I’ve been going to Dr. Gentile for 26 years now, that says it all. I’ve had my share of dental work along with teeth cleanings twice a year. His professionalism and knowledge along with the fun office atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. And his staff is incredible as well, always very well organized and helpful. I always tell anyone who asks, Long Beach has the best dentist around.

After spending countless hours researching dentist for my three kids I found Dr Gentile. My son had a bad experience with dentist in the past and Dr Gentile really listened to me and him about our concerns. He doesn’t push useless services. Past dentist wanted to sedate my son for basic cavities being taken care of! He does get nervous and anxious but Dr Gentile talks him through the procedure. That’s what I wanted, when I was a kid you learned to deal with being nervous and growing through it but everywhere we went they wanted to make him a «cocktail» or bring in an anesthesiologist for an additional $ 1000 out of MY pocket! I wanted someone who would work with him to get comfortable going to the dentist and doctor as he grows up to be an adult and I feel like I have found that with this practice. Plus his front office is really kind and they are all so wonderful with kids! Our whole family will be going to him and I will recommend him to anyone that asks.

Dr. Gentile is an excellent dentist that I have seen for several years now while living in Long Beach. He does not overbook appointments and his office staff is courteous and helpful. In addition to regular cleanings, he has removed one of my wisdom tooth (I had a super quick recovery because of his insight to rotate the curved tooth out instead of pulling it straight out which would have caused it to break). He continues to monitor my other wisdom teeth and informs me of anything I should be concerned with. I plan to continue to see Dr. Gentile for as long as I am living in Southern California.

Great dentist, great staff!!! Ive been coming here for 5+ years and I pay for PPO insurance just so I can keep him as my dentist. He is light with the needles, and makes a root canal seem effortless. I have refered all my friends here and atleast 3 people from my work have made the switch to him.

Yay! I am a fan. This is somewhere we do not like to go. But, since we need to and have to. This is the dentist to see Dr. Gentile. It is always a pleasure.

Dr. Gentile is a great dentist. He’s very personable and makes you feel at ease.

Oh Dr. Gentile… he’s not only a dentist, but can you give a low down on the theory of why my bottom teeth have slightly moved to boy advice that is so dead on that it makes you think you have gone to therapy and not just to get your teeth cleaned. He is very talented at what he does and definitely is very good about not being aggressive w/​your gums or doing procedures that are not necessary.
As much as I like him, the office environment is not exactly awesome. But you trade it out for good service. I had a dentist in Chicago, and her office was like a cool club: all white with trendy orange accents… I take Dr. Gentile’s expertise over the Crate & Barrel furniture anytime!
He also lives in my ‘hood so its always nice to run into your dentist at Bono’s or the Toyota Grand Prix drinking Tecate. He could be your pal too!
