love the coffee here but are the posted hours of operation are ever followed? I rarely find this place open in the morning but their coffee is awesome. I’ve knocked off two stars due to the inconsistency with hours of operation.

Do not go here. The place is CLOSED! There was a government notice in the window stating the place is CLOSED.

You can tell Jordan is passionate about making good coffee and puts his all into each and every cup. It’s nice to meet people who take their craft — whichever craft it may be — seriously and do it with intent. Always meet interesting characters there too and Jordan is never without something to discuss.

The Best Mocha in Long Beach. My friend and I did a survey of all the local places and seriously this is one serious mocha. Not too sweet, generous portion and somehow marshmallowy. But in a campfire charred way. I almost took away one point tho because they’re not open enough. I want to go every day on my morning walk and I can’t.

Yummy lattes! The lavender was amazing. It’s super small so to go only? But the owner is very nice and his latte is even better!

Very nice neighborhood café. The owner is very hospitable and suggested the Mocha for me made with in-house chocolate!

Was entertained by the size of this place. Ordered the Americano and it was nice and strong. Also, they have a drink called tasting Chocolate. The barista explained it but none of what she said made sense. I was like, YOUHADMEATCHOCOLATE. JUSTGIVEITTOMEALREADY. Would like to return and try the lavender and green tea latte drink. They were out of the matcha when I stopped it. It was about 15 minutes before closing. Overall, not too bad.

This place is unique and special. Their espresso is made to exacting standards and is superb. I love it straight or in an Americano; either way, the flavor is robust and satisfying. Jordan, Linda, and Monet are a great team and are each dynamic and engaging in their own way. They and the cozy place will make you feel welcome into their secret little club of espresso happiness. They put a lot of effort into creating special editions of otherwise standard faire. Their mocha is made with a ganache plus a few secret ingredients that drive chocolate lovers crazy(they can make chocolate-only drinks, as well, cold and hot). They mix the spices in their chai tea themselves. They have some unique drinks, such as the lavender steamer, which they also make by hand with fresh lavender. And then there’s the conversation. If there’s a crowd in the tiny place, just poke one of the regulars with a question or two, and you’ll have as much interesting and entertaining conversation as you have time for. The owners are, of course, the ring leaders. So if they’re not busy mixing up their concoctions(and sometimes even while they are), they’re always up for a little topical conversation, banter, or what-have-you. If you live nearby, this should be where you go for your daily caffeine. If you are visiting, you should not miss this tiny little gem that is unique to Long Beach.

It’s a closet. Without a doubt the best closet I’ve ever been in! The person serving us was great but they ran out of milk but they offered my mom half and half(Breve) instead of any other milk. The coffee is great!

AMAZING. It is a really small storefront, and it’s run by one guy– the owner. Be prepared to wait a little while, but it’s so worth it to have this amazing drink hand crafted right in front of you. I had an iced Lavender Steamer, made with vanilla and edible lavender. It was so delicious! Fresh and floral and only slightly sweet. My friend got the mocha, and it was to die for. Made with real and natural chocolates, no Hershey bars here! It was truly delightful. The owner loves to stand and talk about coffee, teas, or anything you’d like! He was totally chill with my friend grilling him on questions about his drinks too(she is very passionate about coffee and related beverages). I will definitely be back, and as often as I can!

I’ve never cared for chai tea or any other interpretations of the drink. Until recently, I gave an iced chai latte a shot, but it was too sweet. With lost eagerness for the drink, I gave the madras chai latte over ice at The Flea Espresso Bar a chance to reawaken an interest for this particular tea. I haven’t had many but I think it’s the best iced chai latte I’ll ever have! The shop is really small, about four people would be enough to fill this place to capacity, so it’s ideal for a quick stop. As cute as the shop looks in pictures, it was a little disorderly during my visit. Which had me questioning whether I even wanted to order anything, but I just went with my gut since I had been awaiting the day I could finally make a trip there. I was elated after that first sip of that chai, and was glad to have looked past any initial doubts. The proprietor made me such a great chai latte and was also humorous in the process. It all makes for a good weekend coffee or tea fix. p. s. Call ahead before a visit, as the business hours on Unilocal might be incorrect.

We’ve been here a few times and are always floored by the lovely service and delicious coffee. Today we saw they had a «lavender steamer» so we decided to try it as lattés. Simply MARVELOUS. We love the service here, as whoever is working is usually very easy and pleasant to talk to – not what you expect in So Cal, so a big relief from the usual«you don’t exist» attitude. They’re also very patient and pleasant with our toddler, who is usually busy pulling pamphlets and papers off shelves and running in and out of the place. I also appreciate that when they pull a shot that they’re not satisfied with, they’ll pull another. I think that shoes that they are passionate about their business and the quality of their coffee. We no longer live in So Cal, but whenever we visit we make a point to drive out of our way to go here.

Not a huge selection but good quality joe. It is a tiny little Spot with a few seats outside, our coffee guru was very sweet and made one hell of a latte. I’m not in this area often but I’ll gladly stop by when I am. Also the theater let’s ya bring in your coffee :)

This cozy shop can be easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, but it’s definitely not something to pass by. My first thought upon entering was, «wow, this is so freaking quaint.» The décor is a hodgepodge of antique and thrifted goods that are all in a vintage circus theme. The owner said that he had a lot of fun picking out things to decorate the interior with from flea(ha) markets… and it shows! The owner was very personable, and he is visibly passionate about his craft. He will chat with you while making your drink, and he told me that his smaller menu allows him to perfect each of his mixes. This is the truth! The drinks are amazingly high quality. I ordered a Lavender Steamer, which was more expensive than what I’m used to at $ 4.50, but oh my… it was so rich, frothy, and delicious. Worth it! There is no caffeine in it, which is a plus for me because I sometimes get a headache from too much caffeine. Since the inside is too small, it’s outdoor seating only. It wasn’t busy when I went, so I savored my drink in peace. You will feel welcome and comfortable here. Perfect treat for the upcoming colder months. Drinks: 5, Service: 5, Environment: 5, Price: 4

A good hole-n-the-wall coffee shop makes me smile. Especially when the owner covered the café with unique antique-ish stuff he got from flea markets, art events and his mothers garage. It adds a very intimate welcoming touch. I was recommended the cold coffee he brews with the ginormous drip(?) coffee maker. But I opt for a good strong latte. It def hit the spot. I could taste the fresh grounded beans. Wish it was close to work so I could stop by all the time(cheaper than Starbucks! Better quality).
