This spot used to be called the Tooties bar. The grand opening for Tailgate Bar is June 14. I like the new management.

It’s a local blue collar/​no collar dive. Most of the patrons look like they’re over 30. The bar station is centered in the room so everyone hangs out around it. They have a typical selection of drinks –no belgium styles, wheats, citrus, or specialty beers. They serve the typical cleans and cocktails –Jack, Patron, Smirnoff etc. They have a digital juke box and a pool table. If music sets the atmosphere, then know that when I was there all I heard was old funk & soul. They’ve got BBQ cooking outdoors on the weekend. The demographic was mostly Black with a dash of White and a hint of Filipino. It’s not a terrible place, but I will not be returning anytime soon.
