Great service. Very personable Baristas! She cleaned up and was rewarded. Very happy girl!

I frequent here often to study. There aren’t many bad things about this place, except for the fact that the places to sit are really close, which makes it hard to find a spot to sit down on a cold day. Other than that, they’re pretty quick during lunch time, and they’re still really friendly, and make every visit pleasant.

the new flat white is freakin good. velvety sweet espresso with foam. i add two raw sugars to my grande and its one of my favorite drinks. pastries are always meh. i did see that started serving mallorcan bread which i love, but they arent a bakery. also, not giving me a receipt and always have to ask is annoying. dont forget your receipt cuz sometimes they have specials and you get ripped off if you dont get your receipt. sometimes if i get overly annoyed with them barrage of dumb questions while im ordering, i take 5 pounds of napkins and straws and sugar as payback.

Hardcore Starbucks fan here. I live less than a mile east of this location, but just finally visited here a couple days ago. There are 3 other Starbucks between my home and this one, but I think I may now have found my new fave! My biggest concern was where to park, so I called ahead and an employee told me that I may park in the enclosed garage attached to the building and SB will validate for 2hrs! Every accessible parking spot is numbered, so I was a bit concerned, but later found out that you may park anywhere that doesn’t specifically say«reserved», or «handicapped». Upon walking from my car to the Starbucks, I noticed there are no signs indicating where you should exit or walk out to the retail stores, just a sign saying«no pedestrian exit» near where you drive in and out. I noticed a small hallway to the right and saw a nondescript exit door that I thought might lead me right into the Starbucks, so I took it. It looked to be a heavy«fire proof» type door, so I gave it a good push, only to disturb a homeless man sleeping on the ground in the alcove right outside this exit door.(I would expect no less in Downtown Long Beach). This exit door opened up right along the side of the Starbucks outdoor patio. Yaaaaay, I found OZ! I entered through the outdoor patio along 3rd St. Inside is cavernous, nicely decorated, with tons of seating. The staff was super friendly, the line moved very fast, and my iced espresso was ready in no time! As I let my eyes wander, I noticed that the majority of customers appeared to be somehow related to the huge«disco ball» new courthouse across the street. Lots of bloated lawyer types, sitting in small groups of 2 or 3, all looking a tad bit uncomfortable in their snug suits, constantly checking their phones. Intermingled in this crowd where several people obviously getting ready for their day in court, including a hard looking trans-g man, conversing with her attorney, quite obviously wanting the whole place to be aware of, and possibly admire his/her new boobies. (Perhaps not the best top to wear in front of a judge?) I noticed a few internet hobos lurching around, sitting at the best tables, no sign of any Starbucks purchase anywhere near them… seems de rigueur these days. I was pleased to notice the beer and wine selection being offered, as well as the evening food selections. The barista informed me that there was a wine tasting going on that evening. Nice touch! I think I will become a regular here. *REMEMBERTOGETYOURGARAGEPARKINGVALIDATEDWHENYOUBUYYOURCOFFEE, ORIT’S A HEFTYFLATRATEOF $ 12.00!!! Nice, clean restroom, with NO etched in graffiti yet!!! SHOCKER!!!

Clean. Friendly staff. They have Starbucks evenings(beer, wine available). I’ve been many times and always get prompt and friendly service in an upscale atmosphere.

Came here while on break from serving jury duty across the street. Fast service. The baristas are extremely friendly. Not from the LBC but if anybody is in court and need a quick coffee fix, come to this Starbucks

So… I don’t love Starbucks(sorry), but I do like this location. I travel out of Long Beach quite a bit, and this location is on the way to the Catalina Express. They are open early(5am on weekdays), and are always prompt with service. Everything I’ve always ordered has taken just a few minutes(no more than 3) to arrive, which is nice if you’re in a hurry. You’d be surprised but at 5:45AM, this place can get a bit busy(Harbor Patrol, Police — it’s right across from a courthouse, earlybirds, etc.), but it’s still pretty quick. The only thing that can be ever so slightly a downside is the parking. MOSTOFTHETIME you can grab a spot right out front, but parking is very limited and not everyone abides by the time limits. That’s happened to me on two occasions, and I’ve had to miss my morning tea because of that.(There really isn’t a lot of street parking.)

Review is from a visit April 2015. I’m from Seattle — so I should LOVE Starbucks — right? Oh you couldn’t be more wrong … and here’s why. The coffee always taste burnt! I can’t believe I just paid 4 bucks for this crap. The only thing great about this place is it has outside seating and a beautiful mural. Ewww this coffee is so gross. Sorry to the Pine Ave. location — I accidentally left this review at their location. It’s been deleted!

This Starbucks is awesome possum! Located in DTLB, right when you exit to Broadway off the 710, you can’t miss it! There is plenty of seating, I didn’t have to fight a beezy for a table and bump elbows at the communal table. There is also a patio for even more space. Did you know they also serve wine? Craft beers?(They stop serving at 8:30PM) And have an evening menu?! So hip and cool. I know a lot of people are so against dates at cafes, but I think this Starbucks has to be an exception, before going on a real date though. Workers here are super nice too and give you that home-y mom and pop shop vibe that you usually miss out on at Starbucks. Definitely will be back at this location!

Parking is probably the worse thing about this place, but besides that it’s great and walking distance from City Hall. They introduced me to adding cinnamon on top of my chai tea latte! The outdoor patio is also gorgeous.

I intern at the courthouse right across the street so the access is great. There’s rarely a long line and if there is, then you’re not in line for more than 5 minutes. The staff is great. Never anyone who doesn’t want to «be there»; never rude. This Starbucks is also one of the nicest ones in the Long Beach area. Plenty of seating and the décor is very industrial. Great place.

This place is nice. It’s across the courthouse, so if you’re looking to trouble. …better think twice, haha. This place also serves wine. The drinks take a while for them to make but it’s not the worst I’ve been to for fast service. Staff is friendly.

Ok, I am updating my previous review: 5 stars. The Starbucks staff DID take the time to get back to me about the hours and that is ALWAYS appreciated. Consequent visits have been wonderful, to say the least. The mac and cheese is OMG! Our baristas have been so helpful and made excellent suggestions. They knock it out of the park with the early morning court crowd, too. An extra special thank you to all of the baristas!

This location is pretty decent. I appreciate the green curb parking for those like me that just wanna get in and out with a beverage. Baristas were nice and quick. Nice patio seating area if you are looking to chill.

I am not a diehard Starbucks fan. I definitely do not buy it everyday, and when I do… I only buy plain coffee or some sweets. I recently relocated to the area and found this Starbucks. I’ve probably been there at least 10 times now. It is probably one of the best Starbucks I have been to(including the often crowded ones in NYC). The staff here is super friendly, the dining area and restrooms are always clean, the dining area is huge and the patio is huge. For me that means I know I can sit somewhere with my laptop and not have to fight over outlets.(Note: I have only come after 6:00 pm during the week and on weekends so I am not sure how crowded or crazy it gets M-F workhours with the courthouse being right across the street). I haven’t used them yet, but they also have wireless charging for your cell phone. I’ve been to 4 Starbucks in Long Beach and this is the best of those 4. Can’t go wrong when you have WiFi that actually works, plenty of space and great customer service.

I was craving for smoothies and in my mind I was thinking this is not the best place for smoothies. I decided to give it a try anyway and got the strawberry banana… the smoothies was actually pretty good and probably end up coming back here again since my workplace is around the corner. The service was fast and friendly. Oh yeah. do not come here and expect alot of variety of fruit smoothies

This is the 4th Starbucks within a short distance from all the others in downtown LB, including: –one inside Renaissance hotel, limited hours, lots of seats this one can be crowded if there are conventions in town –5th/Long Beach Blvd-super small, dirty, too many loud peeps, watch out for the hustlers in the parking lot –near 3rd/Pine-this is the first one in downtown LB. Limited seating, lots of old folks just people watching, playing games, or talking story. This location is really nice, has lots of outdoor seating, across from the brand new courthouse. Indoors it is also very large, lots of nooks and crannies. I like this set up the best, room to move without elbowing or bumping into somebody. I’ll make take the extra steps to walk here so I can order my coffee in peace. Best location ever.

Very modern Starbucks. So glad they opened one closer to work! Right in the corner of Magnolia & Broadway — across the street from the Courthouse. Street parking available. Friendly & quick service. Spacious inside. Tables aren’t extremely close to each other. Outdoor seating is also available! Around 10 tables inside and 10 tables outside. Never have I seen so many tables at a Starbucks before. Will be back… plenty more times =)

This Starbuck’s is nearby the Governor George Deukmejian Court House & the Long Beach Police Station. It is a welcome addition to the Center Business District with a better brand of services — la boulange bakery & adult beverages. Starbucks is one of the hottest companies in the country, and we’re not just talking about their espresso.
