I had heard about the Japanese Classic Car Show before, but the last few years the show date came and went by the time I heard about it. This time a friend contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I wanted to go. TICKETS: It’s $ 10 «at the gate» or $ 9 if you buy in advance through the website. The problem with that is, there’s also a $ 1.45 service charge, per ticket, so it actually costs more than buying at the gate. LOCATION: Harry Bridge’s Memorial Park, just in front of the Queen Mary. PARKING: The Queen Mary parking lot = $ 15. So make sure you carpool and pack as many friends in the car that you can! THESHOW: Once I got past parking lot with all the highly modified /customized /slammed cars right inside the entry gate, it was a very nice show with a lot of unique cars to see spread across the grass! All brands were represented here, Honda, Toyota, Datsun /Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, even Japanese motorcycles too! I could post a bunch of other photo links here, but just go check out the 75 other photos I posted! OVERALL: A neat show in a nice location with a lot of stock & original, as well as modified cars to check out. If you’re into or can appreciate Japanese cars, there is something for everyone and it really is worth attending!

Been coming here every year as a specator some years and as a entertainment vendor/host with the beast the other years. Hosted again at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, is the JCC show. If your into old school cars this is for you. Old school meaning 25 years or older cars. Which makes me feel old just thinking about that. We still have 2 years before we can enter the beasts«other lady» as I call her who hes had since his senior year in highschool in 1991. So what you get is a bunch of cars to look at, some are orginal owners. A bunch of vendors giving out free swag and introducing their products. Yay for cool free Nissan stuff and some entertainment. Admission is about $ 9.00 and parking a whopping $ 15.00.
