Called to view property listed by Jack & Barbara Irvin Team 562−370-xxxx — Keller Williams Coastal Properties. Secretary answered phone and relayed messages back and forth between me and the listing agent. Unbelievable. I was told «there are 2 offers on this property and the offers close tomorrow night, so this is probably not the property for you».
WHAT? DOES THE SELLER KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ENCOURAGING ALL OFFERS? TOO MUCH WORK? ISN’T THIS WHAT WE PAY YOU 6% COMMISSION (in my case $ 36,000), TO GET MULTIPLE OFFERS WHICH DRIVE UP THE PRICE? Sellers beware.
