Good Pizza. Like the create your own, don’t like that choices are limited for non pork eaters.

PizzaRev ENVIRONMENT Casual. Comfortable temp. even with the blazing fire. SERVICE(5÷27÷16 at around 6:30 p.m.) Nice. Efficient. Patient. Service with a smile is what I Iike best. Our pizzas came out super fast! THEGRUB — I had a very simple glass of Cabernet($ 5 or so)… hey, it did the trick for me, but I’m not a wine connoisseur by any means. Some beers served too. — Mediterranean pizza($ 8.25)… It comes with«white sauce, all-natural Italian cheese, feta, spinach, artichoke hearts, black olives.» I ordered this with added Italian sausage and garlic. The super thin — signature dough — crust had a nice crunch. Very minimal burnt taste. That white sauce, though… PARKING Free. Shared lots in the surrounding area. Typically packed around the clock. TIPS — order online — 3 doughs from which to choose — their signature dough, double dough or gluten-free — kids meals available! — No baby changing station in the women’s restroom. — High chairs available. — Those packets of grated parmesan were pretty fantastic… OVERALL This is a great lunch or light dinner spot if you’re already in the area. | Food: 4 | Service: 4 | Environment: 4 | Price: 4 | Review #473 ’16 Challenge #39

Pizza Rev is delicious! The workers here are always so friendly and patient :) I love to get my custom made pizza loaded with veggies. so loaded that it looks like a hill of vegetables. Yum! The workers never have a problem with the amount of veggies that I ask for on my pizza. I usually never finish my pizza and end up with having a couple slices for a quick snack later on. I love how they have artichokes and banana peppers and ricotta cheese. They have a huge variety of amazing toppings! I would definitely come and try if you have not yet!

Like other pizzarev places, you can customize your own pizza with any toppings they have. This place has an awesome crust… and it’s so crispy and perfect. It compliments their hot sauce. like this place.

Ok so every time we go to the movies we’re temped to check this place out and we finally did it and LOVEDIT! Pizza was awesome and the customer service was awesome! The whole crew was super sweet and pleasant. I had a margarita pizza with jalapeños and mushrooms and it was yummy! It’s also a great place to go on a date, there’s beer!

The pizzas were good, I’ll give them that. But 2 adults and 4 kids should never have to order 7 pizzas. Maybe if they actually put toppings on it would fill kids up!!!

I’ve tried a few make your own pizza places and PizzaRev is consistent. I’ve dined here a few times now and the service is great. I appreciate the employees to consistently change gloves, to avoid allergy contamination. Topping selections are plentiful. Flavors are great and the portion sizes are perfect. I’ve also ordered their salads and it’s just as good. It’s probably my go-to place for fast food dining at LB towne center.

Pizza Rev is another in the long list of casual fast order pizza places popping up throughout the area. Pizza Rev is located at the Long Beach Towne Center and sits between Panda Express and Islands near the movie theater. Although Pizza Rev follows the same basic premise as their competitors it’s ultimately the toppings and selections that make these places for me and Pizza Rev falls a bit short in that department for me when compared to Blaze, Pieology or even Pizza Studio. Now don’t misinterpret this as a dislike for the place as the pizza itself is good and of good quality it just doesn’t have as many choices as some of the other places and the integrity of the thin crust doesn’t hold up like the other places do. When I good into these places I like to keep my options open but I typically enjoy a spicy crust and/or spicy red sauce. These are not options I have found at Pizza Rev and although they do offer options such as spicy pepperoni and peppers this just doesn’t have the same appeal to me. I also look for a larger array of veggies such as zucchini or squash that I can use as toppings and these too appear to be MIA at Pizza Rev. The food itself taste good, the service is always fine and the price point is right where it should be but its these small things for me that make this a non-regular place for me when I want a fast casual pizza. The parking situation at the Long Beach Towne Center also does not help as the parking here flat out sucks and the entire design of this place is off putting. Overall I would give Pizza Rev a 3.5 but will round down due to the several small issues I have with the place. I would come back and eat here again if I happened to be at the Towne Center but I would not go out of my way to come here with better options close by.

Location: This pizza rev location is relatively new — its in the Long Beach Towne Center right by the movie theaters. Because it’s in a shopping complex, there is of course, plenty of parking around. On weekends, you may have to park further away because it does get pretty crowded but we can always find a spot. Just head towards the theaters from wherever you end up parking, and you will find it. Service: We went for the first time on a Friday night around 7:30 pm. There was a small line but the wait wasn’t bad. The people making our pizza were friendly enough. No complaints about the line servers or the cashiers. From the point in line where we started to «make our pizzas to receiving them at the pick up counter, it was about 10 minutes. Not bad. Food: We’ve been to a couple of these«made to order» pizza places. PizzaRev ranks up there for me. They have a good amount of options, and what I believe is a monthly topping that rotates. When we went it was roasted corn — the corn itself looked good, but truth be told, was dry and didn’t taste great. I like the options for sauces — red, pink, white or bbq sauce. Not every place has that many options. I personally like bbq sauce on my pizza. Toppings for both meat and veggies was a good selection — the crumbled meatball topping was pretty good. Overall: Good pizza joint and great for right before a movie.

Remember that happy hour is from 4−7pm! The special is a pint of beer and a craft your own pizza for $ 9.95. Like, where else in Long Beach can we get a meaty deal? I got lunch here and ordered a craft your own pizza for $ 8.95, along with a fountain drink for $ 1.99. The servers are really patient with building pizzas for first timers, like myself! They make sure to answer all questions, explain contents of each meat, sauce, and cheese! For my pizza, I chose a wide variety of meat and veggies. Doing so is a cheat way to intake extra protein and vegetables. Take advantage of it! The line starts off with what kind of sauce you’d like to add on the base of the crust: white, red, tomato, and pesto. The next station is where the diverse meat selection kicks in: meatball, olives, spicy pepperoni, olives, etc. The last station has veggies and toppings: spinach, cilantro, mint, bell peppers, jalapeños, oregano, Parmesan cheese, and more! Though I didn’t order beer, I noticed the drinks blackboard is posted behind the cash register. There’s a good selection of booze and wine to choose from: coors, budlight, blue moon, etc. On my next trip to Long Beach Town Center, my mission is to dine at Pizza Rev for happy hour!!!

Ordered delivery and crafted my own pizza: D Olive oil as a base, topped with vegan cheese!!!(+++) mushrooms, basil, spinach, and garlic. It was soooo good, a little bit oily but I’m guessing that’s just because my base was olive oil, although they did forget to finish it off with the pesto sauce /: and the size wasn’t what I expected; was like a medium/small pizza but it’s whatever. Also it doesn’t come with much spinach or basil, it’s as if they threw in three-four leaves. Coming back fosho if they’re down to making it right this time.

You stole a pizza my heart. This is the typical«build you own pizza» place that you see everywhere now. The customer service was great and the workers were very friendly. They didn’t even scoff at me when I asked for one single meatball in the middle of my pizza :) Much like the other pizza places that you visit you can customize your own pizza with whatever toppings they have. I’m no pizza expert… but I feel like i’ve visited almost every kind of pizza place like this. In a world with a pizza place in every corner, there has to be something that makes you stand out. This place has an awesome crust… and it’s so crispy and perfect. It also pairs nicely with their hot sauce(more like sweet ketchup) as well. My complaint for a lot of other places is that the crust ends up soggy, but this place had none of those problems. It was great.

My friend actually recommended this place as I was dying of hunger and willing to settle for anything that would satiate my needs. Hearing that this place had a similar concept to pieology(which I have a strong affinity for), I was more than willing to give it a try. The first thing that stuck out to me was that it had an extensive alcoholic menu, well for a pizza place. I wasn’t able to try it out, but I’ll be sure to on my next visit because beer and pizza doesn’t sound like a bad idea at all. The concept is exactly the same — a build your own pizza, put anything and everything(I mean everything, I put all the meat toppings, which included more than 9, and felt somewhat embarrassed of myself), but if you were scared of the freedom of choices, then they had a few preselected signature items on the menu that you could opt out for. They have more choices for toppings than other pizza places that I’ve been through, like white sauce, different types of sausages, select meats and as aforementioned, a beer and wine menu. The one aspect I like about this place is that they don’t skimp out on your toppings. After my pizza was done being under construction, I’m pretty sure my pizza was about to give out if handled incorrectly. The only one thing I could pick out to be unsatisfactory is that they take their time to construct the pizzas — there was no one else in line but it took longer compared to the other places I’ve been to with the exact same set up. But they put care into your pizza to make sure all the ingredients aren’t just thrown on mindlessly, and their workers are pretty friendly. Their prices are about the same as other places and I personally would sacrifice a little time for better quality and customer service.

Yasssssssssssss finally a place with white sauce! White sauce has also been my favorite pizza sauce and can’t forget about the BBQ sauce either. #delicious This will probably be my go to pizza spot now. How can pizza ever be better? You get to create your own pizza with whatever you want on it!!! #pizzaheaven with unlimited toppings! It also doesn’t take that long to bake either. Very fast casual type of restaurant. They also have lots of different hot sauces. I really like the garlic one! :) Other than that, Friendly staff. Clean and nice ambiance. Lots of seating which is awesome.

I brought my son here recently when Pizza Rev offered pizzas for $ 5. I saw an ad pop up on my FB page and we happened to be close, so we checked it out. I’ve had Pieology and Pizza Studio and what I can say about Pizza Rev is, the owner/manager is super friendly, as was most of the staff. I liked that their crust wasn’t too chewy like Pieology. I really liked that they had capers and fresh arugula. I’m partial to Pizza Studio since they offer 4 different crusts, grilled zucchini, and have delicious truffle salt, but I’d have to say, kudos to Pizza Rev for having fresh Arugula on $ 5 pizza day, as well as tons of other toppings without running out. Would have given 5 stars if they had grilled zucchini! I like that I can reheat the crust from Pizza Rev. I’ve tried on a few occasions to reheat Pieology and they were epic failed attempts. Hard, tough, chewy. Not good. But with Pizza Rev, even though I reheated the leftovers, the thin crust remained pliable and didn’t turn rock hard. My son really liked the pizza here. He always gets the Margherita with pepperoni. I like to pile on mozzarella, bleu cheese, bacon, artichoke hearts, capers, basil, pesto, mushrooms, and arugula wherever I go. If you haven’t tried Pizza Rev, you should check it out!

No bad for fast food, chipotle style build your own paper thin $ 9. pizza. The SFB folks working the place don’t listen to you, and act like zombie pizza-tronic humanoids, as they assemble your pizza in a sleep like state, or maybe they are just on medical marijuana, kinda seemed like it. its a little better than edible. I had it 2x now can say that they are safe to use when at the movie funnel for the Carson 26 theaters. Not worth a special trip, but if you need a quick bite while waiting for your movie time, you could do worse. There are a plethora of toppings, nothing really esoteric and cool, I do like the fennel sausage, but the«fresh» garlic comes out of a jar. Its that dehydrated, rehydrated stuff. No bueno Pizza Rev. Their red sauce is decent, cheese, is slapped on fairly generously and they have a beer and wine license.

My husband dines here with his coworkers as they don’t work too far away. We were in the area with our 3 dogs and stopped in at PizzaRev for lunch.(We got our pizzas to go.) This particular PizzaRev is in the Long Beach Towne Center near the Starbucks. Custom toppings are always fun. I got mine with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, garlic, red onion, mushroom, and pineapple. So like a Hawaiian pizza with a twist.(LOL) I’ve been at other PizzaRev restaurants before and the pizza looked a lot smaller to me here(could be just me because I was so hungry). The pizza was still delicious, but still a bit pricey at $ 8.25 for a «mini» pizza.(supposed to be 11 inches I think.) Add $ 2 for gluten free dough and add $ 1 for vegan cheese. There were three staff members working and all were welcoming and friendly. Either way, probably not somewhere I’d eat a lot, but when in the mood for a personal sized pizza, it rarely disappoints. 98⁄100 Reviews for 2015

Rev up your engines! It’s time to grab a pizza something delicious! PizzaRev, located at the Long Beach Towne Center in front of the movie theatre, is a build your own pizza place a la Pieology. With 11 inch pizzas at $ 8.25, you can personally create the ideal pie to eat. Our Way pizzas are on the menu, too. Those are for diners that don’t want to go through the hassle of choosing what they want. The line had 3 staff members working it. One for the dough & sauce, the other for meat selections & the third for veggies & placing pizzas in the open flame stone ovens. It took awhile for me to start assembling my pizza creation, but not unbearably so. My masterpizza– Dough-PizzaRev signature dough crust Sauce-white alfredo Cheese-cow & buffalo milk Italian mozzarella, feta & ricotta, Meat-beef pepperoni, sweet fennel sausage, Canadian bacon, grilled chicken & anchovies Veggies-mushrooms, red onions, spinach, garlic, green bell peppers, artichoke hearts, black olives, basil & arugula After a short cook time, my masterpizza was ready to be vanquished by yours truly & it was yummy in the tummy. The blend of cheese provided the delicious mélange of salt & fat. The veggies were fresh & the meat were tasty. The best part? The anchovies. I’m Filipino, so I love the taste of oily anchovies. I asked for basil pesto sauce on the side to be used as a dip, which added a lot to the already wonderful flavor profile. Lastly, a liberal dousing of Cholula hot sauce which I grabbed from the well-appointed stock of hot sauce, provided the always welcome heat. If Cholula’s not your fancy, Tabasco(red & green), Frank’s Red Hot & Sriracha are available, too. Can’t forget about the awesome Coca-Cola machine! With enough flavor combinations to puzzle a Calculus major, you’d be hard-pressed not finding something to quench your thirst. Of course, I went with my usual — lemon lime sparking water. Beer & wine are on hand for those looking for a tipple. Service was good. The employees did their best to move the line along, and the smiling woman handing out the finished pizzas was quite hospitable. A few high & low tables are located by the assembly line, with more tables & booths on the right of the kitchen. The restroom was clean when I used it. Parking is… well, the Long Beach Towne Center. Can be crowded & hard to come by, so try to arrive during off hours. PizzaRev, you’ve shown me what you’re working with & I’m a happy camper. For a reasonable $ 8.25, I can create my own custom pizza with quality ingredients. I immensely enjoyed my masterpizza, with my personal blend of cheese, meat & other accoutrements & I’m already trying to figure out what my next pizza will consist of. Highly recommend!
