I’m not sure how I have not reviewed this place, I used to live a block away from this joint and would swing by every weekend to check out their beer selection. Now a days everyone is boasting their Craft Beer selection, well, these guys have been in the game since day one, ya dig! They got your IPAs, DIPAs, Sours, Hefs, Belgiums, Amber Ales, Lagers, Game of Throne beers, Hobbit Beers, Rogue Beers, H24, and the list goes on and on and on. If you’re a beer enthusiast, stop your reading and get your booty down to Jones Liquor store. The people that run it are awesome too, very friendly and accommodating. They also are on top of all snacks and liquor. They also have a small parking lot and accept credit cards. An ATM is located inside for your convenience as well. Lottery is cash only.

I got used to the liquor stores in Chico, CA. Endless types of impots, micro brewery, and ofcourse Chico’s very own Sierra Nevada. And I must say, I’m impressed. Eddie goes out of his way to make available whatever you want. If they don’t have it, ask Eddie if he can get it. More than likely he will. Now, this isn’t a discount type LQ… but the domestic is priced fair market. And as well, there are various food items for your cravings and pets too. As well as bread, breakfast essentials, and yogurt, juices, and ice cream. And PIZZA… if you get there and the guy at the register doesn’t give your change with a sweet parlor trick, that’s Frank. He’s always having fun with the customets. The village we are. I love that I can stand on my porch n see if they’re still open… OH! I forgot to mention the nice wines! Really have it all!

As bottle shops in Long Beach go, this place is a about a three-star. A pretty decent selection of good craft brews and its somewhat close by for me, so thats a bonus. Good selection from a few local brewers, could use more Kern and less Stone though. I do like the ratio of craft beers(more) to mass-market crap(less). I do not get the impression that most of the staff has any advice or worthwhile beer knowledge. So if you are looking for advice or tasting notes information– I’d say look elsewhere.

I am from the northwest. Microbrew capital of the world. Since getting to Long Beach, I hadn’t found a single store with a decent selection of beer until I walked by Jones Liquor one evening. Instead of the normal overwhelming shitty American lagers, and poor choice of micro’s that everyone else had, I was excited to see one cabinet that had some Stone, Anderson Valley, Dogfish Head. I was beside myself finally stumbling upon a store like this. Then the gentleman standing beside me pointed out that the entire other side of the cooler was nothing by micobrews. WOW! they have about 6 cabinets worth of good beer selection. of course they still have the crappy american stuff, but you can also find an array of IPA, brown ale, English German or other Euro brews and more. I was impressed. Five stars.

Ok. 1st of all– This new and improved Beer-Wine-Liquor-and small grocery items– is by far the cleanest, newest, store in Long Beach. The owners will be your best friend as long as you are cool with them. They will help you with picking out a good or cheap bottle of wine. Liquor prices are just as competitive as your local grocery store. On top of the great customer service– the HUGESELECTION of CRAFT Beers and Ales are amazing. From Sam Smiths Oatmeal Stout-to the glorious Bastard ales! You will not be disappointed! They have brand spanking NEWCOOLERS that keep everything cold and ready to go! Get in and check out the sale prices quick! ANDTRYTHENEWADULTCHOCOLATEMILK liquor! YOUWILLLOVEIT! Drink it on the ROCKS! Party on my local LONGBEACHPEEPS!

Oh Yay. How fun! Time to review another liquor store. :) Liquor stores are fun. So full of random stuff. I can’t tell you much about what they have in this place. I’ve been twice in the past week and each time it was to get a single item. PBR tallboys. Okay so that’s not entirely true, I did glance around and noticed a few other items. They have the elusive Monster Absolutely Zero. Go ahead. Try and find it. It’s not everywhere. I know, I’ve checked like three place. Only here and the Oil Patch in Signal Hill are places I know that have it. It’s a liquor store. It have soda, wine, liquor and beer. All the basic food groups.
