The view and restaurant has a very nice ambiance and the service is great but don’t go there for the food. They have very few selections and the food has very small portions and not played well. I ordered a Caesar Salad and they didn’t even cut up the lettuce. It was legit lettuce leaves with sauce put on a plate

Great view and warm service but this time I was disappointed in my meal for the price. Warm, yummy roles served by a very friendly gentleman. I would avoid the onion rings-way too much dough, really thick. I prefer them lightly coated. Wedge salad was good. Sides: cream corn: delicious and tasted like candy. The augratin potatoes were tasty. The brussel sprouts were tasty but not tender. I was most disappointed in the steak. At 50.00 I would have expected the rib eye to be delicious. However, both my husband and I thought the steaks were a miss. He ordered his medium rare and felt it was tough in spots. I ordered mine medium and just felt it lacked flavor. Our guest ordered filets and seemed happy with their steaks. We’ll come back again and see how that goes. For 50.00 my husband prepares a much better steak. Hmmmm. Maybe we’ll just stay home.

This place is one of a kind. The pork chop was amazing! My husband’s steak was one of a kind. The scenery was amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat

Very disappointing for a steakhouse. We were wondering where the Malibu chicken was with our very pedestrian NY strip. The Sunday prime rib required the jaws of Hercules to chew. Go to Flemmings or Ruth Chris or Mortons or 555 But don’t go here.

I took my fiancé here right before the proposal and boy did the Queensview enhanced the night in more that one way. From the beginning we were kindly greeted and seated promptly to our seats. The room was dim and had a great ambiance to it with a live jazz band playing in the background, the food was wow! the quality was top notch.

Just amazing! DINEOUTLONG-BEACHWEEKFEB28-MARCH 8 The queens view is located on the third floor inside house. When entering the restaurant you can take the elevator or the stairs. We were in town for the Dine In Long Beach week. We were impressed! The floor host gave us a window seats with beautiful views of the bay and the queen Mary. We arrive at 5:30 just in time to enjoy the sunset just priceless with dinner & drinks. We were then greeted by our waiter, we received the regular menu but we also for the Dine in Long Beach menu. The Dine in Long Beach menu was a win the Dinner price($ 50) per person include options of a onion soup or beets & mix green salad, 4 Main entrees we had the fillet mignon with a scoop on smash and sultee mushrooms. Then we had the option for desert a burlee cheesecake or sobert ice cream. We both tried the onion soup(needed more taste not the best presentation smell or choice for a date) the beets salad(was well put together but the dressing was sour). The flet meinon was excellent well cooked. Our desert was the cheesecake brûlée tasted delicious. Our server was attentive and efficient. The setting was classic and welcoming. The live music stated 20min late but added a perfect touch to our evening!

Living in So. Cal and working for over 6 years in Long Beach, I never did make it up to Queensview Steakhouse. I had several meals at Parker’s Lighthouse, downstairs but not until this week was I able to indulge in this gem. This restaurant is nestled above Parker’s Lighthouse. The atmosphere is very nice and if you’re at the right table, you get some nice views of the Queen Mary. The service is stellar, the food is delicious, the wine list is plentiful and their cocktails are made just right. We ordered the iced seafood tower and doubled it, for a party of 8. We also had some interesting«surf and turf» rolls, which consisted of a California roll, topped with a piece of filet mignon. Quite tasty. The entrees ordered ranged from steak and seafood… I was stuffed from the appetizers and opted for the roasted beet salad. The place was quiet on a Tuesday night and we all enjoyed the experience, ambiance service and the food. I understand weekends can get very busy, so make reservations. Parking is free for the first two hours with a validation from the lot. Overall, a very memorable experience. Good for dates, anniversary and business dinners.

We came here for New Year’s Eve dining and it was an amazing experience! The Queen’s view which is located on the second floor of the restaurant has the perfect place to see the fireworks overlooking the water. Our waiter was very nice and courteous as well. He gave us two drinks of champagne and noise makers before the 12 am countdown. The amazing part with Long Beach NYE fireworks, there is a 9 pm(to celebrate with New York NYE) and 12 am again for California version NYE so if you miss the earlier one, you can get to downtown for the later show! The food was great! The ambiance was romantic! Also, if you are not there for romantic scenes and would like to enjoy an NYE party with friends, they have a section on the first floor in Parksview, where they provide a dj and different genre of music. You can reserve place for your friends or co workers, etc and celebrate NYE without dealing the whole formal dining experience. Overall it’s a great place to enjoy with people you love or hangout with!

We had an amazing pre-Valentine’s Day dinner here with a romantic setting, beautiful views, live music and great service. It was a four course prix fixe menu. The chef sent us complimentary amuse-bouche. Cocktails were yummy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was just a little bit on the pricier side but really good overall.

Great spot in Long Beach with beautiful views of the water and Queen Mary ship. I came here for happy hour which had great drink specials, as well as ½ off of their«lounge» menu. For happy hour we shared their sushi rolls, crab cake, and onion rings. All were very good. The only complaint I have is that the onion rings were more greasy & soggy rather than crispy. They could have fried it a little longer. I think the crab cake was my favorite. Great flavor and came with a chipotle remoulade, as well as a delicious corn salsa on the side. For dinner we all had steak. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and they have plenty of side dishes to choose from. We shared a bottle of wine as well. The service was very accommodating. They also played live music. And it wasn’t too loud — which was perfect because we were still able to have conversations without feeling the need to raise our voice. Beautiful, spacious restaurant as well. I can see how this place would be a hot spot during the summertime with the gorgeous views and the patio outside.

great view. great service. great ambience augmented by a talented jazz pianist in the corner. ordered veal — great until i got to the central portion, very tough. i always thought veal = baby cow = soft. by the time i complained it was too late as i already tried getting through most of it. waitress, super nice, should’ve gotten her name, asked the chef who said they must’ve hit a nerve(literally, must be the sciatic nerve i’m guessing). had i brought it up sooner they probably would’ve replaced it. instead we got comp’d dessert.

Dinner here, and with an incredible view, is a sybaritic experience to be savored. Every bite. Every breathtaking glance. It is a dining experience complete with live keyboard music; a separate bar from Parker’s; and an upscale menu. Sampling fresh grilled fish and shellfish towers; prime steaks(and the best served in Long Beach); chops; and mouthwatering desserts. Service is also some of Long Beach’s best. David M., as Manager has repeatedly and attentively, looked after my guests and David, as server has taken excellent care of my guests and I. We are spoiled. Queensview’s Team and its view, are cause to remember a special occasion and yet, be familiar due the hospitality. My recommendation is reserve on and make any night, Tuesday to Saturday, memorable. Parking although validated, can cost upwards $ 8.00 for a three-hour, cocktails-before-dinner service. The specialness of the space is its 360 degree waterfront-window and its small-seated number of diners — it’s reminiscent of a former decade’s supper club. Romantic and hip.

Best kept secret for happy hour and jazz music! Wonderful lounge menu and drink specials. ‘Memba back in the day when it was a dumpy bar and banquet space, now it’s all grown up, all shiny and pretty. Average crowd for a Thursday night, go during happy hour for excellent prices for the same food. This may seem like a touristy spot but who talks this way? What’s a tourist spot supposed to look like? Circus circus in Las Vegas? People from overseas? Midwest? East coast with ugly Cesar men’s haircuts? Nobody with tanned skin? Men and women that dress the same? Men that wear socks with shorts? What’s the best restaurant? Whatever your stomach desires. Is it touristy? Pshawwww… no such thing out here in Long Beach. Just a good variety food and not too expensive! Been living in LB for over 20 years and I go to ‘tourist’ spots? Who puts up borders and labels like this? Strange folks? Read the previous paragraphs. No need to compare or make it like other cities? Just go where your stomach wants to be fed. Long Beach is Long Beach, everything is original. Stop comparing to other cities. Relax chillax, tourists.

Talk about a 5 star experience! Food, service, atmosphere, location, view, and the overall experience! This is that one fancy steak house to bring your loving partner to on your anniversary, birthday or just to be very romantic! Request to be seated near a window so you can see the awesome view from the third floor above. Since the moment we arrived, we got treated like royalty. The whole experience was in fact royalty and I really liked how the manager would come over to our table and ask how were doing(brownie points!!). My boyfriend and I both ordered the Filet Minion, but I ordered mine with some crab. The steak was something you would give to like a king and queen, it was the best steak we have both ever had! Super juicy and cooked to our delights. Once we licked our plates clean, it was time to see what royalty would pay for an experience like this, yeah it was a pretty chubby bill, but it was worth it!!! Best steak house hands down! :)

This is an amazing hidden gem on the shoreline! The Parker gets top billing for this venue, but the food and the atmosphere are superior at the Queens View. We enjoyed the Sunday prime rib dinner with the andoille mac and cheese. The steak was cooked to temp and had flavor. The mac and cheese had a delightful light crispy bread crust baked on top. The service was perfect. We dined downstairs at Parkers the night before, and saw it was casual dress and mistakenly thought it was the same at the Queens… you might want to wear more than a tshirt and shorts… many other diners were dressed more of smart casual.

Well — it started out with me feeling quite special — mainly because of how great the front people were! The longer I was there — the more my special feeling simmered down to mediocre at best! The cleanliness and décor was great, but the price — for what I got — was way overboard! I have never been to a place like this — so it’s worth a stop, but not if you want to keep prices down. The best part is that you won’t leave with either a stuffed tummy or wallet! On the plus side — my lobster was the most tender I’ve ever had — the pan seared scallops — well — let’s just say I’ve have far better!

Selected this restaurant for a special occasion meal … My nieces graduation from CSULB. Went solely off reviews via Unilocal and TA. Definitely was not disappointed. First off plan on spending roughly 100/per person. I am no chef or food critic… I simply like what I like and my feeling is you are paying for wonderful food, spectacular service and an incredible view. The staff was very nice and not pretentious at all like you find sometimes in higher end steakhouses. Our server was phenomenal and did not miss a beat… He took such good care of us half the time I did not even notice. The food was wonderful… A table of 5 we ended up ordering all this food and sort of passing it around. They bring you bread in the beginning and I am telling you right now that the biscuits are addicting. Not sure what the spin was on them but I could easily have eaten a dozen and embarrassed myself.(Served with a maple pecan butter). We had clam chowder and a Caesar salad to start. Both fantastic. Many places don’t know how to do a Caesar right in terms of the dressing but these folks do. It is easily enough for 2 – 3 people. Also beware of the sides, also easily shareable… including the enormous baked potatoes. My favorite of the sides we ordered was the Mac/Cheese. I ordered the Filet Oscar… O-M-G… Bravo on getting it medium rare not an easy feat I have found over the years… The portion of crab on top was generous and the Bernaise delish. We split two desserts… Coffee Crème brûlée and this triple chocolate cake that was heavenly. The meal and experience was memorable. As someone not from Long Beach the only confusing thing for us was not knowing the restaurant was on the third floor of a bigger restaurant but not a big deal… was just a smidge confusing when we arrived.

Took a friend out for her b’day dinner and she opted for Parker’s Lighthouse, we looked over the menu before entering and found lots of options! My friend being a chef I figured she’d pick a place with tasty dishes… Once inside it was a visual exercise to take in everything, I saw that there was a view so when asked if we wanted to sit outside or in I just asked for the best view. The hostess said, «Oh! That will be the steakhouse upstairs.» She had me at steak! We were lead to a red carpet with felt ropes for the elevator, pretty fun! B’day girl was feeling special! Once the doors open another hostess was waiting and guided us to our table. Fun floor setting! Windows all around, a stand-up bass and keyboard were setting a good vibe, and an enthusiastic waiter to get us started. Wine was selected, breads were delivered with options to suit tastes, yummy dishes selected, huge laughs obtained at points in our convo, and a phone camera tip even made it’s way in. Haha She had the filet mignon and I had the lamb chops(I had originally gone for the pork chop but they were out), we both wound up eyeing the same sides of asparagus and mac-cheese. The side are large servings and separate so as to share, the mac alone could have been a meal all it’s own! All was eaten with ooo’s and aahhh’s, and to top things off dessert was a free dish of coffee crème brûlée for the birthday girl! This place will remain a location for special occasions for me!
