Stanley A Golanty, MD

Dr. Golanty is a very highly recommended and respected physician within the community in internal medicine and endocrinology, per the medical students he allows to learn at his practice. He is kind, offers information and answers questions patiently and thoroughly. I found him after my dr. retired and no one recommended another dr. for me with my several health issues. Dr. Golanty fills my requirements for a good well educated medical doctor who loves what he does. Unfortunately it appears the reviews have been directed towards the staff which should be handled by the office manager not the doctor.

I totally agree with the reviews here. I have been having the hardest time getting a medical supply prescription filled through them.
You cannot make a person do their job correctly and these people don’t care to. So I am constantly having to call them for follow up and all they do is play the blame game.

The office staff does not follow through. A nurse practitioner saw me on my first visit, a sleep study was ordered, and I was told that they had to check my insurance eligibility before I was able to be scheduled, and they would contact me in a couple of days. 2 weeks later I never received a call and was in the office for a follow up appt. I inquired about sleep study that was ordered. Then was told by office staff that I had a PPO and should have no problem getting it scheduled and they would send paperwork over. After study was done on July 22, I was told by study tech the report would be sent to doctor within the week. I received no call from the office or the doctor a week later. I called the second week and was told by office staff that report was not sent and they would flow up with sleep center and get back to me in a couple of days. Today, 3 wks after, I call the office and they continue to say they didn’t receive report from sleep center. I call the sleep center and was told that the report was sent 8÷5÷15, and they didn’t get a call stating my doctors office never received it. And after being placed on hold for another 15 minutes for someone to assist me at Dr. Golanty office, I’m told they will follow up with the sleep study center and will call me back. I called sleep center and they confirmed it was resent today. I called again a few hours later to confirm they received the fax from sleep center today, and was told not to call the office that the person handling this would call me, it’s 3pm now when I initially called at 9am this morning. Once I receive my results I will be finding another doctor with office staff that are capable of following through.

0% follow through on their promises to me. After I called both them AND my pharmacy to get Rx filled, insurance wouldn’t cover it, and they never bothered to call me to let me know, even after I’d explained to them I’d left the original med in NY. Only 8 hours later when I went to pick it up and it wasn’t filled did one of them tell me it wasn’t her «responsibility.» In all my experiences with the staff, not once have they made it easy for me, telling me that I «had attitude.» Maybe if they did what they said they would, they would make it easier on themselves. Oh well. Pity.

Medical staff are lazy and apathetic to patients. They treated me and my wife like second class citizens.
This is not so much a Doctor’s office than a joke.
If you are looking for compassion service and professionalism, this is not the place for you. I urge you to look elsewhere.
