Mannnn. The wet, pastor burrito is like a roll of heaven with every bite. This spot has the mom-and-pop vibe that I enjoy. Cash only is the downside, but there’s an ATM at the liquor store across the street. The food is authentic and worth every dollar.

Been coming here since I was a kid and unfortunately for me it has ruined Mexican food for me. I always use this place as a comparison for all other restaurants and it always beats them handidly. My personal favorite is the carne asada torta. I get it every time I come here.

BOMB!!! Food here is delicious and this place has become my favortie place to get mexican food at. They don’t rip you off like other places… The sopes I’ve had(chorizo, asada) were topped & loaded with: beans, meat, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, tomato & salsa. If you just want a breakfast plate you can order a plate of eggs and it comes with 3 eggs, beans, rice, they add lettuce and a slice of tomato on the side and it comes with tortillas made by hand that are so delicious and they give you like 4 which is waaay more than enough & you can also ask for chorizo with eggs or ham and eggs. The tacos are good and cheap. My favorite is the chorizo taco with the tortilla made by hand which cost you .30 more cents. The coctel de camaron however isn’t the best, it just tasted like clamato. The menudo is great! & i love the mexican coke but they’re a bit pricy $ 2.25. They have seating and a music box you can choose the music. Weekends get really busy around 11am and sometimes mariachi come in and play for you at your table. Overall i give it 5 stars not considering they are in a kinda ghetto area with bums chilling in the parking lot. Oh, and you can place an order by phone but if they’re busy they won;t answer.

This place is in a shady part of town but the tacos are totally worth it. My girlfriend loves this place and drags me out here every so often in the middle of the night. However I find the sanitation questionable and around the time the sun sets insane panhandlers make their way into the restaurant or sit on the outside. They are on different levels on insane: From yelling incoherent phrases in spanish to rapidly clapping their hands. I highly recommend this place during the daylight hours.

I check out Mexican food places all the time and I always end up comparing them to Los Primos. This is simply the best place I’ve found so far. If décor and fancy service are important to you, you won’t be impressed. But if you want the very best Mexican food ever this is the place. Their pastor tacos are especially amazing.

Horrible service. Give away your food after waiting 30 minutes. ask for something simpler so I could get it fast. They gave me a burrito that was probably just a wrong order from somebody else. Never order a Caldo de pescado or you’ll be waiting for it for at least half an hour.

Wet burrito– looked great, but it was bland. The rice and beans inside were ok. The sauce is a canned tomato soup of some sort. Not good Mexican food!

Legit. The carnitas are succulent and crispy, goes really great in burrito form. The tamarindo is tasty. Authentic Mexican food. The hot sauce is of the some of the hottest I’ve ever had in my life and I am a hot sauce freak.

Another great local mexican food restaurant and it’s not too far from my other review(taco loco #3). The restaurant is good but not fancy. Service is real quick and to the point. Food is good! Tacos & Torta de lengua, asada and carnitas are my favourites. They have the common Mex drinks: horchata, jamaica and tamarindo. They also got a jukebox, Tv and beer if you want to relax for a bit. Overall good place to grub just the area is not too appealing.

for the longest time i couldn’t remember what this place was called. all i knew was they served cheap, awesome mexican food, and it was rec’d to me by a close a friend. chicken tacos are great, but the sope is what it’s all about. oh my. soo soo good. now, if you’re always needing to eat at a place with clean restrooms, and a safe neighborhood, this doesn’t fit the bill. lol. i grew up around here, and i know what i’m talking about. don’t be surprised if you eat in, and a homeless person is spacing out in a table across from you. if that really bothers you, take it to go. delicious food, and delicious prices.

Let’s forget that it looks like a Tijuana gift shop threw up inside. Forget the sketchy parking lot(there must be an amputee support group in the neighborhood). Forget the fact that there’s no proper menu or prices for anything. This is the best carne asada burrito I have ever had. I had to eat there 5 times just to make sure it was worthy of the 5 stars and it is. The carne asada is moist and tender. Best of all it’s 4.50 otd for a burrito. Fantastic value. Their red sauce is so amazing you have to ask for it. The carnitas and pollo is delicious too, but the beef is where it’s at. Not for novices. If Baja Fresh is your idea of Mexican, go there. Unless you like mariachis and screaming children best to get your order to go.

This is the classic hole-in-the-wall taqueria in an unappealing strip mall… totally authentic. Just tried for first time, and the asada tacos are muy excellente! They don’t pack the taco with meat, which can be a good thing, and it is smothered in a nice red salsa for a slightly different take. I think La Mexicana has probably the best asada tacos, but this was a close second, and are different enough that it’s worth it. Will return to try other things on menu, which include the usual burritos, sopas, but also caldos. Addendum…I went back a second time. This time, I didn’t like the tacos quite as much as the first time and scaled back to 3 stars from 4 stars… but it’s still on my taqueria list and I will go back to try other items…
