I was sad for not to be able to buy at this store anymore but finding a better place like tres elegant makes me happy again. If you are looking for stylish and one of a kind dresses visit tres elegant. They also have a nice selection of baptismal and first communion dresses.

Luans is now closed, there is even a better dress store for boys and girls called Yes Kids in Carson at the Southbay pavilion mall. Check them out for any special occasion needs.

I just found out the store is closing today — as of TODAY.
I’m absolutely crestfallen and speechless. Although another person is purchasing the business and moving it to Artesia, it’s just not the same.
Even as an adult, I would just pass by to look at the displays in the window. All top shelf, all quality, all unforgettable dresses.
This shop is irreplaceable.

They have the most beautiful dresses here… thank god I was able to find somewhere local to get a bday dress for my little girl! The employees are super helpful and help you match the dress and accessories ! Love it!

Amazing customer service. The dress are so beautiful. Some of them are manufactured in Spain and Europe. I always wanted a Lil girl so I can buy a dress from Luans. I bought one today for my hope chest. New customer already going to miss this amazing store.

This store has been around since before I was born. My dad used to take my sisters and I here for our Easter and Christmas dresses. It’s on the pricey side but they do have really nice dresses you won’t find elsewhere. If you’re willing to spend $ 60 and upwards on something unique, this is the place.
I bought my niece a dress that was on sale for $ 35. I almost left regretting my purchase until the cashier offered to put it in a box for me. She wrapped it in tissue paper and tied the box with a nice netted ribbon. It was still an expensive dress, but I don’t normally shop like that for my niece.

My Mom took me to Luan’s and my daughters went to Luans. So we have been Luan’s customers for over 55 years. When you buy a dress here the pictures are so beautiful It is a special time in your life when your Mom cares enough to buy a dress and soft slip at Luan“s.

So, Luann’s has been in business for 60+ years, and they still have the cutest little girl dresses anywhere. With that in mind, these dresses are from another time. These are not modern dresses for modern little girls, these are old school, fluffy baby girl dresses with bloomers and fluffiness under the skirts and lace and ruffles and ruffled socks and patent leather shoes. This is where you come for the Christmas or Easter dress that your little girl isn’t big enough to protest having to wear. This is the land of velvet and satin and tights and beaded shoes and bows and ribbons. It’s also the land of $ 80 dresses that will fit the kid for literally 35 seconds.
This is not an every day dress kind of place. This is a trip back in time.
They do have a decent selection of more modern fancy dresses for little girl if that’s what does it for you.
The staff is super helpful and friendly and will help you select something if you’re unsure. They offer lay away if you’re into that, and they also have a big sale in January where everything is 50% off.
They have parking, and for being on Long Beach Blvd, street parking is fairly plentiful.
This is definately a special occasion kind of place, like really special. Like going to the wedding of royalty kind of special, at least for my money, but there is totally a time and place for this trip down memory lane.

I got super cute flower girl dresses here. They ordered them for me and they had great customer service here. The dress quality here is excellent, hence the more expensive prices. If you are looking for a special dress for your little girl, this is the place to go!

Very pretty and unique dresses. You are not going to see a bunch of other girls in any dress you buy here. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but you get what you pay for. They are friendly and will work with you to piece together an outfit for your little angel.

I stopped in to pick up a gift for a friend who recently had a baby girl and it was impossible to resist a sweet designer dress. Hopefully the child will get to wear it once before she outgrows it (I did get a bigger size!!!)
