut & color and I couldn’t be happier! He suggested staying away from more bleaching since my hair is sensitive and instead gave me a fresh and healthy look! I love it but most importantly it feels healthy too!
I am totally coming back!

This is an awesome salon and beauty/​men’s grooming supply in Long Beach. I’ve come to shop here several times and every time I’m back there’s a better selection of men’s hair styling and beard/​grooming products. I like that there are testers for all the beard oils and beard balms. I haven’t run into another salon and beauty supply in Long Beach that has quite the same vibe and ambiance – and well-​curated products.
Enrique, the owner, is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and does not push you to buy anything. I liked that I can browse at my leisure and he even made me coffee while I was at Glamarama. That’s what I call excellent customer service.
I have truly enjoyed every single product I have purchased at Glamarama in Long Beach. I highly recommend this shop to guys out there that are trying to grow out their beards and mustaches. I will be back very soon and highly recommend this salon and beauty supply to all Long Beach locals (gotta support local, independent businesses!) or if you are visiting Long Beach and want to check out an awesome beauty supply and salon with amazing stuff for men, women, and everyone else in between!

This is the second time I’ve seen Enrique at Glamarama Beauty Supply & Salon in Long Beach for a haircut and highlights. I can honestly say his haircut and highlights are the best I’ve had in any salon in Long Beach. I have also become addicted to the great selection of makeup and hair products he has available in his beauty supply.
I started off with thick Asian hair that I’ve been dying black for years. The last session he was able to lighten my hair a few shades through a 6 hour job that included bleaching, highlights, and a haircut. Despite all the chemicals that he put in my hair, my hair still felt strong and healthy after the service. I have never received so many compliments on my highlights and, more importantly, the hair color complimented my skin tone and looked extremely natural and sun-​kissed. The highlights were completely blended and did not look like zebra stripes (which is a look I DREAD!).
This time around I still wanted to go lighter, so Enrique did more highlights and gave me yet another wonderful haircut. I love shopping at this boutique salon and beauty supply. I really like the makeup supplies he carries as well (great prices on makeup!)
Enrique truly takes his time on his clients, focusing meticulously on great haircuts and highlights. I will definitely be his client for the long-​run!
