Papa John’s Pizza

Well I read all the other reviews. And in my opinion these guys are great. Always super nice… And my pizza is always ready in 15 min. Perfectly delicious :)

SO incredibly grossed out by this Papa John’s location.
Ordered their Valentines special for a late night heart shaped pizza with my dude.
Not only did they quote me an hour, and it took an hour and 25. It was legit the worst pizza I’ve ever had.
It was cold, and tasted like cardboard with cheese and marinara smothered on top.
We threw it away.
If you want pizza, esp. delivery. DO NOT order from here!

we ordered couple of Pizzas yesterday, and they did not turn not as good as they usually are: hopefully they are good next time.

It’s a Super Bowl tradition to order from here. I always order online and never had any issues with pickup times or order accuracy.
Minus 2-​stars for difficult accessibility when carrying out. Lot is small as well. Not their fault just the nature of the beast that is 7^th Street.
If you’re heading west on 7^th or south on Termino, it is easiest and quickest to make an illegal left crossing the double-​yellows.

Craving pizza? Don’t call Papa John’s you can drive to the market and make one from scratch. After an hour and half. Pizza arrives cold. Yes I ordered for convenience, but, there was nothing quick, easy or tasteful. Bad experience.

I order delivery from here quite often. It’s always hot and comes pretty quick (30 min max). Today I ordered a Greek pizza, and when it got here it was missing a topping. I’m not usually a person who would call or complain over it but I did.
The manager was very nice and sent me another pizza with the topping! I can’t complain.

The worst pizza ever. I had the $ 6.99 special — large one topping pizza and it was rubbery and the cheese tasted very artificial. Unreal how bad the pizza was. Avoid Papa John’s at all costs!!!

Pizza tasted like cardboard. I was so hungry and I couldn’t even eat it because of how unappetizing it tasted.
My breadsticks were sitting in a puddle of butter and grease. It leaked out of the box and onto my pants. Really gross. I want my money back.

Cold a$$ pizza, delivered in 1 hour 20 minutes (after the website quoted 30 – 40 minutes). Never again.

I am giving three stars only bc I have orders here a few times and never had a problem but tonight my pizza came via delivery and when I got it the bottom of the box was complete soaked all the way through with grease, with a thick layer still visible in the box. The pizza was like rubber as if it was reheated. I called to inform the manager and she proceeded to argue with me that it was within the 45 mins (not what I called about!) and that she watched it cook so it couldn’t be rubbery. She said all she could do was a credit for another one, so at that point I asked for a refund bc I wouldn’t be back due to the unprofessional way she handled it. She then insisted to rudely say, «that’s fine, it will take 3 – 5 business days…»
What happened to putting people in management who are professional and understand good business.

Ordered 2med., 2 topping pizza, but decided to add a few more toppings, yet the finished product wasn’t how we expected it to be. Where are the pineapples, the mushrooms, the pepperonis?! So disappointing after seeing the pizzas when we knew we should’ve juat ordered Dominoes. So, not only did we pay more, they never told us about their #kickoff special” when we called to ask what specials they had going on. Definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. It’s gonna be awhile until we eat Papa John’s, I tell ya…

We currently live a couple of blocks from this branch and they always make it like we want it.
Pretty straightforward and CONSISTENT service, and experience. I have and will order from them again… and again.
I usually order online, then go pick it up.

Not only did my they mess up two consecutive orders. On the «last chance» I took with them (I had a credit from the last order) they told me 10 – 15 minutes and they took 30!!! And it was a pick up. They had my order wrong again. Don’t go here. They seem confused and untrained.

Same high quality taste and quality as you would expect from any Papa John’s, but the takeout special is incredible!
You can get a great pizza for a bargain price…

Papa John’s has become my favorite pizza chain. I’ve never had any issues with the many times I’ve ordered delivery from my local Papa John’s. Even though I moved from my prior location, my pizza always gets to me hot, fresh and quickly. I always order extra sauce on my pizza and never once does it have an overdone or watery taste. The toppings do not ever slide off despite the extra sauce. I once called to change an order. Their CSR doesn’t give attitude or sound annoyed at all. Order gets changed quickly as specified without any problems.
I have also been to their location for carry-​out. The restaurant is clean and there is seating in the restaurant for my wait. The service in-​person is straightforward and I have nothing bad to say about my experiences in person either.

Papa Johns is by far the most disgusting pizza ever. I’ve given it three chances and i end up with a huge stomach ache afterwards and not to mention i’m holding back my vomit. I don’t over eat and I don’t put anything on the pizza. I usually eat it as is. However, I’m pretty sure that three times is plenty of times to stand by my decision. Sorry papa John, but I will no longer order from you. You give Pizza Hut a good name (bleck).

I don’t know why people are so critical of papa johns. It’s just a chain pizza store. It’s just like a fast food place that delivers. So don’t complain when they’re not giving you 110% of what you think you deserve (i.e. don’t be so stuck up).
Secondly, it’s way easier to order online. You can use coupon codes and the deals are already there for you to choose from anyway. There is no misunderstanding between orders, and I think you can just choose to pick up on the site.
This place has always been on time for the past 6 or so times that I’ve ordered delivery. The drivers are always courteous to me and the food has never been sloppy or wrong.
The garlic bread sticks are sooo delicious and fattening with butter. Mmm~ And if you don’t like soggy pizza, pick the well-​done option. Much better this way.
I don’t know, I just started to appreciate papa johns sooo much more b/​c when I was in Korea to teach for a year, a small sized pizza was about 35 US dollars (and they don’t even charge for delivery in korea nor tip!!!). It was basically a luxury to eat this over there. Can’t beat their $ 11 pizzas now. :D so glad to be back.

I actually kind of like the PaPa John pizza these days, since they did the reformulation of their crust, its as good, if not better than pizzas twice the cost. The 2 topping pick up deal is the best in town.
My compliant with PaPa John is the conduct of their drivers. We live a few blocks from their shop and the way their drivers are operating is scary. They regularly drive twice the speed limit, blow through stop signs and chirp the tires through the gears. These are neighborhoods with schools, kids, dogs, etc.
I hope you all as neighbors will help us send a message to Papa Johns that this conduct is not acceptable.

This Papa Johns was the worst experience of any, and because of it I am no longer a customer. The pizza is ok, and location convenient, but this place is a joke.
I went to pick up my pizza, and as I was paying the staff were eating ingredients out of the bins. I waited in the store for 15 minutes, and asked when it would be ready, and I was told it was up next. Another 15 minutes went by, and I asked again, and the staff acted like I just walked in the door, even asking me to pay again! All the time my pizza was sitting on a rack getting cold. No offer to make a fresh one, no care from the staff, and no more business from me at any Papa Johns again.

Not a fan of «chain» pizza establishments (Domino’s, Little Caesars, Pizza Hut), but I’m quite pleased with the product Papa John’s puts out after ordering from them at the request of my wife. Along with Round Table, they put out some of the better chain pizza pies. Crust and toppings all tasted fresh and for the price, it was really a good deal.
Ordered online both times and it was delivered in 20 – 30 minutes…
