Store #: #31486. Worst Subway experience ever. Only 4 people ahead of us in line, Waited for 20 minutes(not exaggerating) only to be told no veggie patties. Only two employees but they seemed completely overwhelmed and unorganized. It was obvious that the male employee was having to compensate for the female employee’s glacially slow activity and engagment with customers. Both employees did not seem at all happy and it actually felt like the customers were a burden. I audibly heard one of the employees express frustration during service to a customer! Thankfully, we left and drove over to an alternative Subway location(left out of this commentary to avoid censorship). The store manager from this location DESPERATELY needs to contact the manager of our second location to schedule some training on how to properly run the store and how to have the employees trained for better-than-mediocre service with welcoming attitudes.

I always enjoy a subway sandwich with lots of veggies and a cold drink. What I do no enjoy, is horrible service, which is in great abundance at this location. My boyfriend and I had a pretty awful experience here on a Wednesday night. The place was empty and the woman that was helping make our sandwich was incredibly rude. She did not smile and looked as though it was killing her to talk to us. Also, every word she said was practically a whisper and we had to ask her to repeat herself many times. As I mentioned, the subway was empty and we were the only ones there, which would make you think that the service would be quite fast. Wrong. We ordered two sandwiches and it must have taken her at least 20 mins. The longer we waited, the more we kept thinking«is this a joke?» Once we were finally able to pay, we spoke up to say how bad we felt the service was and the woman lashed back with lots of sass. She didn’t apologize for bad service and instead demanded what she did wrong. The assistant manager did not help us either and we left quite angry.

Completely incompetent staff and slow service to boot. I really enjoy Subway but there are too many in the area to have to put up with a staff that doesn’t know their own sandwiches or how to use the toaster. I wish I could say it was one person but I have visited many times and it’s always about the same.

The staff is really unfriendly and have a bad attitude! They don’t put effort into their job, and it seems that what they put on the sub comes out of their check because they don’t put enough! And they weren’t properly trained for their job.

Meh. Got here at 9 on the dot and they had locked the doors and put the stools up(they close at 10!!). Other times I have been standing at the counter for 5 minutes with no one noticing me. They goof off in the back– I can literally hear them joking around with each other– and when they come to talk to me… Well. They definitely aren’t having fun anymore even if I haven’t said anything. They’ll even joke around or punk each other when making sandwiches. Always have gotten questionable service here… It’s apparent that they judge you for what you decide to eat. Definitely gone downhill on the last year or so. Management needs to change at this location.

I like coming to subway to get a sandwich that will fill me up on the budget of a college student, and this place does just that. It is a good subway, and I really like most of the employees. I come to this location a lot and they greet me and talk to me like I an one of their friends which I really like. I really like the night crew. I give this subway 5 stars because out of all the subways, I believe this is a better one, although subway in general does not deserve 5.

I always get the veggie with avocado on flatbread. Add a little Chipotle and it’s hard to beat. For the most part, the staff here is awesome, and we’ve gotten to know a few of them well. They are always helpful and willing to make any accommodations that you might have.

This subway has gone downhill recently. My last visit just sealed their fate in my book. I went in to order a sub and a salad… The chick making my sandwich kept leaning into the case over my sandwich and her shirt kept touching the sandwich… When she was making the chopped salad she dropped a tomato into the cutting board then threw it back into the bowl :-/As bad as this was I didn’t really care. I’ve eaten worse in my undergrad years… I get to the register to pay and the cashier tells me they don’t have any forks or croutons, and their ice machine is broken… Why would you let me order a salad and not tell me you are out of forks? What am I supposed to eat it with? My fingers? I asked the cashier why no one told me they were out of forks before I ordered a salad… She got a little attitude and said«I didn’t make your sandwich, I don’t know.» I think I’ll stick to the subway on PCH and Obispo for now. Way better customer service and I don’t have to worry about any allergic reactions or food poisoning from cross contamination…

Walked in and nobody was behind the counter then I had to say my order twice then I got the smallest sub I have ever seen. When I questioned the amount of pastrami the person behind the counter said they made the portions smaller then asked me if I wanted more I said sure but she never gave me any then made a big deal out of the fact I didn’t want mustard I said then it would be a pickle and mustard sandwich. My wife always says don’t go to this Subway if I learned nothing else I will listen to my wife more

2 hours before closing and you’re out of pickles? What’s the dill with that??! Sammiches are just not the same without pickles, for me. I’m an «extra pickles please», didn’t come up in here to be teased! To make it worse, tell me you’re out… when I can see you’re low? How’s this supposed to go? «oh, I see you’ve grossly miscalculated… give me 2 pickles on my footlong, so those remaining 10 pickles can be rationed out over the next 2 hours…» Eh?! That’s about as lame as Chipotle being out of steak(like my last 4 visits). They’re next to get their come uppins’…

There wasn’t much that stood out at this location for me. The service was pretty much average with a hint of attitude. We stopped by for some meatball marinara sandwich to share. Parking is always nice here there is a nice large lot. It was clean has maybe 4 – 5 tables in a small seating area. The bathrooms are right next to the seating area inside. Bofa ATM in same lot. Good for getting your veggies on any time and day of the week.

Horrible service! Its 830 and they have 1 guy making sandwiches while the other 2 workers are cleaning so they can leave by 11. Are you kidding? You have almost 3 hrs left! Its taking forever to make our sandwiches! I’ve been here plenty of times and this was just a bad night I guess. I suggest you avoid this place after 6pm. Go next door and get some Jamba Juice instead.

I eat a lot of Subway. Most experiences are what you expect. I hadn’t been to this one before so I gave it a try. First off the parking lot is a nightmare. I would say there are only 20 parking spots for the 3 or 4 businesses that are in this particular strip mall. During the lunch rush it got crowded and on my way out I noticed a line of cars waiting for a parking spot to open up. And you’re stuck with the lot because street parking is not an option. Now for Subway itself. It was busy and the line was moving. They made my sandwich and I paid for it. I then walked out to my car and discovered that the cashier had pulled some sort of Houdini and I got the wrong sandwich. I ran back in and there was another guy standing there that got the wrong sandwich. I actually had his sandwich and my sandwich left with the lady that was in front of me. Who knows how long this went on for. Like I said it was busy with about 8 – 10 people in line and they had to stop everything to make sure the sandwiches were in the right order. The guy in front commented that he had already been in line 20 minutes. They couldn’t find my sandwich so they had to make another one. The whole thing was just a cluster fuck.

I don’t usually give bad reviews, but when I was charged incorrectly and when effort was not made to correct or clarify then I will bring it to ones attention. The service started out friendly, but the lasting impression was completely the opposite. I’m always weary of this plaza because of the lack of parking and my previous experience at Jamba Juice next door. I was in the area and felt like a subway. I saw the advertised $ 5 combo: 6″ sub and chips plus drink. Score. Sounds good, I didn’t want a foot long. The listed options for the sub were clear: Black forest ham, BLT, Chicken, Spicy Italian, Cold cut combo, Veggie Delite, Meatball Marinara and featured sub of the month. Since my usual turkey wasn’t part of the options, I asked the server about the featured sub of the month. December was the Western Egg and Cheese. Ok, I love breakfast and I can eat it anytime of the day. I chose the Featured sub of the month as my sub sandwich option. She asked which bread, I said flatbread is fine. They asked if I wanted it toasted, I said sure, great! They had the full footlong flatbread. I was wondering hmm. my order is only the 6″ which is what the combo includes. Maybe they are making extra for someone else? As I reached the end of the line I told another server that I ordered the combo so its a 6″. Since it was a different server who completed my order, she said this sub is not part of the combo. I referred her back to the original server who said it was. Everything seemed clear by then, she cut the sandwich to 6″. I get to the cashier and then she tells him $ 1.00 for egg. I thought that was weird, but I figured its just how they rang up the combo order(maybe to track inventory). My order came out to $ 6.53. That’s a lot of tax on a $ 5 combo. I checked the receipt and obviously there was the«$ 1.00 charge ontop of the regular combo. She charged me for a ham&cheese sub + drink +chips and additional $ 1.00 for egg. I asked her why there was the extra charge for the egg. She said its not part of the sub combo and you added the EGG. I said I didn’t and that the western egg/cheese comes w/the egg. She shrugged and said thats how it is. They were busy and I hated to be that jerk to fight over $ 1.00, so I took my order and left. Never going back to this subway location again. Nor will I go to the Jamba Juice in this same plaza.

This is one of my favorite Subway Sandwich restaurants. I find the lunch team very friendly. When I call in my order often the recognize me: «the usual Jon?» Veggies and bread are always fresh. One of the neatest things is I can walk there from my State Farm office at 2750 Bellflower Blvd in 3 minutes. I generally go next door to the Jamba Juice and get a smoothie and I am set for the day! Sometimes I get a foot longs when they are on special, and one of my team members are happy to split it with me. Feel free to contact me:

They act like kids, I drop my soda outside and all heard from the employees was laughing. Just a bunch of kids, they lost my bussiness. Plenty of other Subways out there. Don’t go to this one.
