only giving it 3 star because the pupusas are delicious but other than that service is horrible, prepare to get ignored once you enter and wait for your food over 30min

We were craving pupusas tonight so decided to give this place a try. Our first time here. I called in the order the man on the phone was very helpful and took our order with no issues. He said it would be done within 20 min and it was. The place was easy to find parking right on the street no parking lot or at least I didn’t see one. The inside was a little plain some tables and a bakery counter. There were customers inside eating & ordering. The man greeted me with a smile and said he’d be right with me. Got our pupusas and headed home. OMG the smell in the car yum! And the taste! Everyone said they were very good! We got bean & cheese, cheese & loroca and the mix beans, cheese & pork. This is a place we will be visiting again. Maybe next time we will even eat there. A must try!

This is definitely a whole in the wall, service is horrible. There was hardly anyone in there and waited over an hour for my food. Server was very rude did not want to attend to any one. I had to clean the table off myself. Will not be coming back definitely do not recommend !

I’m not Salvadorian but… I think these are the best Pupusas I’ve ever had. Especially the mixtas that come with chicharon, beans and cheese. I work very close by so I go often. I always call the order in because I only get a 30 minute break but the wait isn’t even that long anyways. They’re the best and their pan dulce is good too.

This place is great authentic Salvadorean food, as good as the food I grew up with. The pupusas here don’t have too much corn dough as the other places do. While I am at it, I also help myself to the baked goods they carry. :) I wish they could fix or turn on the air conditioner during hot days !!! And wish the waiters moved a little faster. :) A hole in the wall.

Okay wether you are Salvadorian or not. If your looking for pupusas, soup, pastries, etc this is the place. Friendly staff. You might wait a bit for the waiter to attend you if it’s packed. Im a regular here and will continue to be. Also this place was bought out by a family a while back so if you came here a few years back and got bad service it’s no longer the same. This place is awesome!

Best pupusas. Nice family restaurant. Great service, the food was perfectly cooked. Delicious pupusas found in a small place at heart of long beach. Definitely a place to stop by.

Love their Quesadilla– a Salvadorean type of sweet bread. It is the best I have tasted, here in the U.S., Guatemala(where I was born) and El Salvador. Their Pupusas are delicious as well, not super greasy, good amount of pork and cheese. Or the Loroco(a green edible flower buds that grow in Central America) pupusas. They have other types of Salvadorean and Guatemalan items like sour cream and cheese. oh yeah, they also sell other type of sweet breads
