Sgt Peppers

My boyfriend and friends brought me here as a surprise, thinking it’d be a fun way to spend my birthday. Yeah, not so much. The food was fine, service was okay, but I couldn’t get past the despicable sense of humor of one of the pianists, which equates lewd, frankly hateful, insults against women with comedy. I left in tears, feeling violated. Worst birthday ever.
Never again.
Get it together.

We went there for New Years Eve. They wanted $ 12 cover charge. I told them I had three friends joining me when I got us a table. When my friends arrived they were charged $ 25 cover charge. I went back to the host and asked what was up in the difference in cover charge between mine and my friends. He said, «those are your friends», and paid them back the difference to make all of our cover charges $ 12. I am caucasion and my friends are Phillipino. The host was caucasion. You draw your own conclusions. Once in, it was fun though I did think we should have left on principle and asked for our cover charge back.

Evening started off having a great time celebrating my Daughter’s 40^th b-​day, place was super crowed and spacing between tables and chairs is non-​existence. The group of people next to us also seemed to be having a good time until one of our group was assaulted by one of theirs, within seconds bouncers were everywhere. They were VERY DISRESPECTFULL TO MY WIFE AND OTHER WOMEN IN OUR PARTY. We were kicked out of the club and made to leave 1^st, telling us the other group would have to leave after we cleared out. Did not stick around to see if they left, and WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT CLUB AGAIN. I truly believe they fill the place to maximum capacity and it is hard to enjoy one’s self when you are right on top of somebody else…

Amazing piano players put on a great show!. Service however, awful. I am a server my self and we never once got checked on. We ended up going up to the bar for drinks. Will come back but will probably sit at the bar.

The entertainment here was awesome. The piano players are very funny and keeps the crowd going. The food was good and the drinks were good and strong. Will definitely be back for more. Just a tip… make reservations to sit closer to the stage.

I have come here several times over the years. I always have an amazing experience. Our group usually plans to come here for birthdays after eating down at one of the restaurants at shoreline village. It’s not a bad walk from there either. The cover is about 10 bucks but totally worth it. The pianist can play pretty much any song and have there own twist on many of the songs. I usually leave here from with sore abs from laughing so much. You can also have them write messages on the mirror behind the pianist for a price. The way the high roller messages work is you just need to pay more than the last person. The price they paid for the message is on the mirror. It’s pretty cool to have your friends birthday message written on the mirror all night. Oh and if you really want to have a good time and embarrass your friend make sure you write a note on a card put like 10 – 20 bucks in it and have them call your friend on stage for a Happy Birthday. The drinks are strong and reasonably price. I usually get a vodka soda and never feel cheated on the alcohol. They have several fun drinks as well, we got sometime of punch bowl with all kinds of crazy straws in it. It was good but be careful cuz it will hit you later. Oh and the more you drink the more you will find yourself singing along with the dueling pianos which is always fun!! All in all I am a repeat customer here for life. Thanks Sgt. Peppers for all always taking awesome care of us.

In Amerika gerade der Trend, Pinaobars in der sich zwei Klavierspieler duellieren und aktuelle Hits und Evergreens in ihren eigenen Fassungen rausschmettern. Wirklich sehr witzig und unterhaltsam. Hier kann man seine Wünsche äußern und für ein kleines Trinkgeld werden dann die Musikwünsche erfüllt.
Zu trinken gibt es alles was das Herz bekehrt, die Lage nah am Pike ist auch ideal. Wer in Long Beach ist sollte einen Abend im Peppers verbringen.
