My wife and I ate dinner here, the food was terrible. My wife’s meal was not even edible. My dinner was a beef rib dinner that was a plate full of bones. The waitress told us as we were leaving that the Mexicans like to suck on the bones that’s why there is no meat. Well I’m not Mexican and they need to take that off of the menu. The inside of the restaurant looks like all of the booths we bought at a yard sale. Something has changed. We use to eat here alot, not any more. Too bad use to be great food, but just like most all of the restaurants in long beach they have gone bad.

Eh. The lady running the register was pretty rude, but the rest of the staff was friendly. The chips seemed to have Dorito dust on their edges for flair. The salsa was fine. The burrito I got was pretty small and definitely could have used more salsa verde. I felt it was just a tad overpriced for what I got. Nothing was offensively bad, just completely forgettable.

Juan’s is amazing! They have two for one margaritas and taco Tuesday. If you like a great place to hang out on the beach this is the place for you.

We almost did not go do to the one bad review it had but glad we gave it a try! We had lunch. Loved the menu because every item had a photo. All of the items were really yummy! The margaritas good also. Give it a try. Very friendly service also.

This is a wonderful place to dine if you want tasty Mexican food. Our server, I believe his name was Fernando, was amazing. He made sure we did not go without anything and he always smiled when arriving to our table. The atmosphere is awesome in this place! I will be returning.

The food is always great here! But at times the service leaves a lot to be desired. They are always friendly and polite but lacking in the proper way to serve and their timing of getting food out at same time.
This happens with large and small parties. Also you may have to ask for something more than once, then they bring you two or three and want to charge you for all of them

Customer service, great food and great atmosphere. My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here and we were only able to give them a 10 min notice due to complications. With that short time frame they had tables set up in our own section, staff waiting for us, chips and salsa on the tables, as well as margaritas. They did this with the restaurant already having a large number of guest.
The owner and his wife were both there and were absolutely amazing. To say that they worked with us and made a great night is a gross understatement. I tried the enchiladas, chimichangas and quesadilla. All were great, I highly recommend stopping by this establishment. I’ve been there multiple times and they do not disappoint.

Was in town staying at the casino and had a craving for some Mexican food. They were the closest and got our order ready fast and efficiently. The service was okay, we ordered to go and they were friendly. Once we got to our hotel and checked, our order was wrong, and the food was absolutely wayyyyyy too salty. Could not eat it. Both of our entrees, which were totally different (chimichanga and quesadilla), tasted like they dumped a whole shaker of salt on it. We will definitely not come back, I’ve had better quesadillas from Taco Bell.

Great service, meh food. Everything is very bland and boring. I hate writing that as the staff are all very attentive and nice but the food is what it is… not a reason to dine here.

I have finally found my go to place for Mexican food. Awesome specials and one of a kind menu. Their salsa and chips are all homemade. Military discount (thank you) and great family specials (Wednesday nights kids eat free with purchase of adult entre). 2 for 1 margaritas!!! Need I say more?!? Oh but I will. They have a stuffed avocado. A STUFFED avocado yall!!! I can hear the angels singing now and my mouth is drooling. It is the manna of the gods. Seriously it’s that good. Comes with rice, pico, and a taco.
Hubs likes the shrimp Diablo, they also have chicken Diablo. He loved it, said it had good flavor. Offered me a bite but i was too busy inhaling the STUFFED avocado.
The kids don’t complain either. My daughter loved her bean burrito and if you’ve read my other reviews you already know what my son ordered… and he didn’t disappoint here, chicken fingers and French fries. The prices are great, service is ehh… decent. My only tip, don’t go on Friday nights when they have karaōke.

I hate to give a bad review, but I have to.
I came in on a Sunday afternoon after craving Mexican all weekend and I didn’t have high expectations but I was still let down even then. They were quick to keep coming and checking on us to see if we were ready to place an order, but it also was pretty quiet while I was there. I ordered combination fajitas and the shrimp looked awful, and the steak wasn’t terrible but was obviously something I could have made better at home. The veggies were good though.
Main reason for two stars is that the morning after I got terrible food poisoning. And while I wont solely blame this place, it’s the last thing I ate before getting sick. My daughter also complained about her stomach hurting afterwards and had loose stools.
I’ve heard it’s hit or miss, and I definitely got a miss. It’s a shame that for such a great location this place offers sub par meals. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Only gave it a 2 since the food is good but the service is HORRIBLE. We used to come here every Tuesday for taco Tuesday but now we go to El Nopal’s for their Taco Wednesday. Better food and MUCH better service. You should have assigned areas for the waiters not have their tables scattered all throughout the restaurant. This makes them neglect tables or out right forget them. Will not be back.

The chips are nice and warm when they bring it out to you so that’s a plus while you decide on what you’re going to order. I decided to try the Mane’s which had a chile relleno, fajita taco, tamale with your refried beans and rice. The chile relleno breading was a little tough but had some ground beef vice cheese. The fajita taco meat had good grilled flavor to it but seemed lacking since that was all that was in the tortilla. The tamale with the chile sauce made up for the shortcomings of the other two items. All in all the meal was good although it was a little in the salty side for my taste. The service was quick and attentive on a Saturday during the post lunch pre dinner time

Fantastic Tex-​Mex food. Nice. Clean. Excellent service. Would have been 5 stars, but I’m not fond of the live — loud — authentic Spanish music. Music stopped & the rest of the time there was great. Food was absolutely delicious!

My husband and I decided to go here at the recommendation of a lot of people who claim that their food is most like the Mexican food in San Diego. After spending the past 10 years there, we have pretty high expectations for Mexican fare.
When we walked in the door, nobody even greeted us. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to just pick a seat or wait to be seated. We finally were seated and given sticky menus. Our waiter probably spoke all of three words of English and when I attempted to change my drink order, he actually ignored me. We ordered an appetizer when we ordered our drinks. When we finally got our drinks, I was disappointed. The margaritas that were supposed to be the «better» ones were terrible. They taste like they were made with cheap booze and cheap syrups, not premium tequila and fresh lime juice.
Our appetizer finally came (a shredded chicken quesadilla) and it was super greasy. The chicken was a little too salty but had a good flavor. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the waiter finally came back to take our food order. We waited another 10 minutes and our food came, which should have told me that the food wouldn’t be that great. (Great Mexican food takes far longer than 10 minutes to cook.)
I got the Enchilada combo plate that had a shredded chicken enchilada, cheese enchilada, ground beef enchilada and a taco. The meats were all incredibly greasy. The beef tasted terrible. The tortilla for the taco was great, but the taco itself was greasy and just tasted weird. The enchiladas were all a little rubbery, and you could tell they were microwaved and not actually cooked fresh. My husband is also pretty sure they use frozen shrimp in their food, because he said they had almost zero taste from what he tasted in his dinner.
All in all, I have to say that this place was absolutely not worth what we spent for dinner. We will definitely not be dining here ever again. I will gladly find a different Mexican restaurant in the future.

Wow great place with great service! The owner definitely knows how to keep the customers coming back. Had the fajita nachos and they were scrumptious. I will most definitely return!

The food was fairly average Mexican fare to me but back home I do get the good stuff anytime I want. Everything was tasty and as expected. Service was also fine. They get an extra star for the raunchy sex that was happening on the handicap ramp. Lunch and a show!

DECENT MEXICAN FOOD. By no means would I suggest this place if you are not in the mood for casual dining and average food. The prices for what you get are phenomenal and I respect the business for taking care of its military in that way. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, the food was good, and the price was great! What more can you ask for?

Homemade tortillas, amazing salsa and the best enchalada sauce i have had so far. Think i have a new favorite. Bring your shades if its sunny out. This is a great little find here in Long Beach Mississippi! I would give it 5 stars but as no surprise here in the South, no green chili :(

Outside seating rocks. Great Gulf view. Service was very, very helpful and friendly. Food was so-​so in both quality and portions BUT the menu was so extensive I possible just picked a couple of blah items. Having been there in the middle of winter, I presume this place really rocks come spring and summer and it seems like the place for people who aren’t interested in hanging out in the casinos.
