Katherine is THE BEST! I come all the way from downtown los angeles just to see her (during rush hour no less) and it’s worth every moment and penny! I’ve been going to Katherine for almost 4 years now. She has taken my hair from platinum, dark brown, ombré, even rainbow! long and short. She definitely knows what she’s doing when it comes to cut and color, and keeping your healthy in the process. I have jumped around to many different stylists, who have destroyed my hair, and she brought it back to life. I get compliments daily for my cut and color, and I have her to thank for that. No matter what color or style you’re looking for, she’s the woman’s for the job! Especially because she keeps herself updated on all the new trends. Katherine is a rad chick.
She’s seriously the best all around stylist I’ve ever known. Her haircuts are my favorite, she really listens to what I want, balances that with what I tell her I can handle as far as ease of styling and maintenance. She would never do my hair in a way I couldn’t replicate myself and I absolutely adore that. She also is really great at finding the happy medium between whatever crazy high concept inspiration picture I bring in and the style that will actually look nice with my hair and the shape of my face.
She does amazing color. Great, creative, and fun color. She’s done purple, pink, blue, red, blonde, and everything in between for me AND I didn’t go bald b/​c of all the chemical damage!
She’s fun to hang out with, she is easy to work with, she’s got good appointment availability, and is reasonably priced.

Katherine is the best. I’ve been driving from West Hollywood to Long Beach just to have her cut my hair for years because she is the only person I really trust. She listens, has taken the time to get to know me, and always gives me great advice. She is also incredibly talented. My hair always comes out perfect whenever I go to see her. She even took the time to show me how to use a flat iron and a hair dryer so that I can keep it hat way. (I am seriously challenged when it comes to hair and tools. If Katherine can teach me, she can teach anyone.) Lastly, Katherine is just a really, truly fantastic person. I’ll keep driving down to Long Beach for many more years because of her.

I found Katherine because she has fabulous hair and I asked her who did it for her. Being a new resident of long beach I was desperate for a great, local stylist who didn’t charge an insane amount. I was surprised to find out she colored her own hair and so, I instantly scheduled my first appointment (of three so far). She’s talented, conscientious and priced very reasonably for her services. I get compliments all the time and look forward to the mimosas while she works. She’s just wonderful, I highly recommend her services!

Katherine is the best! ! She gives the best advice for my hair and what looks good on me. I will never go to anyone else. I have really curly hair and whenever I would get it cut I was never happy. It was the wrong style and always to short. Not with Katherine my hair is prefect every time. When I lived 3 hours away I would make a trip to her just for my hair cut and color. Katherine is hands down the best stylist anywhere!
