Name says it all! not just Vietnamese food not a couple other asian foods that make it all yummy. funny hard working staff, priced fair for a food truck and ultimately good food.

Amazing food. Their spicy Asian Tacos are excellent! Also tried the phở. I’ve had better phở but it still wasn’t bad. Will definitely be going back to try their other items.

Such an amazing truck! Highly recommend stopping by and trying out a bowl of their delicious, authentic Phở! It really doesn’t get any better :)

Excellent. … I originally went just for my kids to have Phở… but the guys were kind enough to let me sample a Spicy chicken taco with cilantro and an AWSOME sauce, that I had to get some for me. The best flavor of spicy and tangy and yummy in a taco sauce I have ever had. I will definitely stop by next time I see their truck around.

Pretty phở king good, but I can only speak for the Asian Cajun chicken. $ 9 per order, and it’s a little basket of chicken nuggets, the breading has the texture of karaage kinda, it’s light and crispy, they drizzle teriyaki and a creamy zesty orange sauce on it, then top with chopped cilantro and green onion. I did not add rice, and I think it was a good portion. Friendly service. I’ll try the Phở next time, I just didn’t want to carry a bowl of hot soup around. Best part was coming back into my office and announcing the name of the truck to anyone who asked. They accept cards.

This is the only truck that I’ll schedule my lunches around at work. The phở and the service is really effing awesome. I don’t know that it’s the absolute most authentic phở you’ll find but speaking as a matter of convenience, this can’t be beat. Plus it’s like $ 8 for a warm, filling bowl. I happen to like that the beef isn’t too rare. I’ve tried their chicken taco which was also delicious, but I am a sucker for the soup. Hope they keep coming back to my office because I will continue to support.

Tired the Asian Cajun Chicken and the Phunky Fusion Rice — So good — so flavorful! You gotta try it! I can’t handle spicy food and this(the unspicy version) was almost too spicy for me — loved it! Jason is very cool and the food was ready pretty quickly. If you see them give them a try stat!

I looked up this truck on BookMyTruck and found out they are new. Well, that was it. A bunch of friends and I landed near UCLA to check out the food here. Amazing people, hospitality and mannerism. Overall, the food is delicious, well prepared and with love from a family. They can prepare as spicy as you like, I do recommend to not ask for any changes. Try the way these guys fuse food. Definitely going there again! We started with the delicious Asian Tacos. If you go there, get an order of these to try. Pretty small and you get 3 in a plate. And this might become a side order everything you eat! Delicious meat and tortilla. Next up we tried Asian Cajun Chicken with rice which was steaming hot(the temperature) and spicy(because I asked for it). We tracked down this truck and were eating here again after a couple of weeks. This time, I got OG Fried rice and fusion rice along with tacos. The fusion rice is one of my favorites and you might like it too if you like sweet and spicy in your food. There is pineapple(just enough and aptly cooked) with spicy rice and chorizo. I forgot the name of the guy who runs the the truck with his family. However, he was nice enough to offer us some free Cajun Chicken because another friend wanted to try that. Next time we got them again near UCLA, a couple of days back, and I got the tacos(of course) and Asian Cajun Chicken with rice. I am yet to try the egg roll and spamushi. :)

Ordered their phở. Soup is kind of bland and because it’s a food truck, came in a plasic container… I sure hope that the container is BPA free. Meat was very hard too and I didn’t drink any of the soup. Oh, and for the amount of phở you get, it’s not worth it. Skip this place if you’re hankering for phở.

Awesome people and food!!! The guy taking orders was cool and gave me a free taco since i was waiting longer than usual. The cajun chicken was goooooood! Their tacos were the best though — a mixture of some Asian sauces — that were phở king amazing! I haven’t tried their phở, but it sounds like a good idea to have the phở come to you!

@Phokingawesome2 Wow, these guys have all the ingredients. Great food, from what I’ve tasted, friendly and fast service. And I’m basing that on 1 item that I ordered, the spicy pork tacos. These tasty little gems were flavor balanced better than many restaurants I’ve tried. All the ingredients work together to create an overall flavor that actually gets better when you squeeze the lime over it. I can’t wait to try some of their other dishes, and I will. If their other stuff is as good as the tacos I may give them another star, but for now I will enthusiastically give them this ___________STALKER APPROVED________

The best Phở. My first time trying phở was off of this truck and it blew my mind with all the flavor. I honestly didn’t know what to expect and soups generally aren’t my thing. I had the beef phở and the broth was amazing, was not lacking on any of the ingredients. One of those i’m full but can’t stop situations. Since trying phở king awesome i’ve had phở at 4 other brick and mortars and this was hands down, far and away, the BEST. And their crew is really nice which is an added bonus. And tacos! Double bonus.

The OG Fried Rice was delish… The owner is super chill and nice. I can’t wait to try more of their dishes. Come check them out at Kaiser in Gardena(190th/Figueroa) on Thursdays. I hope the Phở will be good(it’s all about the broth). I know they’re a bit new and have some growth to do, but people really need to give them credit where it’s due. Keep up the PHOking AWESOME job guys! See ya soon.

I really was excited to hear these guys were in the neighborhood for lunch. But if they are indeed a new venture, then they still have a ways to go. I know I won’t be seeking them out again any time soon. At 1:15 p.m., they were already out of more than half their menu. I ended up having the phở($ 8) and the chicken tacos($ 6). At 1:40, I finally got my food. No apologies, no advanced warning it would take so long. And no obvious reason; there was no line! Several other customers were also pretty angry about the delays. When your customers only have so much time for lunch, you can’t take almost half an hour to get small food orders out. LESSON1: Learn who your customers are wherever you park and cater to them. If you’re in the middle of Westwood high-rise office bldgs, then expect busy, time-limited lunch denizens and be ready for them. We aren’t a bunch of kids with unlimited time to wait for you to figure out how to make three basic tacos and pour some soup into a bowl. JFC. When I finally received it, the food itself was of mixed quality. Their signature phở was a total disappointment. Maybe if I were loaded and it were 2:15 a.m. I’d have thought differently, but on this day it was almost flavorless. The secret to phở is the broth… and this broth was terrible. There was a gritty mess at the bottom of the soup bowl, too… cheap-ass beef soup base, maybe? Whatever mystery substance it was turned me off pretty badly. All the recipes I’ve seen for authentic phở don’t use soup base, preferring instead to have the cook simmer beef bones and other veggies/spices for a long time to make the broth. LESSON2: If phở is the flagship offering and namesake of your whole operation, how about making it really stand out with awesomeness? Or offer more than one variety? The 3 spicy chicken tacos were a bright spot. They were flavorful, not very spicy at all, actually, and had enough filling to justify their $ 6 price. The creamy sauce and cilantro played well off the chicken bites inside. Another thing that’s gonna get these guys shut down is the overhanging, fold-up metal door on the side where you order and pick up. This was hanging down just a little over five feet high, so almost anyone had to duck under it to get to the window. I saw three separate people bump into it. When someone needs stitches or gets a concussion as a result of this thing catching them, the law$uit is gonna be epic and easy for the victim. And finally, the pics of the food items they offered were small and hard to make out. Learn from more established trucks — have big, easy to see pics of the food you’re offering so customers can quickly and easily make decisions. So I hope these guys get their act together. I like interesting truck options — but these guys did nothing to make me feel special or valued, and their scant available food offerings didn’t go nearly far enough to make me overlook all the hassle.

Unfortunately, Phở King Awesome is not really awesome. Not even good. Well my review is based on their signature dish«Phở.» It lacks seasoning. There’s not that much veg. It’s really bland. it is $ 8 i guess u get what u paid for… Not really. I’ve had dishes that are less than $ 5 bucks but it tastes like $ 20!

I started following Phở King Awesome on Instagram before I even tried their food, anticipating where they would park their truck next. This past weekend I was at the Khmer New Year parade in Long Beach and was so excited to see them participate in it. They set up shop at the festival at MacArthur Park and even though there were more established food vendors near by, I made sure my friends and I stayed in line to support them. I had the Phở which was delightful, the egg rolls hit the spot(especially liked that it wasn’t just stuffed with cabbage!), the chorizo and pineapple fried rice was on point and lastly, the owners gave my friend and I a complimentary chicken taco because of the wait(mind you they were last minute serving festival goers). My advice: get a group of friends together when you hit up the truck because you’re going to want to try everything! Thai Tea in the menu would be a plus!

I wish I could give 100 stars for this truck! The phở, the sushi, the egg rolls, the tacos, the Cajun chicken… I mean really! Perfection for my taste buds! Drove from Garden Grove to Long Beach to try it & I’m more than thrilled that I did! I was treated like a friend, not a customer! The cooks were having an absolute BLAST in there & still getting that food made to perfection! From the cleanliness of the truck, to the presentation & flavor of the food, I’m astonished & incredibly impressed! I’ll be making this a frequent midnight snack & don’t care how long it takes to get there! They’ve earned their great reputation & I cannot wait to take the trip again next weekend! Yes! It’s about time there’s some good quality phở that isn’t packed with MSG. The broth is a Clean broth. It’s not greasy, nor does it taste like your typical plain chicken broth(phở ga). What could be better than a bowl of hot soup, with the aromas of star anise and coriander and other spices on a cold night? They have other stuff too like egg rolls, King Bap, and fried rice. Customer service is one on one. They would be more than happy to answer your questions. Nailed it guys!
