This is definitely a place for Central Wrigley kids to hang out. Judging by the many kids and families that attend this park on a daily basis, I think that they concur. If you’re not within walking distance, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. But it is a nice gesture from the City of Long Beach to keep parks like this in every neighborhood(by the way, the rocking horse is no longer there).

Great park. lots of grass and different types of Cati. It’s cool to learn about the plants and butterflies that hangout at the park. The trees are so large the canopy that the leaves create can actually shield you from rain. Plenty of room to lay down and watch the clouds go by, read a book, play some games, take a nap, or generally do whatever it is one does at a park on the grass. There is a play area. Swings for babies & adult kids ;-) There is padded ground. Some trash bins. No restrooms. A few benches. A short walking trail.

**Also known as Pocket Park** This park is pretty good — definitely serves it’s purpose as a «playground and park». Before this place was built, this area was just an overgrown space that did not serve a purpose, so it has definitely improved the neighborhood overall. This space has a smaller sized average playground, a few benches, and a path through the park that leads to the LA River Bike Path. My only complaint with this place is the unwanted people that it can attract. Since this place is so secluded, it can attract certain crimes and drug users at times.

I’m a definite fan. It’s in walking distance to my house. The playground is nice and well maintained. It’s got wood mulch to cushion falls and there are a few benches around the play area. There is a large grassy area on either side of the jungle gym which is nice and a packed dirt path from one end to another. I do wish that the play yard were gated for little ones who are just learning to run. I find that it’s a good spot to run into other neighborhood families. There are no other amenities or facilities, so no drinking fountains or bathrooms.

The bike path is right behind this park. I see teenagers come off the bike path and smoke weed in the park. Even when kids are here. It is awful. This park is not in the best neighborhood but they managed to have nice playground equipment and everything is clean. No broken equipment.
