Sinclair Gas and Dino Mart

I about died when I saw they’d opened a Sinclair Gas in Long Beach, on the corner of Orange and Wardlow. These stations were a stalwart of my midwestern childhood summers, along with the free [green, plastic, brontosaurus] banks they used to give out. I’d completely forgotten about them until one day I looked up and there was the familiar green dinosaur in the sky, not to mention the über-​groovy Dino Mart sign. I mean, DINO MART. How can you not want to stop right in when you see that? Although, admittedly, it’s just a little mini-​mart, but still… The gas is good ‘n cheap, too, and the times I’ve been there it’s not insanely crowded like the AM/​PM, although the gas prices are comparable, or better. Super clean, super cheap gas and green dinosaurs all over everything. What’s not to love?
